Anyway, work stinks as usual, but at least I get paid tomorrow. I'd probably pick up Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow this weekend, but I'll probably still be playing Mario Kart and Contact. I also REALLY need to get back to playing Tales of Symphonia, but with work and everything else, I haven't had to chance to play it...let alone anything else like PCL.

Well, tonight we played a session using my True20 Mod rules. True20 is a fairly new RP system developed by Green Ronin, based off of the core d20 system (D&D, d20 Modern, etc.). True20 is called such because the system only ever involves a d20 roll, no d6, d8, d4, d10, so forth. The basic system uses wounds and similar systems, though I made up HP rules for my Modification. The True20 system is very cool because it has a lot of what I call building blocks. I spent a lot of time developing my own classes and some custom rules, so I was anxious to see how it turned out. It seemed to go over better than I expected, and it was fun. So I feel pretty good about that.

Gawd, I'm feeling so inspired this evening. I've had this freaking job for 10 months, and I finally told the boss I'm leaving in two weeks. I came home and exercised outside (an activity I used to enjoy a lot) for the first time in ages. My greatest asset is and has always been my mind, and it was utterly, utterly wasted at this job. Now I just have to sit down and seriously, seriously hit the job hunting. But, whew. I needed to get out of there, and bad. It feels so good.

Also, we're not barging in on anyone's business. When someone posts asking for opinions, you can't turn around and tell those that gave their opinions to stop being nosy. Either they want opinions, or they don't. The latter is better achieved by not asking for them.
I know this event has passed, but I bit my tongue earlier on it. I’m sure what I’m going to say may still upset some but so be it. I’m by no means an expert on major transitions of any sort in life, but it seems like this is going to the extreme. Everything can’t just be thrown away like stale cereal. While it was later explained that Doug was supposedly the suspect rather than the victim, it’s not just this incident I’ve noticed it in. I tried to brush it over before but it seems like something that should be checked on. Life and its decisions are quite serious and should not be just tossed aside like it’s no big deal. When something happens, learn and grow from it. This whole ‘oh well’ attitude just seems like it will lead to a big disaster down the line, probably sooner rather than later. It’s a spiraling roller coaster that is about to veer off the track. I seriously hope one can look back and see this. It worries me because I’ve witnessed it happen to others who can no longer repair the damage. Please put a stop to it. I do realize this particular incident was a matter of privacy, feedback, and non-acceptance but many other instances have happened. I’ve waited until now because I did hope they would stop soon, but obviously that’s not happening and I can’t bite my tongue any longer. I’m not one to just sit back and watch an acquaintance go down a troubles path without at least attempting to give input.
Okay, I seriously need to stop commenting and finish the soap, because it is getting late, and I want to be able to snuggle with Josh and evolve my umbreon before bedtime.

So portuñol is like the Portuguese-Spanish version of Spainglish? I have noticed the similarities between Portuguese and Spanish easily. I took a little over a year of Spanish in schooling, so I know the very basics. When translating to English, the roots are sometimes easy to pick up. With all that being said, there is a gentleman at work who was born and raised in Brazil and has recently moved here. He asks me to ship stuff for him all the time and the addresses are normally in Portuguese. I used my basic Spanish to figure out which order the information went on for the shipping documents. I completely failed to realize it was Portuguese until I didn’t understand the one line. In Brazil, they list their community in their address instead of just street and city. (Please correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s what Luiz told me). So I went into his office to ask him and he explained it. I finished the form and he looked at me and said, ‘oh you don’t speak Portuguese or Spanish?’ I think knowing just that would help but knowing portuñol would be fantastic. Thanks for the link.

I’m a sucker for good work stories. Nothing thrilling happens at my job. I think the biggest laugh we’ve had so far is when a particular government entity told me they don’t have a bank account but listed two banks that they use for wire transfers. That’s truly how sad it is. Honestly, do the banks just throw their money in a massive fault for them to swim in or what? And where does the money get wired to if there is no number?

