Let's do a one-shot first, I think. Just to get our bearings. And then, allow campaigns to start up based on general interest.
I am working on a campaign, but it's going to be a bit in coming, but I definitely intend to run it. Meanwhile, I think doing a few modules would be a good idea, since I assume anyone else wanting to DM will want to spend some time setting up.
Meanwhile, today I bought Cityscape, The Ultimate Prestige Class, and Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. It's all very exciting.

I had a dnd session today. Lots of fun. Particularily because our fighter/barbarian just became a frenzied berserker. ^^ They were all aboard a ship that had gotten held from ransom, all the party members laying on the deck. Suddenly one of the minotaur hijackers decide he is bored and the doesnt like our elven frenzied bersker and he kicks him, dealing a bit of damage to him.
The elf fails his will save and frenzes and rages. He then proceeds to jump up grab the minotaurs large battleaxe and kill him with it. Such an amazingly awsome scene. He then proceded slaughtering all the other minotaurs/harpies/hobgoblins on the ship almost before the other party members were able to react.
Also, I'm starting as a player in a new campaign now soon where we play in eberron setting as Yuguloths (see MM for description). The actual kinds of yuguloths are expanded, balanced (to eachother) and such and we have racial levels and we start at lvl 10.
So now I'm playing a Voor which is large, have wings, 4 claws and 26 in strength (before I rage and frenzy) (in 4 levels more I will be huge and have 6 claws and get +8 str)
My claws also give me the rend ability and now I can attack with both set of claws and rend twice So If I'm lucky with my roles I can rip gargantuan dragons to pieces. Quite literally. (can I hear 50damage fortitude save anyone? )
(if there any other eberron nerds here we are mabar natives )
edit: I think two games for testing could be better and more effective if we have enough people.
Photon Eater: I bought Secrets of Xendrik today Cityskape and Castle Ravenloft looks sweet though.

Cityscape was a decent read. I'm currently reading Expedition to Castle Ravenloft and I'm probably going to run it for my group once they reach level 5. They're extremely high powered, so even though the adventure is for levels 6-11, level 5 should be a good starting point for our group. We're going to start the campaign this coming sunday, using the Queen with Burning Eyes adventure from Dungeon 113.
I skimmed Secrets of Xen'drik. I have it, but I probably won't read it in detail until we do an adventure in Xen'drik.

I bought Cityscape because I want to make use of it for my PnP Inn campaign, which is gonna be sort of like... heavily planar, but also very urban... sort of Dune meets Ravnica, if you will.
Meanwhile, Ravenloft just gives me a total gamer-boner. It's such a classic module, so elegant and dark and awesome. And I adore anything Bruce Cordell touches, so I knew I would love this version, and so far I am totally jazzed about running it- plus, it gives me another use for my 3 Dragon Ante cards!
Edit: I also want to vouch for Ethersphere as far as running WPL-ing d20 Modern in the PnP Inn, since he's been very vocal about doing such- and no one else has. Also, he has experience with it.
Bizkit Overlord: I'm running Voyage of the golden dragon for my party now, we just finishes module 1 of it. Going to Xendrik next session
Photon Eater: I agree that having WPL's with different experteeses would probably be good D20 is really huge

Okay.. if Photon doesn't want to, I am willing to do a one-shot for our first session(s) on P&PI. It will be a simple dungeoncrawler, but it will help us test out combat. I'll post the signup for it on P&PI in a bit.

You can field it if you want to- I'm not quite ready to jump into actually running the game yet, what with other obligations.

I actually might decide to play in that. Just to help test things out.
I ran A Dark and Stormy Knight with my group a while ago, but I don't remember it, so it's all good.

It's impossible to generate someone of my height and weight using the table for that in the D&D PHB. (This one.) If you rolled a 7 for height on a male human, you would get someone who is 5'5, which is my height. However, even if you rolled a 2 for the weight multiplier, you would end up with an 134 pound person; this is quite a bit more than I actually weigh. (It is possible to generate me if you assume that I'm a girl or a half-elf.)
What's everyone's favorite way to roll a d3? I like rolling a d4 and rerolling if you get a 4.

What's everyone
For a while, we just used a d6. 1-2 was 1, 3-4 was 2, 5-6 was 3.
Then....
My girlfriend was over, and we pulled out some board game and there was a six-sided die in it. She kept rolling it, and it kept coming up as a 1, 2, or 3. So I was like "You must be unlucky. Give me it." I kept rolling, what do you know... 1...3..2..1..3..2....So I examined the die more closely, it had TWO ones, TWO twos, and TWO threes. Viola, a d3!

What's everyone's favorite way to roll a d3? I like rolling a d4 and rerolling if you get a 4.
I bought some blank d6's and wrote on them with magic marker. When that rubbed off, I covered each side with a piece of tape that would hold ink. In this way, I got a d3 and a d2 for all of those times you need one.
I also made a suspect d5, with the 6 being replaced by a 3. This preserves the average value of each roll for a theoretical d5, but it makes the 3 twice as likely to roll.

Typically, I ignore the height/weight/age/cosmetic description rolls for characters, as they have no impact on the game, and I tend to want to be in control of that aspect of my character.

[16:23] Alacar Leoricar: maybe if you do it'll make the porn more meaningful
Hello everyone just like to stop by to say hello.:) Anyways I am still half way through enchanted arms and somewhat more then half way through final fantasy 12 i think I am still planning on finishing both rpgs maybe i can finish both of them before christmas comes which is possible considering i only have 3 weeks of clinicals left but hopefullly ill hear from the job intern positioning to see if i got it or not soon. Anyway ill post later cya!
A character's height has no real effect on the game, but the weight can matter a little if one character has to carry another, if you're using the encumbrance rules. Is anyone using the emcumbrance rules?
I apply the common sense rule to encumbrance- if you could logically carry it, you can carry it. A character shouldn't be able to run around with 12 sets of fullplate on his person, but if he is particularly loaded down, and he happens to pick up a fork or something, he isn't gonna be encumbered.

I'm a little bored with Final Fantasy 12. I'm at this wierd point where I'm near the end game, but I need to level up my off characters.
One of the gripes I have with this game is that it's completly lacking an interesting and whimsical sub-game. This one has a complete void in that department.

As for the random height/weight thing? I like it if I don't have a character already in mind.
