Happy belated birthday Stuffy! It sounds like you had a good one and got a lot of cool stuff in the process. And by the way 304+ is a lot of DVD's. I don't know if I have the most in the Coffeehouse anymore. =[ MUST PURCHASE MORE BOX SETS!!!
ANNNNNDDDDD Happy early birthday to Sakura. I'll wish you one tomorrow but I feel like saying it twice!
And for those of you wondering where I've been the past two and a half days I was in Boston looking at BU. It was a nice school in a very nice part of the city. Plus they have the program that I am looking for. Very good candidate for Evan!
The consensus is that it is really good Hunter. Its funny. Generally all the Fanboy movies that come out, everyone is excited about them. Once they see them, even when the movie is a blockbuster the fans all whine and complain that it is disapointing and they changed way to much from the original source. Transformers is the opposite. Everyone whined while it was being made that they were changing it too much. Now apparantly everyone loves it and thinks it is pretty close to perfect.
Nice analysis there Sakura-chan. With that Ill be watching it this week.
the highlight of today was an AWESOME roasted Tilapia,.
Ahh. Tilapia. My favorite fish of all time. I like it Roasted, fried, steamed, even in Filipino dishes like Sinigang and Sarciado. If its roasted/ fried or steamed, nothing beats it when it is dipped into some soy sauce with calamansi(from the lemon family)
Happy birthday to Sakura and Mr. Stuff. It's good to see so many birthdays so close together. Sorry I haven't been on much in what I think is two days now, but I bought a new game yesterday called Gothic 3. It's great.

Hey guys just dropped by. I dont know if Im like noob to youtube but have you guys seen this video? Its really a romantic thing to do. Its a great video. The girl is cute too but it made me sad...really..
The premonitions, the picture..Thats why its called "kiss"
I really wasn't impressed by the trailers for the Transformers movie, but then lots of people have said that it's better than it looks from there. Maybe I'll give it a shot at some point.[/quote]
I haven't really watched any trailers for it, but originally, when I saw the commercial, I was against it. I guess I was so used to the cartoon version of it. But now, I think its starting to grow on me. I don't get out to the movies much, but I'd definitely watch it.

Tilapia is good, and I'm not really into seafood. I'm not sure how its usually cooked here, but its still not too bad. I even throw on some lemon juice for a little extra flavor.
Ah, I love my day off. Especially the weekend, since I get a chance to hang out and talk with my Dad. That doesn't really happen alot since I work late. Also, I get a chance to watch some TV I wouldn't normally. I like to watch The Next Food Network Star. I like that kind of reality because its not about something stupid like singing or dancing.
Anyway, I'm probably going to see about doing some much needed laundry, so I'll see ya later!
@Evan:
Yeah, it is a lot, but around 40% of them are DVD+Rs which contain fansubs I downloaded myself. A like so...
Speaking of fansubs, two of the really good shows I was watching, Gurren-Lagann (in my sig) and Darker Than Black just got licensed. This was just announced at Anime Expo. ADV licensed Devil May Cry and Gurren-Lagann, and Funimation licensed Darker Than Black. What this usually means is that all but a select few fansub groups drop those series like a rock. I hope I can still continue to get my Gurren-Lagann fix.
@mamelon: i wouldnt mind sharing any of my stuff with you mamelon.
Well sorry i havent been posting in here lately ive been pretty busy with work as usual and my internet seems to get wacky sometimes so i can't stay online for long peroids of time hopefully it will be able to calm down soon. Anyway have a great week starting from tommorrow everyone! See you all soon! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*

Just dropped by to say hi and a happy birthday to again to the three of you.
Well my day was fine. Nothing much to say.
The ice cream vendor near our school decided to have fun. A different color for each flavor. For example, mocha flavor was color green, chocolate in orange, and other weird stuff. Well he got a large profit today i think since many kids were curious and amazed at the new marketing strategy of the vendor..^_^
Eh, I don't mind it so much, given that I already pseudo-celebrated on Saturday. However... *coughAlacarcough* It'd be nice if some people read the thread a little more carefully.
Time to head back to work... I'm on break right now. Much partying, etc (read: watching the stuff I got on Saturday) when I get home in three hours.
Also, orange chocolate ice-cream sounds just weird enough that I'd like it.
Sigh. I apologize, Mr. Stuff. I haven't been on the House as much as I used to be, and that is no excuse for my rudeness. *Alacar falls on hands and knees and bows low until his nose hits the floor Forgive me. I do not expect you to. Or at least Photon Eater to.
Anyway, happy birthday.
Now I'm off to enjoy my time off until work tonight. Regular of the Week coming sometime today as well.

