Well i the reason why i misunderstood because you said Ron spears at 6th place. Heh well i had a long day yesterday crimson so excuse me for misinterpreting what Faerie lord said.
Bah, it's cool, Kevin. I love the deck, and have more than I thought for it. I just need to get Animate Deads (and double check to see if I still have 4 Exhumes).
Honestly i dont appreciate people laughing at me for my mistakes i mean you dont see me laughing at people. Sorry crimson but i think thats just kind of rude and sorry I misinterpret i dont read everything closely.
Yeah im not worry about it everybody makes mistakes and nobody is perfect by any means. Thats why sometimes i dont feel i belong in the coffeehouse considering i dont think like what most people do and I get sick of people making fun of me or laughing at me i had enough of that when i was a kid.

I wasn't trying to be rude either. It's just we all make mistakes and frankly I've been laughed at more times than I can count on my fingers toes and cells in my brain combined. The key is to roll with the punches, kevin. For example, I've always turned those minor mistakes I've made into purposely funny moments.
Oh and one last note: text betrays emotion. Don't trust what you see unless you know the person really well.

Yeah i agree. Yeah all of us gets laughed at but yeah i agree with Alacar lets just drop this. Although ill be on aol if anyone wants to talk about this more with me. Im not really into turning anything i do mistake wise into something funny sorry its just not me. Its cool though and i see your point too crimson.
So I'm having some iTunes issues. First, I plugged in my iPod, and my computer didn't recognize it. Then I unplugged my external HD, then plugged in my iPod. My iPod was recognized, tried to update, but iTunes couldn't find the songs. Why? They're in the external. Then I plugged in the external and had to re-add all the songs. Then I tried to update my iPod to learn that, since I had to update iTunes, iTunes considers itself a 'new copy' and the library on the iPod, which is almost exactly the same as the current library (minus that which I was trying to get updated), isn't recognized as the same one, so I have to format the iPod and put all the music on again. GAH!
Hi peeps, just dropping in to say hi. I've been in Canada for the last week, interview went OK (not great - essay test under time limit sucks) and internet has been conking out at random so I can't even get hotmail to load. But other than that things are ok, Bahram is at work and doesnt' know I bought him 2 pair of new pants after he ripped the butt out of his only remaining pair ridig his new motorcycle (1986 BMW K75c 750cc touring bike, for those interested in such things) so we'll see how he likes his new pants in oh, about an hour.
In other news, I am still catching up on the 20 or so pages of this thread I missed since last Thurs.
*hugs Kevin* It's okay, bud. Just try to let it go.
Gladiator: I watched it once.. that was enough. I agree with Umgenni on most of it; the only thing they got right was the gruesome nature of the coliseum, even if it was a bit theatric.
Whew.. my week is done. Birthday party, here I come!
I don't dislike Guay art, but I strongly dislike it on Magic cards. I don't know if the watercolor style just doesn't translate well shrunk down to that size or what. Many of the pieces are just flatly uninteresting and static, and as Magic art improves with the passing of time (even artists that have been around a long time are often putting out better stuff as time passes, presumably partially because tools for art creation have become more sophisticated), Guay art looks more and more out of place. Don't get me wrong - Gaea's Blessing and Elvish Piper are classics that would probably make my list of top Magic art if I were feeling eclectic, and my opinon of the art has risen again after an all time low in Dissension, where two of the three art pieces were among the worst Magic art in recent memory. It's also nice to see that in TS they played to Guay's strengths (sad elves and sad faeries) rather than stretching with things like Cabal Executioner. (That's not to say that Guay shouldn't get any black/red cards - Dark Banishing looks great - but most of the best art is sad elves/faeries.)
*hugs Kevin* It's okay, bud. Just try to let it go.