This made me laugh tremendously for a very ironic(?) reason. I was watching a game show rerun the other night for one of the Password games and the girl absolutely could not get the clue. The word was goulashes, similar to Wellingtons I think. In the end they tried telling her again and she was from somewhere in Texas and never had a need for them. I just laughed.
On another note: is anyone else here a fan of 28 Days Later? Did you guys see the trailer for the sequel, 28 Weeks Later? I was kinda skeptical, since 28 Days doesn't really need a sequel, but the trailer managed to get me excited (especially with the Muse song in the background :jam:).
I liked 28 Days Later and I saw the 28 Weeks Later trailer during the pre-movie ads for Hot Fuzz. I think this will be one of the next Midnight Movie Dates. My best friend and her fiancé invited me to go see a midnight movie once and we’ve been going every other Saturday night since then. We try to get a few others to go but they’re too chicken at that time of night. It’s a great time because the movies are generally cheaper and the theater isn’t too crowded so there aren’t annoying twits talking the whole time.

Hey Coffeehouse regs... Sorry didn't go online this morning/evening. Went to nursery school and to work (still at work) and I'm going to log out and go to Spanish classes.
My badminton classes were canceled because my coach's mom is in the hospital due to a mild stroke. I was able to sleep for a few more hours, then I went to school and taught the class how to wiggle their feet and teaching them a little spanish and japanese. Meh, hard to teach kids but it sure is fun to be responsible to little kids.
Went to work and had lunch with my mom afterwards. As usual she was nagging at me; all the more I want to go to school and just stay away from her. I worked, played RPG and talked to a friend of mine who has a problem.
I've been having calls from people who have problems, and later on their parents are giving me cash, which is weird. I give the money back politely because I don't really need it. I smiled at them and politely said that there are more people who need money.
Going to Spanish class, but before that I will have dinner with my classmates in Chowking! It's the best place to get cheap Chinese dinner. Well, GTG now guys! Have fun

I need ideas for a mother's day card. I want my mom to be really surprised (yes, even though she's annoying me 24/7, she's still my mom and I love her)
I had horrible food poisoning once. I was traveling around, and had just left Africa into Spain. As soon as I arrived, I went to a friends place and then got voilently ill out of nowhere. They took me to the hospital and gave me some medicine. I then spent like 2 days near passed out and could only drink water. I don't remember much other then just laying in bed and listening to the sounds of the city. I got better after that, but it sucked.
@Myta - I don't know about a mother's day card. My mom loves Iris', and I was thinking of doing a little watercolor painting and making it into a framable card.
I duno though. I have a stomach virus now. My tummy is just brumbling and I don't really feel like doing much of anything. My sleep schedual is really messed up too.

That is what I have been looking at and after a downpayment of about £2-3000 ($6000 ish) I would then be up for 36 Monthly payments of about £420 ($840). We get fleeced for cars in the UK so this isn't wonderfully expensive whilst it kinda still is.
What do people think?

No, I only bought three. I just got my third Gym badge. I only have something like 7,000 P.
Also, make sure you are ONLY FIGHTING GASTLYS as otherwise you will get EV points all mangled in with the others.
Have you been recording them with a pen/paper or something? I spent around 3 hours last night searching for Shinxes and Starlys to get mine up to 252, 252, 6 on my Weavile in Atk, Spd and HP respectively.
This was a chore, especially after I thought I had maxed them, only to find I hadn't equipped the Bloody Macho Brace ¬.¬
Do you have that equipped to your Ralts? Or does it have the Poke'rus?
I don't have the Macho Brace, nor do I know where to find it. Keep in mind, of course, that I'm very early in the game.
Thanks for the advice, though. Fighting the Gastlies seems to have helped.
Mamelon - As the first Pokemon in a series of three, Ralts has very low natural stats. (28 HP, 25 Attack, 25 Defense, 45 SpAtk, 35 SpDef, and 40 Speed.) This means that as it levels up, it won't gain much at each level. Its stats will increase substantially when it evolves into Kirlia, and even more so when it evolves again. (Gardevoir is 68/65/65/125/115/80, Gallade is 68/125/65/65/115/80.)
Your pokemons' stats will be the same whether you hold off evolution or not; only the time when moves are learned is affected.
This is making sense to me now. My Ralts started getting stronger as Kirlia, getting +3 to Sp. Atk and so forth every level, and then when he turned into a Gardevoir, it jumped up by like 44 points. Now I'm starting to see why Gardevoir is considered to be so powerful.
It was funny though, because I had trouble getting him to cooperate during the gym battle, because his level got so high fighting those Gastlies.
@ Joyd: You may also want to clarify that Gardevoir is the one with the higher Sp. Atk and Sp. def, whereas Gallade get better Atk and Def.
I realize that, as Gallade is a swordsman Pokémon. I fully intend on having both a Gardevoir and a Gallade in my final lineup. Too bad you can't have female Gallades.
Oh, well. I'm sort of swimming in male Pokémon, anyway, for some reason.

