40 posts per page is where it is at. You have all shown me the light.
I got a job at the local shooting range. I am getting paid to sit on my butt and wait for bored hunters to come stumbling in. Because the station's shack has no heating, I am getting payed very well to stay out in the lovely weather we've had lately. It's not that big of a deal, as I would be outside anyway. I love nature.
Speaking of the weather, I am pissed at the Packers. Such a great season to have been thrown away in overtime. Damn it.
Kristen and I are in an odd state right now. We tried a relationship, only to end it a mere ten days later. Yet, the same time that we broke up, we made plans for coutwarming and prom. Nothing's really changed in our relationship. We still hang out, still talk on the phone, and still do pretty much everything we did while we were "official". I think the pressure of the entire thing, coupled with the expectations of everyone around us, just kind of got to us. As facebook says, "It's Complicated."
Oh well, we're both happy, and that's all that really matters, isn't it?
A Magic Prerelease went and gone without me even noticing. I just noticed today that the Morningtide Spoiler was up at all, let alone complete. I think it's safe to say I'm done with Magic.

Fool, like a girl? I don't think so. He's more manly than all us put together, most days!
Business is actually very steady. Several hundred in preorders per day. That'll slow to a hundred a day next week and then become more sporadic again after the official release. Of course, I need that money to buy the product itself... I used to have thousands saved up and ready to spend on the next set. Doesn't work that way anymore. Oh well, not complaining! Here's hoping I can pay most of the mortgage with business profits. Cost of living has gone up about 40% since buying the house, so I'll either be taking more shifts at the hospital, or business is going to improve, one or the other. Can't lose the house, obviously.
Possibly a chick? I was so close to hitting on this Laika character and then I realized how that was wrong to the nth degree. And then I realized she was a nasty girl and then I am now very confused about my gender identity.
That being said, it looks like in about a week, I may be a guitar and bass guitar teacher. Here's hoping. That's about $13 more an hour than I'm making now, and I'd actually like my job.
PS, dibs on next thread-makery, as I've never actually done that in my entire tenure in the clan.
I want to buy some cards to fix them up. But nothing really tickles my fancy when I look at Lorwyn or Morningtide.
Yet, I know some cards could be of great benefit.
I'll just tell you all about my decks one at a time. First off, check out my R/B Goblin/Zombie deck:
Well, This is one of my 13 decks. I never play it b/c it isn't very fun or good. But after looking at Lorwyn block I think, with some help, it could actually be made into a decent deck. I'd like to go extended here. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanx.

Official Bath-Time Toy of the |Called|
Makin' sure the ladies are squeaky clean ..everywhere!!
Netdecking is piloting Magic.
Homebrew is creating Magic.
Are you a pilot or a creator??
Not going to lie, I'm pretty much 1000% of Legacy competitive mindset... if I was to give you advice, it'd warp into a Legacy Goblins deck, and I think that betrays the spirit of the deck... however, I'd up it to four Lackeys anyways, considering your Goblin density and the tempo boost that guy provides. Also, I guess if you're using Dralnu's Crusade, you might as well add some Undead Warchiefs. Give all your guys an additional +2/+1.
This is about as good as I can do. You should look through the newer sets and see if you think there is anything better. The Blood Moons are main because there are so many decks that rely on non-basics. Doran, one of the top tier decks, uses then exclusively. I'm sure after the beating they got in Maryland they will start running more basics. I can't really hurt you, once your manabase is set on turn 2 you can drop the Moon. from there you just run over everything.
Play test online.

