Call me old fashioned, but an evil ascension to power just isn't the same without someone chanting faux Latin in the background.

Nahh you are just sadistic...which is obvious because any woman that wears pumps is into sadomasochistic gratification as far as i know :p....note i said woman so that should hip you up enough to whip Alacar as good as Crovax does to Squee

Ah, and it's great having a spare now. I dropped chem (bio is my science) aso now I have a spare. An hour and a half to do whatever the hell i want during school now
Also, I have a bit of a "deep" question to ask you guys...
Do you think that moral and ethical decisions should be made using logic, or with emotion?
A recent book entitled “Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell offers that morals and decisions are based off of emotion and impulse. In a counter, Michael LeGault wrote “Think!”, insisting that decisions and moral beliefs should instead be based upon rational thought rather than gut feeling. Both offer insights into how and why we make decisions based on ethics, but more importantly, they examine how we arrive at those beliefs. While some people are driven by emotion and a sense of self gratification, other’s ethics may encourage them, by using rational thought and deliberation, to think about other less egocentric pursuits. The conflict that arises between the books parallel our own struggles as we attempt to balance what feels right and what is logically sound.
So... what is your opinion?
And they're both idiots for saying its mostly one way or the other. Anyone with life experience knows that there needs to be a balance of both in the moral and ethical decisions you make because they will effect the people around you not to mention yourself. So you need to stay smart about those decisions but also keep the people you care about from hating you (too much).
I start tomorrow at 10 (booo, getting up earlier) but it is only until friday, it is training) My actual schedule starts at 12:30 (Yay, sleeping in!!!!)
Not sure what my pay is going to be though, I will let you know when I find that out.
The responsibilty I am getting is massive. An example of what a TCO/Case manager can do; If a company orders $100,000 worth of custom built computers/printers and they all are lemons or we get the order wrong or whatever reason...I can buy them all back and send out new units. If for some reason our computer running on a network is believed by a customer to have caused all the non-HP computers on a customers network and the customer firmly believes that it is our fault, I can send him an office-full of HP computers (Even though it is pretty much impossible that our printer on his network did this, but peoplem are stupid)
Statistics:
% of HP customers who will need tech support ; 1.5
% of these customers who will need/want to talk to a superviser ; 2.0
% of these customers that will need to go to a TCO/Case Manager ; 1.0
My job is to clean up the mess of that 0.0003%, as well as the corporate and specialty stuff that does not get handled by frontline agents. I also track known issues to help the engineers find solutions for trouble issues.
Of all the positions in the building, mine is the closest as working directly for HP as you can get.
TCO's often fill in for Team Leads/Supervisors or any other in a pinch when they need time off for whatever reason. They also fill in for training, or whatever other responsibility position needs it.

Amen. I was going to say exactly the same thing myself, but just didn't feel like posting. I don't feel much like posting in the 'house these days in general, though, so yeah.

@ stuff
next week is the final week of hte show
please!!!!!
Ah, I see. Well, congrats once again then. But don't get your hopes too high for Lucky Star. I gave you Haruhi. Be appeased, and realize that Lucky Star is just one fish in the vast ocean of anime. I'd do it if it wasn't already in the spring guide, but it was, so... :-/.
Mr Stuff: sorry you had such a bad anicon experience... well sometimes this happens i guess... cheer up
Nah, it wasn't all that bad. The dealer's room sucked, but I took over the video room and showed Potemayo, and I got to hang out with my friends, so it was alright.
@Sakura: Congrats! Enjoy not being just another peon at work, and I'm sure it comes with a bigger salary as well. Now, if only I could find something for myself... Ah well. I'm sure it'll come, eventually.
Today, a number of things were released that improve my day. Firstly, three episodes of the long-delayed Bokurano, and Lucky Star #20 and Seirei #21. Secondly, a compilation of previews for all the new fall shows was released, and I'm excited to take a gander at some of the new stuff I'll be watching weekly this fall.
Sorry, SS. It's live-action, although it has an animated opening done by Gonzo. Interesting trivia: a fictional anime within this show was actually made into a real anime after this show came out. Nifty, eh?
(and if you're really hardcore, you'll know what it is now)
Alright, I'm off to home. I've got lots of good stuff to watch now, so I'll be content for a while.
All I can think of is Evangelion or Martian Successor Nadesico, but I doubt there was ever a live action version of the latter.
I saw a manga I think I want to pick up a while ago, but I didn't have the money at the time. It's called Inubaka (trans: Crazy for dogs), and it's a kind of light humor story about a girl who goes to work at a pet store in her neighborhood and gets into all kinds of whacky sitcom-like plot arcs through that. Kind of like Antique Bakery, only with dogs. Needless to say that really piqued my interest.
EDIT: Also...OMG. I saw that the other day and it's just...too damn cute. I get a short circuit every time I watch it ^___^;;
Sakura, play Drake Familiar it'll make you opp. very mad when you return Reality Acid too your hand with it. (I know I got mad when it happened too me)
Ah, and it's great having a spare now. I dropped chem (bio is my science) aso now I have a spare. An hour and a half to do whatever the hell i want during school now
AUGH! I hate you! We're not allowed to do that at my school. You have to fill every block of every quarter with something. It's horrible. So you get seniors who have 8 more credits than they need to graduate, and they're required to waste their time in some class such as cooking or sewing (if they don't like those classes, but at our school no one does because the teacher's terrible) and possibly lower their gpa (although I doubt anyone realizes this is a problem at the time that they're forced into the class).
EDIT: Hm, my response went a little longer than I expected. It almost turned into a rant ;).

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.

Best wishes to your grandfather Sepiriel.
Also, if you need help making a 14th level character, gimme a shout.
Do you think that moral and ethical decisions should be made using logic, or with emotion?
That's like asking me 'Do you make a PB&J with Peanut Butter, or Jelly?' The answer is 'Yes.' It really all depends on the situation. If you use both, you'll be better off for it.
I love you sweety. You are definately a priorty in my life.
Hey Lilly Mainly they are there for the vanishing stuff and the Decree of Silence, The Dark Depths are there because itd be stupid not to run it with this deck.

I'm going to try to get AotW back to Tuesday, so it may be up tomorrow. I'll try to add lots of extra special stuff to this one, 'cause it's good.

The idea is to abuse Vanishing counters with Power Conduit or Aether Snap.
4x Lost Auramancers
2x Vesuvan Shapeshifter
4x Reality Acid
4x Aether Snap
4x Power Conduit
1x Chisei, Heart of Oceans
3x Decree of Silence
2x Crucible of Worlds
4x Mind Stone
1x Dark Depths
2x Tolaria West
4x Flooded Strand
3x Godless Shrine
3x Watery Grave
3x Hallowed Fountain
4x Cloudpost
4x Vesuva
STalkers are like tanks vs Aggro.

Huzzah!
So.. where's my money? I don't wanna pimp slap nobody..
I'm trying to build a G/B deck using Platinum Angel and Phage the Untouchable. Either by reanimating with Dread Return and/or using Elvish Piper. Then somehow making Phage unblockable (Whispersilk Cloak springs to mind..)

They replaced one of my daily Simpsons episodes with Family Guy. I'm seriously getting sick of this show. It's only occasionally funny.