Yeah dont worry alacar i forgot all about the nonsense. *hugs*
Happy birthday alacar! *hugs again*
I think im going to stay in the precon league though because it would be cool to see what the packs now contain.
'Lo everyone. I'm actually here instead of working today. Its a bit of a story as to why, so let's set the Wayback Machine to last week. Get that for me, would you, Sherman?
Ok, so last week when I was last working, I had made a mistake that cost the company $400. It was technically my fault, but part of the blame rests with them for not properly training me. Anyway, so I lost the company $400. A multi-million or even billion dollar company with stores all over the US. So yeah, figure that one out.
They were going to let me go over it, but fortunately for me, they had another position open which is basically what I did at my last job, but at a lesser rate of pay. I'm angry, but glad I still have a job.
Anyway, I have off until next week when I found out the hours I'll be working, so until then, I'm gonna go play some more Tales of Symphonia. It's pretty good so far and I just got my favorite tech, Tiger Blade. I love using that.
@Alacar: You're birthday is soon? Well, then here! Have a...oh...wait...
You start with a preconstructed deck. You may choose any preconstructed deck sold by Wizards of the Coast.
So... does that mean I can take a preconstructed world champion's deck :p?
I'm not entirely sure if I want to be in the next league. Maybe if I get the modular deck, I might want to play and figure that out. Also: I thought we got packs a little to quickly for my tastes last time. I really didn't want to add a bunch of cards to my pool then only use 1 if that. (it would have helped if my deck wasn't b/w aggro, then maybe I could have gotten cards ^_^;.) Also, I get lazy fairly quickly. And when things feel inconvenient I generally lose interest. I'd like it if we only got 1 pack a week if we played. But I'd also be fine w/ one per week and 2 if you play. 3 per week sort of makes me feel swamped. Idk what other people think though. Thats just what I decided.
I'm about to finish the next peice of Chpt. 2 in my fan fic. I know... two people on here have read it. And Crimson's read one peice.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
[/list]So... does that mean I can take a preconstructed world champion's deck :p?
Yes. And considering none of those cards would be legal in Extended/Legacy/Vintage or whatever since they were gold bordered, you would basically be playing a deck of basic lands. Unless I'm wrong, in which case- damn you anyway, Alacar!

[16:23] Alacar Leoricar: maybe if you do it'll make the porn more meaningful
I would be careful, missy- I'm the sort of man that doesn't have qualms about hitting women.

Congrats! May it have positive feedback!
As for me - well I just found this odd bit of information I'm actually intrigued in. Old reruns of American Gladiators are playing tomorrow at 1 PM on ESPN Classic. I used to LOVE that show mainly because of its total cheese factor. I wanna see that again.
I'm waiting on a reply from one of the forum's moderator's though. I want permission to post a certain part of it thats boarding on the allowed/not allowed line in that forum's rules.
Oh, I went to a draft today and didn't get crap, although I did get 4th place. Also, a guy who never plays magic really was there for fun, and he traded me Dralnu for 2 common slivers even though he knew he was getting ripped off :).
That was nice of him and makes me view him better, considering I always thought he was an idiot.

Directing: Good, not great.
Writing: There are sooooo many one-liners in this movie, it's not funny. No really, they're not funny.
Cinematography: Well, when you have an epic graphic novel writer like Frank Miller pretty much writing the whole storyboard, it's hard not to be awesome.
Choreography and Action: Nonstop. Except a few disturbing moments. But hey, it's not a long film.
Special Effects: If I see another limb flying or blood splattering in slo motion....
Acting: It's not a movie you want to go into expecting great acting, but David Wenham (better known as Faramir in LotR) and Gerard Butler are the best of the crop.
Overall: It's worth seeing, and if you like it, get it. It's short and sweet, if you like ultraviolence.
PCL: I was considering cutting it back to 1 pack per week, with up to 1 extra bonus pack if you play twice in the week. But it's hard to say what everyone here likes.
Bah, it's cool, Kevin. I love the deck, and have more than I thought for it. I just need to get Animate Deads (and double check to see if I still have 4 Exhumes).
CA: Enjoy the book!

On another note, don't you hate it when you do a LOT of work on a game, and either don't save or assume there's an autosave feature?

Well, he did just have a friend die. Would you be any less touchy? (Plus, you know how moody 14 year old girls can be.)
On the PCL: No comment at the moment. I'm sure it's fine, I'm just not that interested in it right now.
I'm really in the mood for a mojito right now...
@Kevin: Yes, I am only 6 foot tall. 6'1" in shoes. 6'2" in heels. 6'8" in Shin's heels.

People always seem nicer when they let you take advantage of them.
Mommy needs to learn to block.
Speaking of which, I didn't consider that you would naturally have a mother... I wonder who she is?
