Wow. All this talk about the baby stats is being taken very seriously.
makes me wish i was more familiar with the feat list so I could make a baby joke. So instead I'll note the oddness of how a lefvel 0 creature has well... no hot points, I supose, since levels are hit dice. Actually, If I hadd to work something out, I'd probably have babies start out with 1d1 hit die, then go up to a d2 hit die, thne d3 then d4, at which point it becomes level 1
And I totally got sarnath'd on the "babies do so have a +4 charisma comment" (since they are poop and noise machines that still get treated so well.)
What kind of build are you looking to create with this baby? Perhaps EWP: Bill bec-di-bardiche glaive-guisarme. You never know whether the kid will become a halberdier... an incredibly specialized halberdier.
It involuntarily uses charm person as a spell-like ability.
Assuming I have average CHA...
Its high CHA modifier makes it better at disguising itself as Alacar than I am. (Alacar and I are in the same age category, but there's only a -2 penalty to disguise from baby to adulthood, which the baby's charisma makes up for.) It would also do two points better on an untrained perform check than I would. (Which is anything except Act and Wind Instruments, assuming my mime and alto clarinet training are sufficient to count as having a rank in those skills).
I really think babies are adorable. Just throwing that out there.
Having you and Josh for parents would be so weird, cause you're totally normal guys, not old people like parents are. Don't go all old fogey on us just because you're a parent. (I obviously understand that it's several years off, minimum, but it's still pretty exciting.)
And how many babies do you see with squigly lines coming from their head?
That would be assuming the baby had the dexterity and mental knowhow to do a disquise. Any said disguise on a baby would have to be produced by an external source, such as a parent or a pope trying to fool the police.
They obviously just choose to suppress the display.
Because the baby is a first level human, he gets two feats. I suggest Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Heavy Repeating Crossbow), or possibly Open Minded, spending the skill points in something awesome, like Ride. If Open Minded is his first feat, then he can pick up Mounted Combat as his second, although he'd have to get a mount somewhere. (His low stats close off many feats to him, unfortunately.)
Most human PC's do not reach level one until they are somewhere between 15-25. Having 0 experience would make them level 0, at best even. They don'y even get a default language.
Sure, if you wanna muck up this purely wonderful conversation with things like "common sense" and "game rules."

Heya, arimnaes. Pretty much anyone is welcome in this clan as a friend or as a member.
I did play KoL for a while, but I fell away from it for some reason. I wonder if my characters still exist.

According to the Deities and Demigods suppliment, Bahamut, a mighty and powerful dragon god, can sense any event that affects the welfare of good dragons if at least 500 dragons are involved. Sure, that's real useful. That's what he gets for taking such a limited portfolio. (For contrast, Ehlonna, roughly Bahamut's equal in divine power, automatically senses anything that threatens the forest, and can sense anything that happens near any tree at will. Then again, she can't spit death rays, so maybe it balances out.)
EDIT: Another unimpressive divine power from the book - the ability to sense anything within 15 feet if both are you are in the same body of water.
EDIT: Not quite as narrow as Bahamut's but the ability to sense winemaking is pretty dang narrow. Of course, the deity in question can also sense many other much broader things.
EDIT: Not quite as narrow as Bahamut's but the ability to sense winemaking is pretty dang narrow. Of course, the deity in question can also sense many other much broader things.
Winemaking? Which deity would this be? I don't recall such a divine power.
Can't Bahamut sense any mortal's very THOUGHT of maybe being able to commit mass dracocide, perhaps even a DAYDREAM?
Winemaking is apparently a corner of Olidammara's portfolio, but he can also sense thefts, songs, jokes, and performances of most any kind, so he's hardly limited.
Bahamut's entry says he can sense any 'event' that affects good dragons as long as 500 are 'involved'. I suppose you could easily rule that he can sense such schemes. I doubt it would come up terribly often. It just struck me that his portfolio sense was so absurdly narrow compared to most of the others. (He is a lesser diety, though, and I guess he really cares about good dragons. If I were partitioning up aspects of reality in order to create a pantheon, I doubt very much I would have even one deity devoted entirely to dragons, much less two; Tiamat's portfolio is the same as Bahamut's, but evil.)
I always though Oli was the god of rogues, rakes, rapscallions, rhapsody, and revelry (and possibly of alliteration). Turns out his domains are "Music, Revels, Wine, Rogues, Humor, and Tricks."
I guess that makes sense. Still... winemaking? What about Sense *****house? Would that go to the chaotic good goddess of lust (I don't recall her name, but she's from Book of Exalted Deeds) or the Laughing Rogue?

Well, Deities and Demigods (Which only includes about six demigods) does in one of the alternate pantheons give Aphrodite the power to portfolio-sense lovemaking (as well as falling in love), and her pantheon-mate Dionysus gets portfolio sense for wine drinking. (And nothing else. But really, that's what Dionysus cares about, in't it?

I'm doing a softcore oxy run this time; and having ascended as a DB, SA, and PM (as well as a TT and SC), it's profitable for me to play every day, what with my crafting spells and my clan that has trillions of meat in the coffers and all three meat plants in the Rec Room, thanks to its few hundred members. I actually have a fantasy world I have been forming in my head. I will be introducing bits of it here to help organize my thoughts and to get feedback.
Its just a new fantasy setting. Though some rules changes will be implimented. Character creation changes as follows (for Ability scores)
Str, Dex, con, Int, Wis, Cha. As normal. Each starts as 2D (two dice)
Player distributes 10 Extra Dice as sees fit among each Ability score.
Races add (or subtract) extra dice to this total. Once these are all figured out, you roll the desired dice for each Ability. IE if you have 5D in Strength, you roll 5d6. Then you keep the best 3.

The setting is a fantasy setting, only with more basis on myth and folklore (elves and goblins stealing and raising babies. For instance)
I will get into depth shortly. If I have time today I will write something.
Also, the new Ability score system also effects leveling up. Whenever you gain a level you can reroll any of your dice. (This means a little more book keeping) So say at creation, if you roll 5 dice for Strength and get a 1,3,4,4,5; your Strength would be 13. When you level up, if you want to increase your Strength you could reroll any one of those dice. The end result; The higher your stats, the harder it is to improve them.
