I am getting used to working there which is good. I got in a serious funk last night. I think my biorythm is on a low or something. While I am not overly depressed or anything, I do not have alot of energy and my patience is very thin at the moment. I couldn't even play MTGO or Soul Calibur last night without getting irritated.
To top it off, Jenn was snoring up a storm last night. Around christmas she started snoring for some random reason...and normally that isn't an issue for me I have shared a bed with alot of people who snore. Something about the tone or something of her snoring really grinds at me...makes it really hard to sleep and as irritable as I was last night I really couldn't handle it.
Things should pic up though, I am meeting LunaSlave for coffee and prob some Street Fighter tonite after work. He always makes me smile. Of all my real life friends he is doing the best at accepting me as a woman and he makes me feel amazing because of it. I asked him to spend my week off with me and help me find a therapist and go shopping with me.

I missed the premier but have watched every episode since. It's kind of a strange animal to me. The individual episodes are quite underwhelming; rarely do I find myself emotional at all about the characters or plot. There aren't even many moments where the display of powers makes me go "that was sweet!" nor are there many moments where it feels very "real", where the humanity of the characters show through (as opposed to a show like Buffy, where beneath the kitch and fantasy there was a deep sense of reality in the character and how she dealt with the circumstances she found herself in). Almost every character seems to adapt unrealistically easily to suddenly having superpowers, and they seem to be interested in doing little else than whatever their role in advancing the plot is.
That said, I find myself incredibly intrigued by the progression of the story and I do enjoy the show.

Anyway, supposedly I needed to come to the parents' work after work today... except that I got there and nobody was there except my dad, who told me he didn't really need me for anything. Oh well. Today is the start of my weekend! This calls for a celebration.
I'll be home soon and put up AotW. After that... Just relaxing and doing a lot of nothing. Maybe balance my checkbook. I need a day just to lay around the house.
Too be honest...I kinda have a bit of a crush on Luna, and I am positive he feels the same. But I am not looking for anything at the moment (besides, he has a gf) I am hesitant also because having someone treat me like a girl can have a very infatuating effect...I want to be sure before I do anything. He really makes me smile though, in a soft fuzzy dreamy way. He is also one of my best friends...ever. I do not want to jeopardize that.
When I was feeling down and iritable last night, he made me smile and feel really good.
I'm wiped out. Five hours of sleep is normally okay for me, but not when those five hours end with me diving head-first into housework just to impress the cable guys who were here for a half hour.
I'm not sure how to work our DVR box yet, but oh well.
Just a random question, Alacar; are precon packs being handed out today? If so I'd like three Time Spiral.
Brandon Heat is just your average street punk in New York. He is part of a small-time gang, along with his best friend Harry MacDowel. Harry, unlike Brandon, has high ambitions, and when, after some gang infighting, Brandon and Harry find themselves alone and confronted by the Mafia, Harry sees his opportunity. He and Brandon join the mob, and begin working their way up the ladder as proffessional hit men.
However, as the first episode (which is really a flash-forward to episode 17) shows, somewhere along the line, things go wrong. Brandon ends up dead, and brought back to life as the monstrous "Beyond The Grave", wielding a super-powered gun in each hand and fighting against the mob's hordes of experimental super-soldiers. The story of what happens in between is the main content of Gungrave - a dramatic mafioso story of love, betrayal, and loyalty to "the family".
Gungrave isn't for everybody. The first episode sets you up for an action show, but hold on - you won't actually get there for quite some time. What Gungrave really is, is a dramatic mafia story about friendship and betrayal, that starts out slow, but builds to a killer ending. If you like police or crime dramas, Gungrave won't disappoint. However, action fans might get a little bored sitting through the first half of the story, since it starts out as a drama. Once you do make it to the end though, look out - the last 10 episodes of Gungrave have a few of the coolest villains and gunfights this side of Trigun.
Great choice for AotW, Mr. Stuff. I really want to see the Gungrave anime in its entirety and play the games it's based off of - anything produiced by the man responsible for Trigun is right up my alley =)
Heh, yeah, Nightow is pretty awesome. I love the Japanese voice actor for Brandon, Tomokazu Seki, too. Among other things, he voices Sagara Sousuke in Full Metal Panic, Van Fanel in Escaflowne, and the main character (Chiaki) in Nodame Cantabile, one of my new favorite series.
Whew.. my nephew knows how to misbehave and not listen.. I swear.. I had to pin him down for 10 minutes while he screamed and kicked--because he wouldn't say he was sorry. It's the only way to get him to listen. He's mostly just showing off because he's at his grandma's house.
Anyways, I've had a long, but mostly good day.
I'm gonna try to hand out the PCL packs today, or at least what people requested.

