There is a difference between the gerbel and the person living in Twin Pea...errr...Oaks. You can leave whenever you wish, and you chosse to be there. It never said their is no violence, it would be ignorant to assume it never happens. They just say their have been no violent crimes. Violence is part of human nature, it will happen. But knowing you are living somewhere where the kind of violence which would be classified a crime has never happenned...that is beautiful. They still have other crimes as well, so no doubt theft still happens. And they have internet and movies.
The idea is you work out of pride for the community, not to fight to feed yourself.

Hello everyone just got back from work. Im pretty tired worked 7.5 hours today. I am not sure if i will be able to play round 5 unfortunetly because when i get to play my opponent is unavailable. He only can play in the mornings and its like the total opposite for me so i send a message to lesurgo about it hopefully i can get something to work out because i really want to play the remaining rounds.

That is great that your not having problems with your connection hopefully it stays like that as well. Also hunter i hope i will be able to play round 5 in time because when im available to play it seems that my opponent isnt and vice versa. I posted about it in the standard tournament thread and hopefully lesurgo can work things out. I really want to play the remaining rounds since i still have a chance at making top 8.

This is turning out to be a bit of a rough week. It hasn't been truly bad, really, just very bumpy.
Today when I got to work, the computer system was down, including all the registers. It was trying and we had to record and calculate everything manually. I guess they'd been working on it all morning, as there was a lot of work that wasn't done. It did eventually get fixed around noon, which was just in time.
The general manager was there, and oddly enough, she seemed to be in a good mood. She got another phone call today, which was a complaint. I held my breath the entire time, but she didn't even seem upset by it. She even thanked the manager-in-charge (a 21 year old boy I work with pretty frequently, he's anice guy) for being so awesome and doing everything right (almost her exact words).
My brother who works there was a bit incensed by all the recent drama, and since he's wanted to switch jobs for a while, he applied somewhere else yesterday. According to what he said, the place is hiring and he might get the job. To be honest, I was kind of upset by that. I remember how hard I looked for work and couldn't find any, and now all the places in town are hiring? I wouldn't begrudge him getting hired, but it's frustrating when things work out that way. Part of was that all yesterday and this morning I felt very worried about things possibly getting unstable again. But I feel better after a nice, normal day of work (well, close to it, anyway).
Later, I got sexually harrassed by a customer. There's a woman I see sometimes outside of work (I think she's a friend of the cab driver that takes me to work), who came in for lunch today and made a bit of a scene. She seemed like she was high, or intoxicated in some way. She continually badgered me about hiring her, and wouldn't hear my explanation that I couldn't comfirm or deny the possibility of her employment there, that'd she have to apply like everyone else. After I appeared to lose interest in her pleas, she ordered an extravagant amount of food with very specific requests (seriously, she wanted items with like double the normal ingredients, prepared and arranged in various unorthodox ways), then started begging me to give her some stuff for free. When I wouldn't respond to that, she started coming on to me in a vulgar fashion, flashing her breasts and rubbing them up against the counter, making obscene comments about me, and saying that we should "go out sometime." I gave her a discouraging look and a clear response: "No. Never." That didn't suffice for her, as she kept making slurred insinuations about me, such as "You like that, dontcha sweetie?" and others I won't repeat, both because they're inappropriate and because I'm not that interested in reliving it.
I kept prompting her to stop it and just finish her business, which she finally did. As if that weren't bad enough, when my brother gave her the food, she started hitting on him. I snapped at her and told her to back off. I was very close to just telling her to leave.
It made me extremely uncomfortable and upset, so I told the assisstant manager about it when she got back. She said she thought I'd handled it well, and that if she continued acting up she'd do something about it. Needless to say, I was angry and shaken up for a little while. Even had I been attracted to women, and even had I found her attractive specifically(both of which are big conditionals, since neither is even remotely true), I still would have found that behavior to be offensive, degrading, disrespectful, and repulsive. That is way past the line of my personal boundaries, and probably those of most people. And one thing I especially do not take to kindly is people presuming to seize liberties like that.
Well, all in all, the day wasn't really bad except for that. Even though I ended up sleeping the afternoon away. But tomorrow involves some kind of corporate auditor, which will probably be fun, and Joshua's schedule is all out of whack for this week. Things have just been a little out of the ordinary.
I want to catch up with the rest of the 'House, which I'll probably do in a little bit. Just wanted to get that off of my chest.

Hi everyone. I'm sorry I haven't been around much. I've been spending my free time working on my character for Photon's new game and haven't been able to check around the forums.
