I don't think a vote is necessary, but we should wait upon the circumstances and I'd also like to hear from S_C since he's the former leader, and he would also know what's best for Dimir. Contrary to Yukora's opinion, I don't think it's "dire" quite yet, but it would be nice to have some more members.
I hate to barge in on the discussion here, but I do feel I have something to add.
Over at Ghost Mafia we are far more concerned with whether or not you are willing to consider merging. The exact terms of the merger (such as clan name, leaders, allies, etc.) should be discussed only once it is clear that both clans are willing to accept a merger under conditions other than "the other clan dies and their members join our clan."
If you decide you want to remain as your own, separate clan, we respect that. However, should you agree to the principle of a merger, I believe the best course of action would be to set up a thread (probably in Testing Grounds) where we can have a civilized discussion of terms and such.
Lastly, we would like to know as soon as possible what your stance is, but given that a merger is big and this is a merger due to activity issues, we understand that it could be some time.
If you need us (meaning Ghost Mafia) to answer any questions before that point, feel free to post in our thread.
@Yukora: I agree with PurpleD that "dire" is a bit of a strong word, but a merger would certainly help.
P.S. "Unseen Mafia" seems like a really good name, but again, that's something to discuss after we have decided to discuss terms of a merger, not existence of a merger.
Anytime that the list of active member falls below the required six members, then I think we have a problem.
I could talk to my fellow Mods about whether or not you guys could make a thread in this forum about the merger. Then we could simply retire that thread when you want to start the clan, or if you decide not to.
As for the opinion of someone that has gone through such a merge, I suggest having two leaders, and one representative. Let's face it, someone from the old clan will know its members the best, and will be the most qualified to make those decisions. Plus, when trying to meld two entities together, it is often best to have two opinions at work, versus only one.
I think it would be good if we did the whole each clan keeps part of the sig stating their main alliance but also have another part of the sig stating the alliance to the merged clan. Either way if we did end up doing this and eventually we got a large amount of members could we seperate into two clans again? Finally I believe that if we did, this decsisions for the clan should be very democratic.

Honestly, if you're gonna merge, then I'd expect it to be permanent. There would be no real reason to split again, because any activity you get will be because of having two clans melded into one. And let's say you get more members. It wouldn't be fair to make them choose between which group of friends they want to be with.
As far as sig space, that's an individual's decision. It just doesn't seem healthy to state which clan you're actually alligned to. It just makes you seem defiant.
Dimir (I haven't checked the Mafia) is already down to 5 active members. The minimum is 6.
I would rather be talking about this in the Dimir thread but either way. You quit our clan, right? Were you forced to, if not would you be willing to come back to our clan bringing us up to the minimum?
THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE AN OFFICIAL RECRUIT ATTEMPT. This is just asking questions.

I would not be ok with moving from one clan to another to fix the rule. For one, I don't condone that behavior, and two, I am quite happy in the clan I am currently in.
Hello, people of the Dimir, how are you?
As the little box around this post should say, my name is Master of the Daemon Tide, and I am a member of the Ghost Mafia/Orzhov Syndicate (in fact, I suggested the name change and came up with a few of the details, but now Im bragging). And in case anyone is wondering or even cares, i am the one who started the whole merger ball rolling (I was a member of the short-lived Guildpact overclan and thought (and still think) that their predictions are coming true.)
Obviously, whether or not to merge is entirely up to you, and I don't know if it is good idea for you or not. However, I will tell you why I suggested this for our clan.
I initially joined the Orzhov Syndicate clan simply because they were new and interesting. Guildpact was coming out soon, and the clan had no requiremets for joining (important when you have a total post count of around 10 or less.) However, over the past 2 years, this clan has kept me on this site even as I stopped playing Magic. (And kept me with a consistant name, whereas in the past I made new accounts whenever I felt like I didnt like my old name. You know The Nezumi Ronin who made up the World's Worst Game? Yeah, that's me.) I found that I liked the group of people in the OS. Then, however, the RAV block ended, and slowly, but surely, the clan started to die. People just suddenly started to leave, including clan leaders. (In fact, I think me and Arch Woooh may be the only members of the clan left from the first thread. And even HE left for a while, so I think Im actually the longest-constantly-serving member of TGM/OS). Now, we're still holding up at about 6 members, but as Rav-block gets farther and farther into the past, it'll get worse, and so, I proposed the idea of a merger to try and save my clan. I hope that this merger goes ahead for the good of my clan (and if Yukora is right, for the good of yours as well).
Now, on another note, If you don't mind, I'd like to be come a friend of this clan. You guys seem like a fun bunch from what little I have (or havent, in your case) seen. I will check often and post when I have something to add. And if it does happen that we dont merge and my clan dies (though I certainly hope it doesnt), I may hope to become a member of your clan, if you will have me.
So, here's to both our clans.

