Mr. Stuff, that banner reminded me of something. If anyone here has any desire to make a banner for me, that would be awesome. I have no idea what I want, probably something with Strong Bad or H*R. But yeah, I realized that almost everyone here has some kind of banner, so I thought I should have one also. But I really don't care very much, only do it if you really want to. Thanks to anyone who wants to help me out :D.
Oh, and I really will go to bed now .
EDIT: Hey, I think that's my first _00 post of this thread! Cool!
I am really sorry about that mamelon. I was thinking about becoming an chemist though and working for a government agency. Ill be on tommorrow on aol messenger though. I dont think so mamelon I dont think i will be continue to become an x-ray tech at another school... Have a great night mamelon and see you tommorrow. *hugs mamelon back*
@alacar: thanks for the support. Hugs alacar back.
See you all tommorrow! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
Love,
Cecilia
;_______________;
Sorry to hear about this. It sounds very fishy, and unjust. I will pray for you first of all tonight, because I feel I know where you are coming from, and it's a rough place to be in, hon. *returns hug and kiss*
I'm pretty sure Alacar has one already, but I'm bored, and so I'll gladly take this request. However, it'll have to wait until tomorrow evening since I have work tomorrow... and it's 1:00am now. Sigh... another day, another dollar, another week of health insurance.
Well, I finally finished writing my paper which is due in less than 7 hours. Genius me!! But I figured I would read on here for a few, since I'm wide awake as always.
About the condiment thing: I must say ketchup is one of the most disgusting common foods. I hate it and I don't like tomatoes either, but I love salsa and pico de gallo on food.
Cecilia: I'm sooooo very sorry to hear that dear. I offer you big hugs and continued success it whatever you choose to pursue. If ya ever need to or want to talk, feel free to message me. It seems Mamelon is definitely great for that too!!
I bid each of you a pleasant night. I'll post again after I nap when I get out of class tomorrow. *big hugs yall*
Many thanks for the avatar, Mr.Stuff! It looks pretty sweet. Speaking of banners, I need to think of an idea for a new one. I'd want a anime-type one, but I haven't seen that many. I kinda want something obscure. I guess I need to do some research and downloading something.
Okay, quick post, and I'll be on my way, in order to study.
The German language, indubitably, is the language of war, violence, and other related abstracts. Good to know some of you know/learn German.
I suppose it can be considered that German is a native tongue of mine, though I am not as adept as I'd like to be; same can be said for French, Italian, and some others.
Yes, perhaps; "dysthymia" rather connotes a medical description, as that is how it is primarily used.
Yes, the word is oft-used in poetic English, and, not medicine, but psychiatry - though, they're pretty much the same. Not.
However you please. Frivolous nothings are often more welcome than grim somethings, and I do not find your recordings there to be as devoid of purpose or substance as you claim; I do not feel it easy to believe that you have much to say that amounts to nothing. Rather, your nothings should probably be more like to somethings than the nothings of some others. If that makes sense to you.
Oh, yes, that does make sense, but I am dumbfound, nonetheless.
Without question! I shall, then, repay that attention, if it would please you.
Aww, why thank you, Mamelon.
Anyhow, I shall be inactive (probably - most likely - definitely) around certain parts of the forum, quite possibly the place as a whole, but I shall check in from time to time, and definitely work on the wiki. Good to see Yukora offering to help out.
Anyway, ... talk to you fine people later. Have a good day (whole day, not time of day); rest well; eat right, drink enough; stay outta trouble; take care; you know... etc.:p
Got to study, lest I make a fool of myself; clean up after my family (external, too>.>); and learn how to be casual around people, and make people not hate me.
See you.
Heh. You can always check out the anime/manga/doujinshi thread in Entertainment to see what people are watching and discussing. Alternatively, I could recommend something (or 10 or 20 somethings) in a particular genre if you'd like.
Dang, now I'm almost feeling in the mood to open back up my shop. Almost. If it weren't for the few days of the week where I actually do have things to do, I'd do it.