Hey, no hard feelings. I was just a little curious about Omna's post before yours as well; I thought you might have seen that and thought mine was tomorrow or something:
Happy Birthday to Sakura, as its today (east coast)... and happy b-day again to Phantom Ronan, and happy upcoming birthday to Mr.Stuff!!
Just so there's no more confusion:
Phantom Ronan's birthday was on Saturday. My birthday is today. Sakura's Birthday is also today.
I celebrated my birthday a little bit early on Saturday because I had work Sunday and today. I still plan on doing a little more celebrating today though - namely starting a "Magic Knight Rayearth"-fest, since I got the first 49 episodes on Saturday. Perhaps my mother will surprise me with a cake, since I didn't get one on Saturday. I beat Prince of Persia: Rival Swords last night, so I'm pretty happy with that as well, and depending on what I find when I check my e-mail (EDIT: SEE NEXT POST!), I may be happier still. Not much is capable of getting me down today.
Oh, hey, and I almost forgot to mention I got an inbound call from Japan today! I thought that was awesome. This lady (Ms. Inokato, I believe) called BH Ministries from Yokohama in Kanagawa prefecture.
How amazingly awesome is this for a birthday present?
Dear Mr. Plants,
Thank you very much for applying to teach English in Japan with Nova. We would like to invite you to interview with us at our Chicago office.

The Nova interview is a one-day process consisting of a group information session followed by individual interviews. The information session will begin at 9:00 am and go to approximately 11:00 am. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late arrivals. The purpose of the information session is to give you a clear picture of the living and working conditions in Japan and with Nova, and to answer any questions you might have about this opportunity. Please review our website and prepare any questions you might have. Business attire is required.

*dances* *twice*
Hoo, there's no stoppin' me today. This is the happiest I've been in a long time.
LD, I'm going to see Transformers tomorrow, but I'll be sure not to spoil it for ya. Hehe. I'll probably like it no matter whether it's good or not.
Woah!! Congratulations to Mr. Stuff on the incredible job opportunity... When are you going to go up to Chicago for that??? Maybe I missed the date!
About the birthday hullaballoo, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MR.STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great birthday gift to receive on your b-day, a job opportunity! I hope my birthdya in October is going to reap the same rewards, as I'm going to be actively searching for a job around that time too! Will you be able to get the day off for that interview?? I dearly hope so!!
Sakura, I've already said it, but once again, happy birthday!!
I'm going to go let my mom use my computer for applying for unemployment (she has 5 weeks off from work this summer, yay, get to spend more time w/ her!!)
I have to figure out how to write business reports, and then write one today for class, I want to get it DONE with today, so that I don't need to deal with it later this week (its due on Thursday) because I want to be able to focus on my senior thesis the rest of this week... over the weekend, I'll be working on my midterm for my online class... Oy, this is making me more busy than I wanted to be, but oh well This month is going to be crazy, but it'll be fun..... i've got:
1) Business report to write
2) 4th of July
3) Harry Potter movie on midnight of the 10th/11th
4) Midterm due on the 11th
5) Day trip to Crater Lake at some point, probably next Sunday
6) Wedding to go to in Washington state on July 14th
7) Work on Thesis
8) Harry Potter book comes out July 20th, am gonna be at the midnight release
9) Thesis Part 2 due July 25th
10) Every Wednesday in July, an assignment due, after the midterm
11) July 28th, Retirement party BBQ for my teacher who's retiring
Whew.. That's my month of July in short... O.O
I need to get off, Mom needs to use the computer... Later folks!!
Oh.. well.. *Alacar runs off to make a thread.. and sees Mamelon has already Whoopsie! Sorry bout that. Sorry, I rushed for Sakura's cuz.. well.. she and I are closer friends, I guess. Anyways, CONGRATS on the letter! *dances*
I need to get working on Regular of the Week. Anyone wanna do them from now on after this one for last week? I've been slow to post on the House recently.
I just wanna drop a quick happy b-day to Mr. Stuff. And seriously - what an awesome b-day present you get in the interview notice! Good luck with it when it rolls around!
Also, H-B-Day to both Sakura and a belated one to Phantom Ronan.
@LittleD: There's a spoiler rule in effect for stuff like that so I don't think you'll find much out about it aside from reviews.
Also, while on somewhat of the same topic - Live Free or Die Hard kicked ass! I love me a good action flick...
Also, how many people here are gonna catch some fireworks for the 4th in your local towns (assuming you live in the US)... or already did for Canada Day, that is? I wanna catch my town's but I dunno when it's gonna be or if it's gonna be at all now. Haven't heard NUTTIN about it and frankly its disappointing.
Now off to go deal with some errands. First time in a while to do them but it's a nice day so I'm not minding it so much either.
This year's 4th just happens to coincide with my day off, so I'll most definitely be in town checking out the fireworks. I live near the Ohio/WV border, so the show they put on is at the riverfront. We sit on the big hill that fronts the Ohio River and watch them launch the fireworks from the West Virginia side. There are always lots people in boats out on the water watching them, too.
I don't know if I said it in this thread (I did in the other birthday thread), but happy B-day once again, Sakura. Hope you're doin' alright, since we haven't heard from ya today.
As for the interview, Nova wants me to call them and work out a time. I'll have to go to Chicago, which is quite some ways from my corner of Ohio. I'll work it out somehow, though. I'm just glad they sent the invitation from the Chicago office, because the next closest office (and the one to which I applied) is in Boston, which is even further away.
CA, you just gave me the idea of going to see Die Hard tonight. Kudos.
Well, now I'm off to the BMV to get my plates renewed. Birthdays do have some disadvantages, I guess. :-P It's a good thing they're open late tonight, or I wouldn't have made it.
