My roommate has this song on her MP3 player called "I Must Be Emo".
It's the most hilarious thing I've ever heard come out of her speakers.
I saw my high school's musical last night. Little Shop Of Horrors. That's probably the best production I've seen/been a part of since my sophomore year musical [Footloose]. I was quite honestly surprised. But in a good way! My friend ian and i were pointing out all the mistakes made, but it was all in good fun.
Today I have done absolutely nothing but watch tv. Ohio State beat Wisconsin, which was good.
and yeah. spring break this week. Mikey comes on friday!

re: American chocolate. Having seen a couple [one] picture of it (I think on Wikipedia) I suppose I prefer the design of the European version. Tech-wise, I know nothing about it, so I can't say. Personally, though, I'm amazed at the speaker quality/loudness of it - quite impressive, really.
Eh, the American one has a bigger screen, I dunno if there's anything different besides that besides aesthetics. I like the checker box shading on the keypad for the European one more, though. I dunno about they touch pad, I guess it could go either way for me.
Random news from this front -- trying to get back together with an ex-bandmate, drummer, and start doing some jams again. I haven't seriously been playing guitar / doing vocals in a really long time, I know my singing has only worsened from its already-previous-not-so-good ways (as for my guitar playing, it's improved but in the sense that I've changed my style). And this mentioned, I will shamelessly plug my old music / "project"...
Totally off-topic buuuuttt.... I like chocolate!
There. (The food, not the movie, nor the mobile phone thing).
Anyway, I'm playing World of Warcraft and I join a pretty fun guild, and invite a non-IRL friend there, and he gives me the nickname Momo. (my character name is Mota). I make a comment about one of the NPCs being gay. Then I practically die and say "I suck" and he's like "Heh, I guess someone just got a nickname change." Some other guy's like "What, Mamo?", and he goes "no, it still ends in -omo. Only one letter changes."
*gnashes teeth, then smiles.*
Then someone jokes "What, Nomo? As in, gone, dead, you are nomo foo?"
Anyway, being 1:45 am is my justification for this needless post. And no, I'm not drunk. Although legally I could be if I were in Portugal.
*hugs everyone amiably, then departs to bed*
Ahhh...MMO's are awesome. I was up until 1 am doing The Tomb of The Primeval Kings in Guild Wars last night. It takes like 30 minutes just to get a group together and its takes an hour to an hour and a half to get through the Tomb. I got some really great drops, though it didn't seem that way at first. Everyone else got like 3 rare items a piece while I only got 1 but I got a unique item and a Glob of Ectoplasm, which is a ridiculously expensive material used in vanity armor. Sadly, the Tomb is the beginner tomb and there are other much harder ones. You have to pay to get into them! *lol* I can pay but I'm a casual player so I can't do it often. Plus people always forget that they have to keep me alive for my character, a Necromancer/Mesmer named Vala of The Fens, for her to keep THEM alive. I provide a wall of undead minions to body block the monsters and occasionally sac some health so they can stay alive longer.
ack! MMOS are NOT awesome noooooooooooooo! Fight it!
the only MMO I want to see and participate in is a Pokemon game for the Wii that utilizes the internet for loads of online interaction. But that'll never happen the way I want.

Jolene, have you read a book called One Door Away From Heaven?
Yeah, it's a Dean Koontz book. why?
I had my eyes checked today...thankfully they've started becoming more regular, and changing less than they used to. I get new lenses next week, woo! I still have the same frames, though, because I'm stubborn and won't get new ones until these are too old/too busted up.
I really hate trying on new frames, 'cause i never find anything I like. it literally takes an entire weekend for me to pick out new frames.
I took my dog for a really long walk today [her walks are usually 10 minutes, we were out for 45], because it was so nice out. She liked it. I find it interesting, though, that she won't walk through a puddle...but she has no problem rolling around in the mud in the backyard. She's a very strange dog.
ALMOST FRIDAY!

