Pasrt of Tneill's history here is his whole gener scandal. How could you expect them not to put that in there, and then allow them to bash TFE, and Kroen?
Of course, the bad that was done should be included. no argument there.
The hope is that it is handled without bias or hate and is treated fairly and without judgement.
Shin' basically just took the words right of my mouth. I'm not expecting it to be excluded, and on the basis that the Wiki is based on factual information it should be included, but on that same basis it should be free of bias and hatred. In that respect, if information on Tneil's scandal makes up most of that article, then believe me, I will ensure that the information about Tneil, our clan founder, our friend, and the friend of so many others will dwarf it. After all, the scandal did not define his existence or presence on this board; his companionship, his well-wishes, good thoughts, support and comfort did. That is why the he was as popular as he was, and that (along with another factor discussed by Shin' earlier) was why anyone even cared about the scandal.

For give my bluntness, but a lot of people flocked to him, because they thought he had a ******.
In my opinion, making a friend, pretending to be nice to them, and pretending to care about them or what they say, all because you think they're a girl and/or because you hold an interest of attracting them and drawing them into the idea of having a romantic (or, more appallingly, a sexual relationship), is not only disgusting and dishonest, it is wrong. You may counter that everyone does it, but that does nothing to make it right. That said, all of those who "flocked to him because they thought he had a ******" and not because he was a person were as wrong as Tneil was for lying about his gender.
Aside from drinking myself stupid and missing a day of work as a result...it was. The gaming and time with friends was great.
People are at nature animals...with the difference we can make a choice.
You beat a dog once, and it doesn't matter how many times you fed it or petted it our walked it, it will generally remember and react to the beating first. This is good because in nature it will save the dog from being hurt again.
Ask a person how his day was, and they may tell you it was awful. they may have seen all sorts of beauty and spent great times with friends. At some time during the day something negative happens. Someone could have cut that person off in traffic. The whole day can be ruined.
Tneil made a mistake that hurt some people pretty badly, herself most of all I would imagine from talking to her. Instantly all the good before hand is forgotten. As human beings we have a choice as to whether one bad thing spoils the whole. While it is important to remember the bad, we gain the most from celebrating the good. Negative leads to negative and vice versa.
To dwell on the negatives people do does not help them, does not help you, and does not help the people around you. I am not saying it is not a good thing to warn people if some guy they are hanging with has stolen from you or whatever, just saying you shouldn't let that one action stain any other memory you have of that person.
As to Tneils popularity being based un her assumed gender, that says more about the members of the forum than it does about her. Back to the dog analogy again.
Again, my biggest problems with Tneill is that he did this crap since I knew him, shortly after he joined the forums. What's worse, he did this to my clan. Then, when I voice my opposition to him, I was essentially chased out of my clan. I don't neccesarily hold a grudge against him, but Dimir was like a family to me. Then, Tneill just came in and purged me from it. Add on the fact that I, persoally, have never had an apaology from him, and that wound is one that just won't scab over.
I agree with you guys, the people that flocked to him were definantly in the wrong. It just shows how immature some people are, including my ex-clanmates. I have no problem with you guys wanting to put in the stuff about what Tneill did for you, but I'll be damned if all the crap he perpetrated is shoved in a corner simply because it didn't have an impact on you guys. it did for me, and just as I respect that you guys want him not to get torn apart, I want you to respect that he should be held accountable for what he did. I believe that the article should be about fifty-fifty good, and bad.
Perhaps you should enlighten us on what happened. How did Tneil get you purged from your Clan. This is something which I am missing somehow.
Also, if you like I can talk to Tneil and forward your email. She is very sorry for everything, and I am sure will email you back.
By the way, you are aalways welcome here Yokura. As a passerby, friend, and even member.
Oh, I am happy in my own clan, thanks. But thanks or the welcome.
Back when I was in Dimir, Tneill joined, and about a month later, he said he was a she. He did his thing behind the scenes, and when I called him out, I was *****ed out by the people I though where my friends. I was told to either apologize, and rescind my remarks, or leave, so I left.
As far as contacting him, I do not hide my e-mail. I will not make the first step. If he's really sorry, he'll contact me. If not, then my opinion of him stands, and it's no skin off of my back.
That still seems kind of vague. So before she said she was a she, was she known as a he? If yes, was this because she said so or because it was assumed?
And how did you call her out on it?
I know here at [VOGUE] if a male member viewed themselves as female and wished to be seen as one, we would accept that openly.
He started off saying he was a gay guy. There was no problem, and then he said he was a girl. Again, no problem. Then he started his...affairs. Again, no problem. But he didn't let my clan mates, the majority of his participants know. This is where the problem started. Then he lied his ass off. I'm sorry, but if you're going to do something like that, you should be able to own up to it. I can't stand lying.
I never knew he started off here as a guy. Things make more sense then.
My emails from Tneil indicate that she is actually a she, but was pretending to be a guy. I was confused by that because I didn't realize she started on the forum as a guy.
I can understand why she did that. Back in the day when I used to edit for Mugen, my best friend whom I met on the forum, posted online as a guy (because she didn't want to be riduled for being a female gamer...even more of a rarity at the time than now). It actually was not until three years later that she came out with the truth.
Though it seems obvious Tneil does have some issues. At least she seems to be accepting that she does.
I am going to email her tonite and ask her about that.
As far as the apology to you Yokura...it is possible it has not passed her mind to apologize to you directly. She tried to return, but when she was talking to the Mods about it they ignored her and just rebanned her.
I told her nobody would believe that, and she probably shouldn't bother telling the Mods that part when she talks to them. Now that I know she started here as a gay man, I can understand and believe it more...makes more sense.
She came back under the name Ashe. She talked only to myself and the mods, and made one post in the artwork thread.
"I'm never coming back!!!" Well duh she said that, she was both mad and scared about everything. But ultimately she misses everyone.
We have a due date on the clan contest. It is going to be February 15th I believe. I already posted something. Hopefully we can get a few more pics in within a week so Shin' will have time to work with them.

Not sure what to tell you about myself which you don't already know...but I can post my pic I am going to be using for the clan contest. We still need one more pic though...preferably more.
Wow, nice hair Shin'. o_o; I'm trying to grow my hair out right now, but it's curly, so.. it's frustrating because it goes out instead of down. Stupid Hispanic hair. But me and my girlfriend are going to straighten it this weekend, so my parents don't jump down my throat trying to get me to cut it. If it's straight it looks much more tame.

You should put one of the pictures he claimed was him, just for laughs and giggles.
I will introduce myself first though.