That'd be great if you could recommend some anime. I know you've seen a lot of it and I bow to your knowledge. As for the genre, I'm up for pretty much anything. I don't think there's a genre I don't like, but I could be wrong. Have been before.
I was digging in the old Coffeehouse threads.. and found this wonderful long list of "Little Things" we all enjoy. I think some of you older regulars will remember it!
Thank you all for supporting me in my crisis. How do you all like my sig? Well goodnight everyone! Have a great rest of the week too! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
Congratulations, sneaks, Yukora, and all who have recently hit the big 5K mark.
Hi sneaks.:)
Anyway, I really have my own variant of "some essay I still got laying around before I go to the Rotterdam Filmfestival", so see you later people. Those who this is applicable to, good day and afternoon, may you enjoy your day; those who this is applicable to, good night, sleep well.
Edit: Nai, consider me subscribed, if it's alright with you.:)
Wait... Dude... I have a blog again. This is, like... YAY! Or something.
And enough of that. I went to bed at 8pm last night and got up at around... 2am, I believe. Ate some cottage cheese and peaches, then went back to bed for an hour. Got woken up by a nudge of a cat. Bah.
Why is it that now I have a blog, I can't remember the things I was going to put in it?
Good morning, everyone. How are you all? I hope you all have a good day.
This is my last day at the old job. I'd appreciate any prayers, thoughts, sentiments, or whatnot as I take my first steps into something new. I'm sort of nevous, but I'm sure I'll feel better once this is all settled.

You're being very brave about this. Nobody laugh, but I was very upset last night. It's terrible to think you're being denied something for which you've worked so hard and so long.
But I'm sure you'll do well in whatver you decide to do now. *hugs*

You think so? I'd describe it as a language full of great pomp, poetry, and ancient grandness.
Yes, the word is oft-used in poetic English, and, not medicine, but psychiatry - though, they're pretty much the same. Not.
But psychiatry is assuredly a subtype of medicine.

The thing with blogs is that everybody can delete their own one, but because they are linked to the screenname, no one can create a second one. But, it's very easy for admins to undelete the initial blog. So that's what I did for Mamelon and have done for Nai.
My blog had to be undeleted? If so, thanks for doing it.

Wait... Dude... I have a blog again. This is, like... YAY! Or something.
Hooray! *subscribes*
Well, everyone, I will certainly see you all later this afternoon. This day might feel a bit long, as I'll be anxious to get out of there, but, oh, well. See you soon!
All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.
Yes, I have a blog now, and I have made my first entry into it.
On another note, Cecilia, I completely forgot to comment on your situation, even though I said to myself that I would. I think it's horrible that this is going on for you. I think you should try for somewhere else, even if it seems you won't get in. There's not much worse than not being able to do what you want. I'm glad, though, that you have another idea for something to do even if you can't do this. It's good to know that you won't give up trying to help people.
Mam, ah yes, while psychiatry is assuredly a subtype of medicine, over here, psychiatry and medicine are two different things. Medicine is more or less surgery and medicine, and psychiatry is, well, psychiatry. Odd place, here, eh?

