My mom called a half hour ago, and she figured out I had been napping since the end of classes at 2:00. Not pleased with that. She thinks that I should be out studying and socializing after I'm finished. I agree... but I was just too tired. But now I'm going to get something to eat.
Hey guys, sorry for the short leave of absense. I have been pretty busy in a few things. Im trying to get this t2 deck into competitiveness, its in the decks for critique t2 forum. I have been not getting a lot of sleep because my dad has been on my mind. Between my father and mortal wombat's im not sure whos is worse. So the odyssey is finally getting good, and I finished my report about Ajax. I didn't read any posts so I'm not sure what the current topic is I just wanted to fill everyone in on my situation
I saw a badly done video of Avenue Q last night, so that Gravitation thing was awesome. Plus, I love Shuichi. Yes I do. Thanks Mr. Stuff.
Philosophy Class: Introductions and such. Not very fun. But, it's going to be an awesome class. And there's a Philosophy Club being set up, which I"ll be going to. This is going to be aaaaawesome. One of the things we had to make was a card talking about ourself. ONe was our personal philosophy. The guy showing me hwo it was supposed to be done (simple, but I didn't know the questions) had his as "Life, the universe, and everything: 42". It was cool to see.
Shonen-Ai: Ah. I didn't remember seeing you there, Mamelon. I sorta... Fell out of Gaymers, mostly since I fell off the face of the 'Salvation for quite some time, then came back for the Colo over here. I might try and join again (for the third time) sometime eventually. But yeah. Shonen-ai is nice.
Fall Out Boy: Is that that one band where every guy on it is supposed to be gay? I think someone told me about that sometime.
Photon: I sorta feel you about snow. I go out in any case, just because it's there, you know?
New Thread: Why don't we stay on this thread for a bit? No need to hurry on to another one.
Signature: I think I'm going to get a fox signature done, maybe when someone does the port of Nai, and have it link to the Colo some way. I need to find a way to do that...
Shinobi/Otaku Pupil: It's the avatar, I think. That's... Kite, I believe, from .hack.
Alf-F: My key was doing it too, Snoop. I'm not sure why. Must be a firefox thing?
Red Mod Text: Because it's red text for Mods to post in. It's so we can be distinguished, and so you know it's an official mod message. And there is a rule against it. It's like the green text at 'News. Most forums have text especially for mods, so their warnings/whatever is noticed.
New Movies: I should probably go and see what things are about now. I've been avoiding movies, since they seem to be sucking lately, hoping things get fixed. Well, we'll see what happens.

I loved Avenue Q on broadway, The one in Vegas was 30 minutes shorter or something
@ Fall out Boy- They are really untalented, and I dont think their gay. I am most likely going to be seeing them in the summer because +44 is touring with them, and I have to see +44 play.
@Snow - I love it, last year my friend and I made about 80 dollars each or so, With that money and some more I bought two rats nest decks(for original price) a betrayers fat pack, and then I threw in some of my other money and bought a box of ravnica

At least your mom cares where you are and what you're up to!
Trick is to go out and find a place away from home where you can snooze...library, go see a movie, crash at a friends place. If you can get your 20-minute power nap in, then manage to look alert and engaged, you're set.
Huh. I thought there was this popular boy band where the major draw for the girls was that all the guys were gay. Can't remember which one. One of my former bosses liked it.
Also, can we please add Cottage Cheese and Peaches to the Coffeehouse Menu? I didn't see it there. Just the right amount of peach juice (canned peaches works perfectly) with cottage cheese on top of the fruit. YUM!
@Snoop: Excellent idea. I'll have to try that sometime. It's all about location.
@Avenue Q: I never saw that show. I've heard nothing but good things about it, though.
@Philosophy class: You're taking one too, Nai? I'm taking one this semester... it's "Philosophy East and West." We started talking about Confucius and Chinese philosophy today. Friday we're going over humanity and the individual's role in society in Confucian thought.
Just got back from dinner. I have a College Democrats meeting tonight. Sadly I can't attend all of it because I have to meet up with my Statistics study group at 8:30.
Avenue Q was awesome. The video tape, however, was less than stellar. Lots of stuff was missed. Especially off-stage things, and the guy didn't bother to point the camera in the right place at several times during a big deal.
As for Philosophy... I'm not exactly sure how it's going to go. It's only day 2. I'll know next Monday, at the earliest. Looks very cool, though.
I have never heard of Fallout Boy. But then again, the last music I got was the 14 YTMND soundtracks. Figures (and the Weird Al music I was missing. Thanks Nai)
So.. any chance of new Favorite People, Kraj ol' buddy?
@philosophy: I so want to take a class on that but sady my high school doesnt offer it. I guess I'll just have to wait for college.
I've been playing Starfox64 all night. What a great game that is.
Heya everybody!! How are y'all doing this evening? I'm doing quite alright. I decided to not go to the dance, by the way, unless someone can convince me otherwise. I realized that it's just going to kill me seeing the girl I like with her boyfriend all night, and I know that even if I try to ignore her, I won't be able to help it. So yeah, I'm not going to risk it. Maybe I'll go see a movie with my friends instead. And speaking of which:
@Ninja: Pursuit of Happyness is good, Stranger than Fiction is good, Night at the Museum is good. Oh, and surprisingly to me, the movie Happy Feet is really good, as ashamed as I am to admit it. I has a great soundtrack, good animation, and I pretty good plotline also. I'm not sure if it's still playing though.
@Alacar: I'm looking forward to your article!! Oh, and maybe I could possibly be RotW at some point?;)
@Philosophy: I'm really looking forward to college philosophy, as that is want I want to major in, I think. And don't tell me that I can't do anything with it, because I don't care.

