He may have posted her under a gimmick account, Blane. Although this is apparently up for debate now *Shrug*
EDIT: Hey guys, let's try to get some more conversation in here today so this TFE nonsense isn't the first thing people see when they log on. Uhm...who else is planning on buying Rogue Galaxy for the Ps2? Also, which N20 members have never been to the Pen & Paper Inn?
Hello everyone! I am very sorry to say but can you guys take me off of the member's list of natural 20 and put me on the friend's list? It has been alot of fun being a member of natural 20 though. The leader of the vogue clan offered me to join his clan so I am going to join up with vogue for a long while. I will post here every now and then though.
I just popped in there briefly.. wow... nice place...I'm really excited now about taking a more intensive look at it when I get some time, because I also have the book D&D for Dummies, and so that, in cohesion with the P&PI, will certainly help a n00b like me learn the game.. maybe i'll actually get into it
Unfortunately I don't have much time right now though... (as in, tonight.. I have to write an essay before the night's out)
I'm sure we'd be glad to help you along, Omna. Please, read the stickies in the University, and feel free to ask questions there. Photon is running a 'tutorial campaign', which may help you along.
Well, Freaking Elves is starting. It was hard for me to choose who would play, since there were just so many sign-ups!
I hope people on the reserve list do follow along, though, since I feel that FE is the sort of campaign you can really get a kick out of from watching as well as playing.
Anyway, what's up with everyone? We've been trying to get our copy of Rogue Galaxy all weekend to no avail, and I've been trying to work on the Rise SRD and figure out a design theme for my new apartment (I'm thinking New York loft).

I haven't been to the P&PI yet, but I will after this posting. My campaign is going nicely. I had my friend Scott play through the first bits and he thinks it is great, so hopefully so does the rest of my playgroup.
EDIT: Hey guys, let's try to get some more conversation in here today so this TFE nonsense isn't the first thing people see when they log on.
Darn it. That's exactly the kind of crap that I wanted to talk about. It's that sort of nonsense that sells papers and makes for good TV - TFE spotted! TFE lives! TFE infiltrating our systems! Sorry, I won't pollute the thread with any more of that nonsense.
Omna, love the new avvy. I have seen the movie, but I can't remeber the name of it. What was it called? I love books or Readermaster2000? Something like that.
EDIT: READ OR DIE. A much cooler title than anything I could have imagined. You have two options. You can read, or I'll cut you in half.
P&PI? Hmm. I have to say that I have no real excuse for not trying it out. I have looked around and decided that it wasn't really my kind of thing, but if there are some campaigns I can snoop around in I might change my mind at some point. It's not like it's ready to drop off from lack of interest, is it?
I'm sincerely hoping that my d20 Modern tutorial comes to an end by this Thursday, because I'm really wanting to start the actual campaign. It'll be a Shadow Hearts-style story set in 1925-era America and countries thereabouts. I'm really looking forward to it.
Also, Photon's going to start up a Star Ocean-like campaign some time soon, in the flesh. Looking forward to that too, since I'm planning on playing a technosavant girl with a giant robot that fights for her. No, I haven't played too much Xenogears =P
I played Star Ocean once. I didn't get the chance to get much of the story, but the combat system was cool.
So does anybody here have any exprience in playing Warhammer 40k? I ws thinking of gtting into it, but didn't really know what it was entirely about gameplay-wise...I really don't want to spend 35 bucks on the starter set for something I don't want, so any help would be great/appreciated. If you happen to kow anything about the Tau army, that'd also be cool.

I do. I use to play it all the time a few years ago. My friends and I eventually stopped playing though. It kinda died off, and the company kept increasing their prices. When you say gameplay-wise, what do you mean? Like story or how everything actually happens on the table?
For the Tau, I love them. They were technically my first army. I had bought some Space Marines from my friend so I could play, at first, but then I got some of the Tau models. They're pretty technologically advanced, so they have some really neat weapons and the models are sleek and futuristic sexy.
The game itself is pretty fun with friends, and you can also enjoy reading backstory about the game, and assembling, converting and painting the models by yourself. I'd at least look everything over before I got into it though. Unless you enjoying modeling, the game isn't that fun without people to play against.
By game-play wise, I meant how everything goes down. I already like the storyline fragments I've read, and I want to get into some sort of hobby, other than MTG, cause it's getting kind of old with my people having more money and dominating me with 100 dollr combos...Does Warhammer favor the rich? I don't know if you had a troop limit or what, and I want to look up more on the game, but the school blocked the site
There's a good question. What collectible games do not favor the rich, if any? Thanks for the info on Kobolds. (hmm, I'm assuming ME didn't steal the kobold bard idea from me, and I know I didn't from him, any other kobold bards I don't know about?)
Boo on school blocking sites.

Ah, ok. I guess you could say it favors the rich, but only to an extent. If you want to get into everything the game has to offer, you're going to need to buy the models, glue, paintbrushes, paint, an army codex, and have an amount of 6-sided die around. Some sort of measuring device is probably a good idea to have. Its not like Magic, where if you have the more expensive cards, you're more likely to win. That can be the case when you decide to get a tank or something though. Those things can do some serious damage.
But, they can be stopped.
As for limitations, yes there are. Basically, when you want to set-up a game, you and your opponent agree to use a certain number of points for your armies. It can also depend on the scenario your playing, but it doesn't have to be anything special for a casual game.
Each troop has its own cost, so, let's say, if you were playing 500 points, you could take a leader with a few nifty weapons or items, and 2 squads of 10-man troops. I'm not sure of the total cost, but I think its pretty close.
That sucks that they blocked the site, because I'm sure it'd be real helpful. If you haven't already, perhaps take a look at its wikipedia entry or see if your local gamestore sells Warhammer and flip through the pages of the latest edition rule book to get an idea of how everything works.
Thanks, I am at home now so I can look at their page. I'll probably just ask for the starter set for my birthday or something, or look for something cheaper. I basically jut want a new hobby that isn't too expensive...
Off to go work on my campaign after checking the rulings forum.
Uh, no need mention illegal copies of Advent Children. (Although my english version is legit)