I really do need them because I tend to get awoken VERY easily by the slightest noise if it isn't already going when I fall asleep. That and my dad screams like an idiot really early in the morning waking everyone up. So it'd be nice to get them honestly.
I'm so sorry, 'Fox. I hope that you and your family can find some peace, as painful as I know the experience must be ~_~;;
@Seki Tomokazu: Oh that man. He plays two of my favorite anime characters - Chichiri and Shuichi Shindo. Even after so long in the business he's still so fresh. That gives me even more incentive to check out Gungrave.

So last night I went to the back specialist... he barely examined me and basically shipped me off to Physical Therapy 2-3x a week for 3 weeks, telling them to "Treat it as if it's a slipped disk" and then AFTER a followup appt with him in THREE WEEKS he MIGHT schedule an MRI... he gave me some medicine too but still, its like... AGH, I wanna know what this IS... Severely annoying... I almost wanted them to do an MRI right then because then we would know without a doubt what is definitely wrong, without this crappy trial-and-error stuff!
Annoying. As. Hell.
And Evan, dear, dear, do I ever know how it feels to be laid up... *hug** I hope you feel better soon...
And CONGRATULATIONS to Crimson and Dreia on their RotW! You guys definitely deserve it.. I love you both, seriously... you're amazing...

I'm so confused, I'm injured too, I was playing Hockey in the street with my friends, and I was really out of breath, and I sort of collapsed, and then when I got up, I was HIT BY A CAR!!!!!!!! It was going slow, so I just got a Serious backache and a scraped up lower body, it hurts, but Im glad I got up when I did, or my face might be roadkill on the street right now. Oh, and we had a two on two tournament afterwards and me and my friend Jake, the two worst players out of us all, we WON! WOOT!!! Now im off to take a lot of Motrin and hope Mickey Mouse doesnt show up dancing on my ceiling again. Cya all later

Hey guys. Just came back from a tough practice. 4 back-to-back 6:00 miles, with a 1:00 rest in between :-/.
Congrats on RotW CA and Dreia!!! You guys are both really awesome from what I've seen of you, and I hope to get to know both of you more.
So I made my FCC card, which is attached below. I'm really unsure about it though. I had a cool idea at first, which I had to change because it didn't really fit with the requirements, at least not so that it was a cool card. Hopefully it makes sense flavorwise.
Alacar, could I get 3 Apocalypse for PCL please? I think that is the one with good UG cards. Thanks :).
@strongbad: wow what an impressive feet and congrats! I think my best mile run was about 6 minutes as well but that was a pretty long time ago. I also used to play basketball pretty heavily for about 8 or 9 hours straight everyday. I wish i could still do that actually. Anyhow have a great night strongbad!

Hey, everyone. Haven't been here all day, because I've been sick ever since last night. Around four in the morning, I had a fever and just couldn't stop shivering. I had on two blankets and turned the heat up, but nothing seemed to help. Then, after a few hours of hazily tossing and turning, I started getting extremely hot, and ended up lying on top of my covers with the fan on, feeling like I was burning up. I hate getting sick like that, when you can barely move, even so much as sit up without having to fight the urge to vomit. I kept having to get up for water, and was sure each time I'd fall over and pass out or something.
I did finally get to sleep around 8 o'clock, and slept until five in the afternoon almost without interruption. That made a big difference, though I was still very weak and sore after waking up. I hope I'm okay to work tomorrow; at least now I can keep some food down. I seriously thought it just wouldn't end, but I'm finally starting to feel better. It feels like some 24-hour virus to me. I remember getting this about a year ago, and being just miserable for most of the day, and then being fine the day after. Hopefully I'll be better after sleeping tonight.
I'll try to do some catching up in a minute; just wanted to say hi and check in.