If you do it right, you can get porn with your Wii.
idk how, 'cause i don't have a wii. [[shrugs]]
It's as simple as using the Opera web browser to go to a porn site. I don't have a Wii but I know someone who does... and while they were out of the room my curiosity got the better of me... (ok that's a lie. They were in the room and I wanted to make them feel uncomfortable while I satisfied my curiosity ;))
Yeah, it's a Dean Koontz book. why?
Cuz I'm reading it and there's a character in it named Leilani.
I played a Planar Chaos draft on Magic Online on Monday, and came in second. But I got a Damnation in my prize packs, so that made up for the 2nd place finish.
But I hadn't noticed that the drafts ended on Monday, and I had bought 6 packs of PC... so I had 2 extra (I'll still use one of them for a TTP draft). I just opened those and the first pack contained a foil Akroma and a Damnation, and the second contained another Damnation.
So I opened 3 Damnations in 3 days. Which is pretty crazy.
Now, if only I could be that lucky in real life when I open packs... and/or, if only those Damnations were print cards.
Then again, I have occasionally gotten a good bunch of packs, like the time when my play group at college got together for a TS draft (I came in 1st), and I opened a TS Akroma and Avatar of Woe in my prize packs, which wasn't bad... but 3 Damnations and a foil PC Akroma in 5 packs opened (outside of draft) is pretty much the luckiest I've ever gotten.
I liked those posts about Eliza Dushku and Kristin Chenoweth. I think Miss Dushku is a fantastic actress and rather a beauty. The husky voice and androgynous figure are great features, in my mind. I liked her in both Buffy and Tru Calling, even in Bring it On.
I also greatly enjoyed Miss Chenoweth's performances in Wicked and Bewitched, but unfortunately those are the only instances in which I've seen her (except I know she made an appearance in Stranger than Fiction).
@Nevermore: I hope you don't mind my saying this, but your avatar is adorable.
@Tuatha: I think of the two poems you posted, I enjoyed "coins" the most. I agreed with Kraj's evaluations of it. A funny symbol to rely on, yet quite condign in it's way.
@erimir: I've recently been having a similar problem. Though, to be fair, most of the cards I've been getting in an Online form haven't been ostensible chase cards (except for the odd Damnation and Akroma, Angel of Fury), but it's vexing when you have better imaginary cards than material ones.

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.

Oh, and MMO's ARE a Good Thing, as long as you don't take it too seriously or abuse them (i.e. play too much).
True dat. I only play one (GW), and only every so often. Some of my friends are destructively religious about WoW.
the only MMO I want to see and participate in is a Pokemon game for the Wii that utilizes the internet for loads of online interaction. But that'll never happen the way I want.
Actually, if pokemon WAS made into an mmo, it would be the best mmo ever. But you are correct. It would need a perfect community to work correctly.
Fun Fact Of the Day(TM): Pear vodka is the best thing ever invented!
Apparently Chenoweth's role in Stranger Than Fiction was miniscule, so it doesn't really count. The problem with her is, because of her looks and voice, she tends to get very typecast into the "cute and silly" roles.
She was in Leonard Bernstein's Candide as Cunegonde, and did a fantastic job. Look it up on YouTube, if you care to.

She has her masters in Opera, and is an amazing singer. She hasn't done much non-musical theatre, though, if any.
If you want an example of her vocal ability, look up "Glitter and be Gay" from Candide. It's an exceedingly difficult song, and a humurous one, which she sings very well indeed.
EDIT: Nevermind, they took it off YouTube for some reason.
Sorry I don't post here much, generally do not see alot of content and many of you already post in the Coffeehouse anyways. As much as I appreciate the pics, I really don't care about the babe of the week much...though was nice to see a woman selected.

I'm really anti-social today. I'm excited for mikey to be here, but i haven't really wanted to talk to him much today.
this might have something to do with the fact that he's busy geeking out over basketball brackets.
usually i don't really care what he does with sports...but now it kind of bothers me, i almost feel neglected in a way.
it's not worth bringing up though, since it's only two days until he's here. Besides, it's only another two weeks until march madness is pretty much done with. i can handle it.
i wish more people had spring break this week. only two of my friends do--but one's busy with a girlfriend, and the other is busy studying for a nursing exam she has tomorrow. some pretend clinical thinger, i guess.
spring break this year sucks.

I read something about driving, and being the youngest in the family to drive... well, y'know what -my- bragging rights are? I am the only member of the family to get his license [before] a car. HAH! . . . I'm also the only member of the family [without] a car, but nevermind that...
@Nevermore: I hope you don't mind my saying this, but your avatar is adorable.
No, I don't mind at all. ^^;; If I could pass that on towards the artist's way, I would, but unfortunately, I lost contact with her ages ago. Erimir: I didn't see South Park. I don't get that channel unfortunately :(. Hope it was funny.
I also missed America's Next Top Model and the Search for the next Pussycat Doll. Hopefully I don't miss an encore presentation of ANTM. Anyone catch either perchance?
Heh, I sometimes watch ANTM when my brother does. It's a good, light hearted watch, although I confuse the presenter with Beyonce. But God, is the man who sits on her right... weird. 0_o
