anyway I made another landstill deck that basically has good matchup against threshold as well as it can keep decks like cephalid breakfast and ichorid bridge in check after sideboard that is. As well as it has a fairly solid chance against other combo decks. Also it probably has a good chance against the landstill mirror as well with thoughtseize, wasteland + crucible lock, and extirpate. The deck is still in its preliminary stages of testing but so far its been testing doing well. Anyway the name of the deck is based off one of our regulars hunter44. I was also going to try to fit grave-shell scarab and gigapede for some big finishers but considering how the manabase is build its going to be very hard on the manabase since both pede and scarab are double green which in a way is a off color in this deck. Feel Free to speculate or you can just build the thing and see for yourself at least on mws anyway.
my copy of PONG-ify is done...now what? I need ideas that I can make quickly!

Okay, so here's what you gotta do, I think. You want to take a part of a chicken, like the legs or something, and then you want to put like, breadcrumbs on them maybe, and like paprika or something, then you want to make them really hot. Maybe you should dip them in oil first so that the breadcrumbs and paprika stick on there, then like toss them in a frying pan or in the oven or something, maybe on a cooking sheet. I feel like you shouldn't microwave them, although it might not hurt to try. Drumsticks, I think, are the leg part of the chicken.
One of the best things about this whole paragraph is the word combo "leg part."
I also like how, despite it all, you managed to remember the paprika.
Hey, watch it, you hit my leg part!

Bad news guys--It appears I may have an ear infection in my right ear.. can't hear very well out of it and it hurts like hell. Started when I was showering this morning. Thought it was just water. Gonna see what happens.. going to the doctor's tomorrow. Until then, it's ibuprofin and taking it easy.. whew.
Hope ya don't sleep on your side... That's gotta be painful if ya do.
In more personal matters, I lucked out this weekend and didn't catch the flu that my friends had when I stopped by. Funnily enough though, my mom DID get it.
Alacar, your infected ear reminded me of several odd circumstances lately.
My best friend had an ear infection, hurting him like hell for days. The full round of antibiotics did nothing but piss off the bacteria in his ear. i visited him to make him feel better, and low and behold, two days later, not a speck of infection in his ear.
Then his girlfriend got strep throat. She's been out of school for days, and needed her homework. Only problem was, my fiend is very prone to strep, so he couldn't help her. So, naturally, I took her books to her. The next day, she showed up and felt better. Went to the doctor, and again, no infection. She had previously been there but decided not to purchase the antibiotics. Apparently, she's so cheap she won't pay for good health.
Then there's my teacher. She went on a vacation recently to Jamaica. She returned, with a severe eye infection. it was bad enough she went to the hospital to get work done. A few of my friends and i decided to go visit her. Now,she's completely better. This one bay be a stretch, because she was in the hospital, but hey, it goes with the coincidences.
So, apparently, I'm like St. Peter, and my presence is enough to heal people.
Yukora that is kind of weird. Like, very cool, but very weird. That is on the border of healing powers.
That really sucks about the infection Alacar. I hope you feel better dude.

It's a great way to get in touch with me for trades, or just chattin'. Just don't stalk me please.
I finished Overlord, and I have to laugh at some of the things in it. It's totally snarky, like Bard's Tale. It's something I rather enjoy. I'll be having a review of it whenever I decide to get off my butt and do two reviews. I'm now running through again to be as evil as possible.
Speaking of, I have a question for people: If you ever play a game like Mass Effect, KoToR, or any similar games, do you tend to make choices that reflect your own views, or do you try to be different? That is, do you play 'in character', or do you play yourself? I find that I always play myself, always on the 'good' side of the game. Then I play another play through to be as evil a jerk as I can possibly be.
And Mamelon, I'm sorry for calling this problem 'little'. That was not my intention. I was trying to make a comment on how I believe any problem in life is temporary, and subject for laughter later on. But that's just my view. I was not trying to make your news sound unimportant.

It's okay, Nai. I understand and it's fine.
Keep in mind I was quite fragile at the moment so I felt minimized. But in the end I hope you're right and a just a little later down the road I'll be able to feel good about how things went, and know that everything was waiting to happen.
I hope this is but a setback and not a dead-end. I think now, though, that I may not even have to wait that long. I have a lot to work on in the meantime, though.

Just remember that who you are is just that: who you are. It doesn't rely on outwards appearance at all. You know you are who you are. Yes, it's important that others know that too. But so many people rely on outwards appearances when what you are doesn't rely on that at all. If you portray yourself in your real life as you do here, with us, then there is no doubt about who you are.
I have not found a single issue in my life, even my dad's death, that has warranted too much worry and unhappiness. What goes around comes around; luck balances out; death is only permanent to those who think it is. This life is ruled by what you think, or so I think, so there you go.

That's a pretty good question, Nai. I think I would tend to be more like myself: Good for the most part, but flawed in certain areas. In games like those, I would play it similar the way you do. "Good" for the first time or so, and then see what its like to be evil, and all that jazz.
Just remember that who you are is just that: who you are. It doesn't rely on outwards appearance at all. You know you are who you are. Yes, it's important that others know that too. Yeah, I agree. Being who you are is very important, so that should be your #1 priority. After that, you can start working towards the desired outward appearance that everyone seems to rely on so fervently nowadays. Once you are comfortable with who you are, you can move towards the rest.
While I'd love it if changes like these could be done in an instant, and everyone could be happy, such is not the case. You should take it nice and slow; baby steps if you will. That way you won't feel so overwhelmed by everything. Or as overwhelmed.
Grats on the easy final, Alacar.
Speaking of school, I'm going to be heading down to the college I plan on going to on Thursday. From what I understand, I'll be speaking to someone about which particular majors are out there and steer me in the right direction as far as the major itself, classes to take, etc. I'm not sure what I want to do, so this is why I'm doing it.
@Yukora: That sounds pretty odd, but glad to hear everyone is feeling better.
Well, its getting late, so I'm heading to bed. Night everyone!
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

I loved Golden Sun 1 and 2, though I never got to see the ending of 2. I had almost 100% completion but, before I could see the endings, my battery went dead, and I didn't feel like beating the boss -again-. Somehow, though, I doubt there'll be a 3. Sad, because they were good games.

While playing Neverwinter Nights, my first character, a druid, was played more or less with my ethos (or rather, with a heroic version of my ethos - the character did things that I wouldn't actually do because they'd be too frightening.) The game, for those not familiar with it, is calibrated so that being a decent human being (or dwarf, or whatever) that acts more-or-less like a typical hero will make you strongly good, being a total bastard will make you neutral, and you have to be incredibly heinous to be evil. (Typical choices to make run like this: "Hey, will you deliver this letter to the guard at the gate for me?" 1) "Sure, no problem." 2) "Only if you give me all your worldly possessions." 3) "How about I kill you and take all your stuff, instead?" 4) "How about I kill you and your whole family, take all you stuff, and pee all over your corpses?")
After playing through as the druid (neutral good), I decided to try something different, and created an evil gnome sorcerer. I couldn't make it through the first act. I just could not be that evil. (Example: At one point, I agreed to get a guy's brother's staff and journal from some bandits or something. After I brought them back to him, rather than giving them to him, I made him buy them back. Then I killed him, took them off his corpse and sold them to an NPC merchant.)

I usually play what I consider to be my alignment: chaotic good, with not-so-nice tendencies. In Fable, though...well, it's a game, so sacrificing innocents to get the best bow in the game was totally worth it (the buzzing things got annoying, though).
In NWN2, I played as a CG drow sorcerer/dragon disciple...I got through the first part of the adventure, and then my laptop keeled over and I lost all my data