Good morning to you, Mamelon. 'Tis late here, and darkness is what I embrace, for the light buuurns... I'm fine, thanks.:p As for yourself, my blue-eyed deary?
This is my last day at the old job. I'd appreciate any prayers, thoughts, sentiments, or whatnot as I take my first steps into something new. I'm sort of nevous {sic}, but I'm sure I'll feel better once this is all settled.
Well, think as this as a progression, I suppose.
*Sigh.* I'm never quite good with this - being eloquent, poetic, and all that.
@Nai: I've read your entry, and find that I have learnt quite a bit from it. Thank you.:)
@Cecilia/kevinliu2333: On a more serious subject, I, too, completely forgot, or unable, to comment on your quandary; it is such a tale of woe, and it is such a shame that you worked ever so hard, but was unable to be rewarded fittingly for your great doings. It is, however, pleasing to know that you have ambitions and designs for yourself. I feel for you, precious. *Hugs kevinliu*
I wish you the best of luck in your future aspirations and endeavours, darling, whether it be being a chemist, or being an X-ray technician, as is the case with Mamelon. Good luck, you two.
Edit: Something unrelated, really:
Not that it matters, but I am not guaranteed to visit this lovely place, and its patrons, due to work. See you soon!
Having appropriated Mam's message, good luck, Mamelon!
That's a good example of what people think of Lost Planet, I'm afraid. Never touched Saint's Row, but Oblivion is well worth the $40 on its own.
MM, I'm glad you learned something, though keep in mind I'm not infallible, and I might be very wrong about Plato there. But, I'm not wrong about how I feel, so... You learned something about me, at least.
I'm so taking the "Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl" DVD to my Philosophy class to show them the Philosophy Drinking song, and the Philosophy Soccer sketch.
Ah my Goddess, there's a DVD of that event?!
Thanks Nai, I'll see if I can order it at the local store
@ Alacar:
Actually, I had originally envisioned something like the second banner, but after seeing the first one I have decided that I like that one better, as you can see in my signature
Again, thank you sir
Also, it was nice reading that list again (and seeing that chocolate is still mentioned four times in it).
I just wanted to say goodnight to everyone.. I have to tell you all it looks like I won't be getting back into the x-ray program. The director of the program basically told me that he's been hearing the same thing over and over again that I am not suited for the x-ray tech job. Anyways sorry to interrupt everyone but i just wanted to tell you all that.
I'm truly sorry to hear that Cecilia
* Janus gives Cecilia a big hug and a piece of chocolate cake
Did the director say why they thought that you weren't suited for the job?
The German language, indubitably, is the language of war, violence, and other related abstracts.
Hmmm... I don't think I agree with you there, even though you're knowledge of and insight into the German language is bound to be more extensive than mine.
While I do feel that German is - or at least can be - a very harsh and sharp language to the ear, I do not feel that it is well associated with the abstracts you have mentioned.
Rather, I would consider the language to be more associated with pride and grandness than anything else.
I suppose it can be considered that German is a native tongue of mine, though I am not as adept as I'd like to be; same can be said for French, Italian, and some others.
Actually, I'd love to be able to speak Italian some day. I think it's one of the most beautiful languages in the world.
Yeah, Janus, there is. It's part of a set of two DVDs. It also includes them Live at Aspen after Graham's death, a big thing of sketches from them including the parrot sketch, hosted by Steve Martin (I believe), and a german show they did one time.
Shouldn't be hard to find, I take it that it isn't a rare DVD set.
Off to work, then class then fixing my hearing aid and checking my mail, and just basically relaxing and whatnot I'm going to try to do my homework due Wednesday, tonight in the time I have.. so yeah That should be good Especially since from 7-11ish Ryan and I are going to RWAG, a place where we play Magic draft on Tuesday nights We haven't been there in a while so it should be good
Ok I'm gone to work.. I'll be able to check in again w/ you guys at work
I just finished my morning regimen and now I'm gonna sit down and make some ICONS, yo. I want a new avvy/banner theme, but I'm still not sure what I want it to be. Maybe Grandia...although I'd want some better artwork than I have now and it doesn't seem to exist.
You could do a banner/avvy combination of a remarkably BAD game, called "Okage, Shadow King". Geezus was that game horrible... Awesome storyline, but the gameplay absolutely sucked. I'm not just talking about battles (even thugh they happened constantly and you really had no control), but all the mechanics and everything. *shudder*
Time for a three hour nap followed by math talk, then me returning. Whee!
....*sniffle* I really like that game...I was lamenting the other day that I can't play it, actually, because my Ps2 has gotten into the habit of not playing blue discs and certain Ps1 games. Aw well.
Guh...I'm in kind of a pissy mood this morning because of a dream I had last night. Granted, most wouldn't consider it a bad dream, per se, but I certainly did.
Oh, and I really will go to bed now .