I think its some kind of Spyware, and Im annoyed that maybe it registers at the start of booting and my SPybot cant permanently keep it out of my system..Geez..My programs are always updated but oh well. Do you have a DS though? If you do, I strongly suggest you pick a copy of either version up (I recommend Pearl... cause I have it ok? :p) because it is IMO the best one yet.

No, I don't have a DS I can't afford it now. Money is very tight for me these days. I need to buy a new guitar amp as well, so that's the first priority for when I have extra money to throw around. I've actually never played a pokemon game. I've never had the correct system for it! All I have right now is a PS2.

Late on the train again I finally decided to start Pokemon Diamond. Already at Oreburg ready to get past the first gym leader and got four Pokemon to work with Monferno (I dunno why I always choose the fire-type starter), Geodude, Starly, and a Shinx... also got a Bidoof (heretofore known as Pimple Gopher) that I plan to never use. Working on getting a Machop to make short work of the first gym as well... Can't wait till I get my Wi-Fi now tho...

Normally I'm not one to get headaches.. last night Ryan left at around 3am... Really, a lot of it kind of started off badly.. it wasn't until the last hour that we were at peace and stuff.. I just hate it when we have nights like that... Both of us are doing our best to just put it behind us and enjoy the good times the next time we see each other will bring

I know this event has passed, but I bit my tongue earlier on it. I’m sure what I’m going to say may still upset some but so be it. I’m by no means an expert on major transitions of any sort in life, but it seems like this is going to the extreme. Everything can’t just be thrown away like stale cereal. While it was later explained that Doug was supposedly the suspect rather than the victim, it’s not just this incident I’ve noticed it in. I tried to brush it over before but it seems like something that should be checked on. Life and its decisions are quite serious and should not be just tossed aside like it’s no big deal. When something happens, learn and grow from it. This whole ‘oh well’ attitude just seems like it will lead to a big disaster down the line, probably sooner rather than later. It’s a spiraling roller coaster that is about to veer off the track. I seriously hope one can look back and see this. It worries me because I’ve witnessed it happen to others who can no longer repair the damage. Please put a stop to it. I do realize this particular incident was a matter of privacy, feedback, and non-acceptance but many other instances have happened. I’ve waited until now because I did hope they would stop soon, but obviously that’s not happening and I can’t bite my tongue any longer. I’m not one to just sit back and watch an acquaintance go down a troubles path without at least attempting to give input.

So portuñol is like the Portuguese-Spanish version of Spainglish? I have noticed the similarities between Portuguese and Spanish easily. I took a little over a year of Spanish in schooling, so I know the very basics. When translating to English, the roots are sometimes easy to pick up. With all that being said, there is a gentleman at work who was born and raised in Brazil and has recently moved here. He asks me to ship stuff for him all the time and the addresses are normally in Portuguese. I used my basic Spanish to figure out which order the information went on for the shipping documents. I completely failed to realize it was Portuguese until I didn’t understand the one line. In Brazil, they list their community in their address instead of just street and city. (Please correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s what Luiz told me). So I went into his office to ask him and he explained it. I finished the form and he looked at me and said, ‘oh you don’t speak Portuguese or Spanish?’ I think knowing just that would help but knowing portuñol would be fantastic. Thanks for the link.