I forget what the name of the song is. But the song in Happy Feet by Gia Farrell, well she goes to my school, well went. And that is far far from her real name. Her real name is Jeanine Bocchicio. Farrell is her moms maiden name and Gia is her aunts name. I know that it doesnt make any difference. Just sharing that tidbit
So.. any chance of new Favorite People, Kraj ol' buddy?
Ya know? I almost New Favorite Person™ed you for making me RotW but I was afraid it would have come across as a trite and contrived move on my part. But you know what? You deserve it!

Aww, thanks, Kraj. But I didn't make you RotW to be your New Favorite Person™, but because you deserved it, just like all the previous RotWs. And just like the next RotW does
Hello again, all. I'm feeling a bit better now. I just finished watching the whole GITS: 2nd Gig - I have to say, the ending was VERY satisfying. Now I just have to see the new movie that's come out in Japan, and I'll have seen all of GITS.
@ROTW: Hrmm. Going by who's left, and who's been in the house the longest, there are only about 5-6 people it could be. I won't spoil the fun, though, so if you want to guess, you'll have to figure it out for yourself.
We got the battery replaced in the van, but now for some reason the radio doesn't work. I don't know what's up with that, whether it's a blown fuse or what, but I don't care as long as it gets me to WSU tomorrow. Perhaps I'll stay there tomorrow night and come back Friday. It'd be fun to stay late on Friday, but I may have to come back early depending on how the roads are.

Good luck, I hope everything works out well.
I'm goin' to bed, g'night all.
Also, I hate to be a blister, but do you think I could get added on the first page of the coffehouse?
Good thing this site has a search feature. According to it, my 100th post was in this thread, the Ravnica visual spoiler thread in the Rumour mill. Kind of uninteresting, but there it is.
Now it's time for sleep for me. I'm getting up early to go to WSU. Sucks that the radio isn't getting power, but oh well. I'll deal. I just hope our PC draft goes well.
@Philosophy: I'm really looking forward to college philosophy, as that is want I want to major in, I think. And don't tell me that I can't do anything with it, because I don't care.
Don't worry, strongbad. A little secret: it doesn't really matter what you get your degree in. Unless you want a career in a profession that requires a graduate degree (i.e., medicine, law, engineering, education, etc.), 90% your undergraduate degree is irrelevant to the job you get when you metriculate. Employers just want to see you've got a brain in your head and can achieve a goal.

100th post? I have no idea. I can't figure out to search for it on the search thing, so whatever. It was probably something on the Rumor Mill. That was where most of my first posts were. Oh, and congrats on 100, Alpha.
@Kraj: Thanks. I think college major probably does matter a little, but the thing is, I don't care about high paying job, I just want to do something that I love and is good for the world.
Goodnight everyone! I will try to respond to alot of you tommorrow when i post in here. I just wanted to say good night everyone! Have a great day tommorrow and best wishes to everyone as well! I am going to go study for a little while then play some console rpgs. See you all soon! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*

It's fine, to be honest I didn't even remember you were bi (if you're comfortable with that descriptor). I love shonen-ai, myself, though I admit I get into some of the fluffy, super-sweet stuff that merits some disapproval. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.

No, they're not gay, but they're not really that good.
If you listen to their album, you might find yourself thinking how its not that bad of a band, but they have little talent.
If you see them live, their singing is really bad and you can hardly hear it. The bass is off, as well as the drumming. Not very good at all.
But that doesn't stop 16 year old girls from loving them.
Just a little information for your head.