Hey! I don't have ADHD! I just happen to...oh look at the kitty. *pets kitty*
So yesterday and last Sunday I went hiking in the superstition mountains. Its a mountain range rumored to have the lost dutch mine gold, I think I already mentioned this. Anyway, I enjoy parking my car at the trail head and hike some random ravine and try to get to the top. Not only do I get a good work out scrambling over rugged terrain, but I can be quite secluded despite the area being a popular hiking zone.
These last two trips were unique in that I didn't go hiking alone. I went hiking with this wonderful woman that actually enjoys hiking. Not only that, but she was able to scramble up some difficult terrain and even enjoyed squeezing through some tight spots. At first I was a little worried she wouldn't be able to keep up with my typical hiking style, or that some of the more technical parts would be too dangerous for her, but as the day wore on it became apparent that she can easily hold her own. Needless to say that is something I admire. We even found a cave in the mountains and she demanded that we explore it. Even the parts where we were dragging our stomachs through deep mud down an extremely narrow tunnel. Hey, I wasn't going to argue.
So I really like this woman and I think she likes me. Problem is she is currently involved in a relationship. Despite this, she has invited me to go on more hikes just me an her. It seems theres a bit of an ethical dilemma as I am having way too much fun hiking with her. Is this something I should Continue? And what of the guy in the relationship? I mean from what I've heard he is kind of geeky, but then...*shrug*...i don't know.
Here are some pictures of our recent hikes.
This is the two of us in the superstition mountains. Behind us is the famous Weavers needle. This is a landmark that is suppose to be visible or mark the way to the lost dutch mine. I haven't found any gold yet.
There was a very steep bit of terrain here. I climbed up a bit of a brittle vertical wall. She wasn't able to do so, but found a very narrow tunnel that she could crawl through. It was fun to watch her struggle through to the other side. Would have been easier to try the vertical wall, but she had fun.
Here we are after struggling through a very narrow muddy cave. There is something to be said about a woman willing to go scrambling through the mud with you.
Cheers,
Daggertooth

And I guess that I'm a lucky one for the truth of what I know. For my heart had not denied me and I have somewhere to go. I shall never be a prisoner of steel and glass and stone. If I leave, I will return again to my Rocky Mountain home.
In a few months I'm doing some rough hiking with 60kg packs for a few days - the Overland track in Tasmania. I'm quite excited, it's an 80km trip. It should be fun, plus we're spending a week in Hobart afterwards
I need some help with my extended Affinity. I think I just need to cut back some pyrite spellbombs to add Springleaf Drums and then work some negotiable slots in SB for Spell Snare/Atog/Fatal Frenzy. I think Shrapnel Blast/Frenzy is a bit of a metagame slot.
Daggs....what kind of geeky guy would let his woman wander around dark and secluded caves with a rugged man like you? If I were you....I would get her into one of these caves and see what happens next. I mean the guy can't be more than 6 feet tall with a little pot belly, at home all day with 4 girls and working all night....right? If she digs on what you guys have going together, I say go fo....

Nah, i actually have a question: Can I be a member? Pretty please, i'm ready to do favours You guys have always been ace and i know some of you (would like to know the others).
* Diggy brings beer
Edit:@charlie: I've found that the shrapnel blasts run well (on MTGO anyway) as well as Atog. This could be because i cannot afford to run ravagers so i need the reach of that. I've yet to test springleaf drum although lmk what you think of it.
The drum is supposed to be the strongest addition to affinity in years, so I'll give it a go and see how it plays. I wouldn't mind you being a member, by the by, since I've known you for a while and we have been clanmates before.
You call yourself a "Fluffy Bear". You say that ladies look at you as the calm, even minded type that means no harm to anyone. You are shy, as you've said in the past. YET...when something gets you fired up, I don't want to be in front of you when it happens. You have an anger that you harness very well, but once unleashed......*****......lookout!:o

Christopher may not be angry that often, though. I do agree he's a bit of a contradiction though. I mean, he's so innocent... but he keeps referring to the whips and chains......

Brilliant Jonski! :D:D:D I loved this too. Man, two funnies in one thread!
Seriously Chris, she sounds like she's up your alley but getting involved with a chick who's involved is a bad plan! Statistically you have about a 9 in 10 chance of something going horribly wrong, from a failed relationship attempt to broken heart(s) to a punched-in nose.
* rancored_elf puts that statistic back in his ass *
Never know when I'll need it again.
EDIT: I've been let in on the joke..... very funny
What is it with, Daron, and putting things there? You treat your ass like a kangaroo's pouch or something.
That having been said, beer is a mighty fine bribe. Mighty mighty fine. Depending on what kind. It could be an insult. If it's Budweiser, Michelob, Miller, Coors, Heineken, or Corona, that's an anti-vote from me.