I’m a sucker for good work stories. Nothing thrilling happens at my job. I think the biggest laugh we’ve had so far is when a particular government entity told me they don’t have a bank account but listed two banks that they use for wire transfers. That’s truly how sad it is. Honestly, do the banks just throw their money in a massive fault for them to swim in or what? And where does the money get wired to if there is no number?

It’s the great early summer storms with 80 degree weather Psycho. Seriously hope you did get out a bit. Tough times with the father doesn’t help when you want to enjoy the outdoors.
This made me laugh tremendously for a very ironic(?) reason. I was watching a game show rerun the other night for one of the Password games and the girl absolutely could not get the clue. The word was goulashes, similar to Wellingtons I think. In the end they tried telling her again and she was from somewhere in Texas and never had a need for them. I just laughed.
I liked 28 Days Later and I saw the 28 Weeks Later trailer during the pre-movie ads for Hot Fuzz. I think this will be one of the next Midnight Movie Dates. My best friend and her fiancé invited me to go see a midnight movie once and we’ve been going every other Saturday night since then. We try to get a few others to go but they’re too chicken at that time of night. It’s a great time because the movies are generally cheaper and the theater isn’t too crowded so there aren’t annoying twits talking the whole time.

Hunter/Emily, I do have to agree with Alacar about the posts. I understand not many people are here to respond but that's just how it goes. Try to put more content in them please. I'm normally not one to bother with it, but it's quite annoying to sift through so many posts that say hi little to no content bye. Sorry to say. It sort of seems like you're posting a lot so you can get your custom. While it is important, it's not the biggest thing in the world.
Also, Nai I will do your math survey later if you still want answers. I've taught before (including math). (Feel free to ask anything to do with that if you want to.) One thing that would really help is if you could define elementary a tad better. I went to a private school for K-8 so my definition of elementary may be a tad skewed. A few other people seemed a tad confused as well. If you could to that, it'd be great.

I always like Heath and Priscilla as a couple in FE7. I'm thinking of getting another banner in the future with Lyn and Hector. They're a very close #2.
My badminton classes were canceled because my coach's mom is in the hospital due to a mild stroke. I was able to sleep for a few more hours, then I went to school and taught the class how to wiggle their feet and teaching them a little spanish and japanese. Meh, hard to teach kids but it sure is fun to be responsible to little kids.
Went to work and had lunch with my mom afterwards. As usual she was nagging at me; all the more I want to go to school and just stay away from her. I worked, played RPG and talked to a friend of mine who has a problem.
I've been having calls from people who have problems, and later on their parents are giving me cash, which is weird. I give the money back politely because I don't really need it. I smiled at them and politely said that there are more people who need money.
Going to Spanish class, but before that I will have dinner with my classmates in Chowking! It's the best place to get cheap Chinese dinner. Well, GTG now guys! Have fun

This is making sense to me now. My Ralts started getting stronger as Kirlia, getting +3 to Sp. Atk and so forth every level, and then when he turned into a Gardevoir, it jumped up by like 44 points. Now I'm starting to see why Gardevoir is considered to be so powerful.
It was funny though, because I had trouble getting him to cooperate during the gym battle, because his level got so high fighting those Gastlies.
I realize that, as Gallade is a swordsman Pokémon. I fully intend on having both a Gardevoir and a Gallade in my final lineup. Too bad you can't have female Gallades.
Oh, well. I'm sort of swimming in male Pokémon, anyway, for some reason.
Cat people are cute. But what about the catboys? They're too adorable too ignore.

My Spybot Still detects something and Im tired of rebooting and rebooting just to remove it. Seems like my Nod32, SpywareBlaster, Spyware Guard, and Ad-Aware by LavasoftUSa cant cure this ArmadKeygen something. I think its some kind of Spyware, and Im annoyed that maybe it registers at the start of booting and my SPybot cant permanently keep it out of my system..Geez..My programs are always updated but oh well. My computer works fine but I like it super cleaned..
