I like both, but prefer home-fries. I like the texture better, especially the soft, warm inside.

Hey everyone. Sorry about not posting in the past few days. I've had to get up for work at 8 A.M. everyday since Wed. and I have to do it tomorrow too. So, I'll be heading to bed soon. I've probably have posted, but I've been really tired even though I've only been working for 4 hours a day. It's still draining and tiring because I have to get up at 6:30 so I can drop my Dad off at his work. But tomorrow, since he has off, I'll be able to sleep a little later, so that's pretty good.

Bad news guys- the pain shifted to BOTH hips and am experiencing a sharp burning pain every so often even after i took the muscle relaxant... So, AotW is my next post. Turns out I'm not going in to work just yet, but instead am going to go look at possibly buying a car. I need to have my broadband... But I need a car too, so, meh. I just want the rest of my Higurashi.
I came up with a cool idea on the way to work today. I noticed that the majority of my poetry lately has been in line with my trangender issues I am working through. I was thinking it would be neat to collect it all and have it published in a book of poems on the subject. I found a web site a while back which publishes any book you submit for free and pays you a percentage of the sales (they post an add for the book and print copies as they are needed)
Good morning, everyone. It has been really slow around here lately. I just noticed, maybe it is time for a new thread? We've got 3653 posts with this one, which is about where we usually restart. Although it's up to Omna, of course.
So I've got a track meet in a little bit, but I'm not sure if I'll be running in it. Aparrantly my 800 time was not good enough to get in, and so now I'm the 9th "Alternate". I'm going to go and hope I can run, but I think it is unlikely. Although maybe someone else can let me run their race.
I think I figured out what happened to Seek (and possibly Hide, though she showed no symptoms at all) Toxoplasmosis
We had a stray cat we saved and looked after for a while who had some problems with worms (we cleaned that up) and cats are the most common vector.
On a happier note, through research I found out what breed Nezumi is. Here are some of her Siamese sisters.
I will try and get some photos of her up asap.

I've noticed that, and I like what you've written. It's surprising how much gender identity comes up, and comes to mind, even in everyday life. One would imagine it would only an issue in some situations, but gender ideals and segregation are very deeply ingrained in our culture. In addition, it seems like gender is a very basic aspect of peoples' identities and self images and social dynamics. I guess it's really not all that surprising.

I love writing poetry but rarely fine inspiration for a full poem. This is the first time in years I have been inspired to write so much on one subject

Alright, I'm back. I'm getting a report on the car as we speak from carfax.com. If it checks out, I may buy it. The only problem it has is a slight oil leak.
AotW soon. Then I'm balancing my checkbook. Lots of chores I need to get done today.
The first form of identity we build is our gender, right from the pink or blue booties. We are told XX=female and everything about the identity the people around us give say or show about us is XX, then we must be female. Or vice versa.
The problem arises when the core part of our mind which really matters in this indentity contradicts what people have told us what we are. All of our actions stem from our identity. How we react to anything and what we choose to do. Our personality builds from this core, our gender. When it becomes evident that we have built our core from a false belief, then suddenly our whole life is false. You question everything...do I really like Dogs...or do I just feel I should like dogs because of Lassie shows and the "boy and his dog" addage. Man's Best friend.
Its like finding out the first floor of your highrise (which you live on the penthouse of) is made from balsa wood and cottage cheese (and we all know you can't make a high rise out of cottage cheese....its for making cottages...duh!)
I'm irish for another 8 hours so bottoms up (swig of irish cream blend decaf) but have to work today on an overdue project so no party time for me.
In other news there's been a recall of tainted cat food in the US so mammy probably wouldn't want to curl up in anyone's lap on the east coast, because that's where the problem seems to come from.
Not that I'd make you eat that horrid stank-ass crap. Smoked mackerel and turkey neck broth with cut-up potatoes and carrots oh my!