Ravus, not to be a downer, but that guy, bradholly, have you even heard from him again about getting on the boards? (He's the guy that Ravus said he could get for you guys.)
And you know, when there's a slump in a guild, it is usually pretty easily solved by simply posting instead of lurking. Even if you haven't got much to say, conversations can be started by simply picking a topic.
Well, that's one hell of a can of worms to open. It's impossible to figure out what the absolute best creature in Magic is, but I'm quite partial to Silvos, Rogue Elemental, Silhana Ledgewalker, and Deranged Hemit. (yes, they're all green. I'm a green mage, sue me:p)
And come on, House Dimir! I know you guys can pull out of this posting slump.
Ravus, not to be a downer, but that guy, bradholly, have you even heard from him again about getting on the boards? (He's the guy that Ravus said he could get for you guys.)
Yeah, I don't know about him... he doesn't seem to be very interested in the online world of Magic, but then, his job involves a lot of time consumption--he's a cheese-maker (go figure, in Wisconsin...), which seems to take a lot out of him. When he isn't at work, he tends to be buying cards with his sacks of extra cash (he really keeps it in sacks).
The best creature? Maybe... Squire!!!
Maybe not... but the Deranged Hermit suggestion... even myself, being heavily red, can't fight the squirrels...

I'm pretty spike, so I actually consier the question to be fairly solved: just look at the creatures that see tournament play, and the list is obviously topped with 'tog. Never mind that I don't really like tog all that much. I just think it's good.
But I am interested in hearing other's opinions on the matter. I normally really detest large creatures - I'm kind of anti timmy, but I always was intrigued by silvos. It didn't hurt that I was getting back into the game aroud Onslaught and silvos just blew my mind.
Let me rephrase my question, and I think you have answered it mirari:
I am sorry for my lack of posts but I have been , and still am, in Japan. I will begin posting more often once I get back to Canada.
I`m quite sorry for the random off topic piece of information I am about to put but since almost all my friends are half way around the world I just need to tell some one this. I asked out a girl who happens to be two of my teachers` daughter, one of the the two teachers I despise and I threw a clock at and the other one is in Japan with me. This probably isn`t as funny as it is to me or it will be to my friends but I needed to tell someone.

You're right on the money. Though I also like Treetop Scout, Elvish Warrior, and Troll Ascetic, though the troll is a bit big to be a weenie. (He's still at his best with a warhammer)
So, what is everybodys' favorite creature types? I'm a big fan of Homarids, Squirrels, Nantuko, and most Elves. I also like the concept behing Cephalids, but most of their cards are just bad. Same deal with Nantuko.
Help has come in the form of a bit of basic algebra. I feel that it'll shed some light on your problem here.
Basically:
S + T = W
...S in this case stands for 'spam' and the T stands for 'light trolling'. And the W? That stands for 'Warning'. I love math. -- {mikeyG}
Really, you just never know who is gonna get pissed off at this kind of control.
I really like the faeries because they're loaded with extra abilities, and yet still come off as elegant. Also, they really should suck to the point of unplayability, but instead, they are quite playable.
Also, I can't stand Troll Ascetic. It's just so cheap. As for creature type, I don't think I have a favorite. I think it's an important part of the game, but I don't favor one or another.
