I love it. Seriously, this was like one of the best Superbowls EVAR...(except the comercials :/). I think it's an omen; the Yankees are going to beat the Red Sox this year. New York is back.

But seriously, the commercials sucked really bad. There were only a few that I even laughed at.

And i missed the deaf one.. there was supposed to be a commercial about the deaf... Missed it, did anyone else see it?

I was watching the whole time, and I didn't see a commercial about the deaf, but I guess it's possible I missed or forgot it.

supposed to be one about a guy who leaned on his horn and the only house that didn't light up was his... sound familiar?

Anyway i'm disappointed the Pats lost, but hey...

Yep, I will agree with you there Omna, I dont like a team that buys all there players and still cant win.

I actually thought the half-time show was the best I've ever seen. I was surprised how good Tom Petty's voice sounded.

Anyhoo, I'm tired. That game wore me out. Lots of screaming in my house. An amazing super bowl by far. You really couldn't tell by the first half though.

I find it funny how Eli went from "The next Rex Grossman" (sorry Chicago fans!) to Super Bowl MVP.

Family Guy is on right now and its about the Patriots and Peter....lol....Peter was on the Patriots, Its hilarious. Anyone else watching it?

I saw that in syndication last night. The coincidence of it's placement on the local Fox station the night before the Super Bowl and it's subject is just funny as hell now.

My reasoning for not liking the Yankees is actually quite simple, I dont like the fact that they buy their talent unlike over teams, and they still cannot win(At least anymore, guess the old saying is right, Money cant buy everything:p:D)

Wrong. Best team in history of any sport? Uhh, Russian National Hockey Team comes to mind. They know their hockey. As far as american sports are concerned, I think the Packers would try to contest that. They have almost always been good. The Yankees though, as much as it pains me to say, are damn good at what they do. Not in recent years, but they have always been a force to be reckoned with. Still...

EDIT: I just read Psiblast's post above me, and i realized some people value their toes more than others. I have no use for them. I loled at that.

My weekend was ok, simply because I did not do anything that could really go wrong. I am glad that the Giants won. I usually like the underdog and wanted the Pats to lose. I do not know why, but I did. I haven't really heard enough of Tom Petty to make an actual decision on him. I packed and had pizza during the halftime show. A few of the commercials were good, but most just didn't seem very high-quality.
I like my toes, but not a whole lot. . . hmm. . .

There are probably more people I could respond to, but it is late, and I have a morning class, so I need sleep. Night.

Hi everybody.... Its about 3:50am and I can't seem to sleep, even tho I'm still kind of tired... it might be because I slept so much this weekend.. Anyway, my boss is picking me up at 7:45 and seeing as its close to 4... there's really no point in going back to bed for an hour and a half at the most... I don't know maybe it is.. we'll see how I feel after this post.. But its good cuz I set up the coffeemaker- forgot to do that before I went to bed last night

Anyway, I found it hilarious, the spiel of conversations we had going on last night I never knew there could be so much fun talking about sports Normally I'm not a sports person but in the case of the Patriots and the Red Sox, i DO have an opinion

and I like my toes, Strongbad, you wouldn't dare chop MINE off

Alrighty, i'm going to go read for a little bit, or nap on the recliner, or something.. mmm... Apple juice is good.. I went to bed last night, and then kept thinking I wanted some, so I guess I've been tossing and turning for a few hours about that So I woke up and had some...Been a while too!

Awww. Man. I didn't even get to watch the Superbowl, or realize that yesterday was Superbowl Sunday for that matter. It would have been on in the morning here for me, but I doubt it would have made Japanese network TV anyway. And I would love to come to a housewarming party. My house is very cold.

Bummer.

So, I like, get to teach two nurses tomorrow. Private lesson for two hours. Things like that - not a bummer. Now if only I could figure some way to get them to wear their uniforms...

Also, next weekend is a three-day one for me due to Founding Day on Monday. I'm planning to go visit Matsue Castle. I heard they have a maid cafe even somewhere thereabouts, so that should be cool, and doubly cool if I manage to find said cafe.