WHO CARES!!! It's a new thread!................
So, life update time.
The farm animals are still...farm animals.
And that's life right now.
Gimme your cards! There are some cards that I really need and I'm surious to what you may have. Can you send me a list of your cards?
jonny's desperate!:p
I'd have to organize them and get the list written up. Right now they're all in a giant box, and I have no clue what's in there.
That could be negotiated, but I would need a good chunk of change.
I like the nasty soap! It tastes like poop and bubbles! Brian....playa haita!
I see london, I see france, I see daron running around in his underpanties starring at he screen, mouth agape in horror that I can see his pee pee and it's cute and little!:p
* rancored_elf packing for Friday's move*
Welcome to the club, friend!
* rancored_elf splashes some of the holy clove oil on your forehead and makes some weird symbol in the air*
Ew, tha was kinda cultish. Oh well
Yeah I noticed that. Good luck.
How did you guys know I was packing in my boxers today?
No....... seriously?
That being said, it looks like in about a week, I may be a guitar and bass guitar teacher. Here's hoping. That's about $13 more an hour than I'm making now, and I'd actually like my job.
PS, dibs on next thread-makery, as I've never actually done that in my entire tenure in the clan.
When you cross my mind you'd best look both ways.
D, we are a tight clan. 'nuff said.
eds - aww, hey, no, pack the webcam last >_<
I want to buy some cards to fix them up. But nothing really tickles my fancy when I look at Lorwyn or Morningtide.
Yet, I know some cards could be of great benefit.
I'll just tell you all about my decks one at a time. First off, check out my R/B Goblin/Zombie deck:

Homebrew is creating Magic.
Are you a pilot or a creator??
That's the best I've got for now.
When you cross my mind you'd best look both ways.
2x Barbarian Ring
2x Goblin Burrows
4x Bloodstrained Mire
9x Moutain
5x Swamp
~Creatures~
4x Goblin Piledriver
4x Mogg Fanatic
3x Dark Confidant
3x Goblin King
2x Goblin Matron
3x Seige-Gang Commander
3x Goblin Sharpshooter
4x Gempalm Incinerator
2x Goblin Ringleader
4x Goblin Warchief
3x Chrome Mox
3x Blood Moon
4x Leyline of the Void
3x Smother
2x Wort, Boggart Auntie
3x Boil
This is about as good as I can do. You should look through the newer sets and see if you think there is anything better. The Blood Moons are main because there are so many decks that rely on non-basics. Doran, one of the top tier decks, uses then exclusively. I'm sure after the beating they got in Maryland they will start running more basics. I can't really hurt you, once your manabase is set on turn 2 you can drop the Moon. from there you just run over everything.
Play test online.

Cheers,
Daggertooth
For my heart had not denied me and I have somewhere to go.
I shall never be a prisoner of steel and glass and stone.
If I leave, I will return again to my Rocky Mountain home.

:sneaky:Favours??:sneaky:
Daggs....what kind of geeky guy would let his woman wander around dark and secluded caves with a rugged man like you? If I were you....I would get her into one of these caves and see what happens next. I mean the guy can't be more than 6 feet tall with a little pot belly, at home all day with 4 girls and working all night....right? If she digs on what you guys have going together, I say go fo....

The drum is supposed to be the strongest addition to affinity in years, so I'll give it a go and see how it plays. I wouldn't mind you being a member, by the by, since I've known you for a while and we have been clanmates before.
I don't get it.

This got me grinning, thanks Bri!
We'll think about it.
* rancored_elf drinks your beer in the meantime *
Brilliant Jonski! :D:D:D I loved this too. Man, two funnies in one thread!
Seriously Chris, she sounds like she's up your alley but getting involved with a chick who's involved is a bad plan! Statistically you have about a 9 in 10 chance of something going horribly wrong, from a failed relationship attempt to broken heart(s) to a punched-in nose.
* rancored_elf puts that statistic back in his ass *
Never know when I'll need it again.
EDIT: I've been let in on the joke..... very funny
That having been said, beer is a mighty fine bribe. Mighty mighty fine. Depending on what kind. It could be an insult. If it's Budweiser, Michelob, Miller, Coors, Heineken, or Corona, that's an anti-vote from me.
