The Magic Coffeehouse is an Overclan that acknowledges that we all are social creatures, and actually like to talk about various things with other people. Eggs
Frying Pan
Butter/something non-sticky for the pan
Heat Source (We'll use a range in this example)
Mixing Bowl (doesn't need to be huge)
Fork/Egg Beater
Spatula
Toppings (Suggestions include sausage, ham, bacon bits, cheese, spinach, broccoli flores)
Instructions
Set your cooking range to the lower end of the Medium setting.
Crack open 2 eggs into the mixing bowl, allowing the yolk and as much of the plasma as possible to flow into the bowl.
Rotate the fork or the beater to spread out the yolks of the egg until you have a fine yellow liquid.
Once the frying pan is warm, pour out the contents of the egg from the mixing bowl onto the frying pan. Try as hard as possible not to let it spread out too far unless you have a circular frying pan. Should that be the case, let it spread out in a circular fashion to the ends.
While the underside of the omelette cooks, apply your toppings to the side of the omelette which is not finished cooking. While you spread out the toppings, most often the Omelette will have successfully cooked at this point.
Use your spatula to fold the two sides of the omelette together upon itself, or if it is circular flip over one side of it onto the other, effectively folding it in half. Let it cook and then flip it over to the other side.
Press the omelette down a bit, letting some of the excess juices flow, and then cook.
Use the spatula to remove the omelette and serve.

CANADIAN TERIYAKI TOFU
4 cups snow peas
4 cups cubed white button mushrooms or whole tiny button shrooms
4 cups chopped yellow onion
3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 8-oz extra firm tofu steaks, cubed and cubes rolled in flour spice mix
Toasted sesame seeds
Flour spice mix
1 cup wheat or corn flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dried basil
Pinch salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
CANADIAN TERIYAKI SAUCE
1 tbsp (LOL 10 ml) maple syrup
1 tbsp (LOL 10 ml) rice vinegar or red wine vinegar
3 tbsp (LOL 30 ml) soy sauce
Pinch ground ginger
Pinch red chile powder
COOKING:
Heat vegetable oil in 16" wide or larger wok or deep skillet until a bit of onion dropped in starts sizzling briskly right away.
Add tofu, onion, garlic; stir fry for 1-2 minutes on high heat.
Add mushroom; stir fry for 5-10 minutes or until onions are translucent and mushrooms are starting to soften and brown.
Add snow peas and stir fry for 5-10 more minutes. Pods should be glistening and softly springy, but still green.
Pour in Canadian teriyaki sauce, stir, lower heat to medium, simmer for 5-10 more minutes or until mixture starts to become dry and cooked, whichever is first.
Salt to taste.
Remove from heat, garnish with toasted sesame seeds, and serve over steamed rice or with soba. 6-8 servings.

I haven't. I haven't heard about it actually. Other than being a Pokemon game, what is it? During the last five years, I think the only Poke games I've played are Gold once or twice, and Emerald once. It's not because I find them childish, but because the games don't really amuse me. The concept is interesting, but the games aren't enough to get me hooked.
@alacar: well have a good time at your sisters house alacar! Yes we will get to 3500 posts in no time maybe we can hit the post mark before she comes back i mean its not out of the question that we can reach the 3500 post mark in 3 weeks.

I've been a fan since they started, and though I haven't played them, I think the concept is just trying to milk the franchise. I wouldn't bother, if I were you.

They aren't bad, they are just different. 99% of Pokemon fans will most likely have never touched a Fushigi no Dungeon game, so they won't know what to make of it. The game itself is not so much a Pokemon title, but really a Fushigi no Dungeon title with Pokemon characters, in actuality.

Edit: Does anyone know what "emo" means? I used to think I did- I thought it was a teen subculture based around a genre of whiny music, but based on how I am seeing it used on the forums, it basically seems to mean "anything you don't like."
P.S. I actually know what the word means, I just wish people would stop using it, learn a new word, and quitting pissing their panties over others who may or may not be whiners. You would think people would realize teenagers are just gonna be melodramatic and whiny from time to time.
You guys and your winter breaks :argh:. Well, I'm almost there, and to make it better, I think I get to go to my friends house on Wednesday to play the Wii for the first time :D.

If you're looking for an internship or another competitive position, then it's never too early to start looking. If you're just looking for a typical high-school summer position, then most of the places you look at may not be hiring people to start six months from now. (Though it never hurts to start looking early if there's a job you really want.)

To me it is just another slang word that will last a few years being used all the time then will go away and never be heard again except by old people who aren't "in" with the latest cool words to say.

So, what's wrong with being sad? Why is that such a crime? That's what bugs me. I can understand not wanting to deal with a bunch of unfounded complaining, but it's almost to the point that anyone expressing any sort of negative emotion is written off as being "emo" (as if that label should be some sort of scarlet letter). It's just something I have noticed as I have browsed the boards.

There's nothing wrong with being sad except that it makes everyone around you sad also. The way my friends and I use it isn't as an insult or anything, but just kind of a joke to cheer the person up, because no one likes when others are sad. I know it probably doesn't make sense that calling someone emo cheers them up, but a lot of times it works around my friends. I know what you mean, though, I really do not think it should be said to people you don't know, or know very little, as an insult. That's just dumb.
Like a lot of things, once Emo became heavily mainstreamed, it became direly uncool. The term now evokes teenage angst and out-of-perspective mopiness no-one-understands-me (not to be confused with depression, a medical condition). Since no one wants to be that guy, the term is used in the derogatory a lot of the time.
I remember when that article first ran, and everyone was like, "OMG! I bet it's Counterspell and Wrath of God and Upheaval all on the same card and it costs 1UUW."
@Emo: I know two things about this term: 1) Like said before - it's usually used deragatorally and 2) I've never heard a person call him/herself this. Therefore I'm not the one to be speaking about this.
On slightly frustrating Magic note: What the hell made a recent uncommon start costing about 30 bucks for a playset locally (Remand)? I know it's REALLY popular so I was expecting around 15 for a playset but 5 bucks a piece is really MORE than I willing to pay... for a recent uncommon at least... [/rant].

Seargent Sagara Sosuke is part of an elite military team, MITHRIL, that has a history of taking on the toughest assignments. Kaname Chidori is an average highschool student who, for reasons unknown to her, becomes an important military target. When Sosuke is assigned to protect her, there's only one catch - he can't let her know she's being protected. For Sosuke, that means taking on the toughest challenge he's ever faced - enrolling as a normal highschool student.
Full Metal Panic has something for everything, and, for once, it gets all of its elements right. It has side-splitting comedy, dynamic action sequences, a great storyline (involving kidnapping, hostages, giant robots... you name it), and a nice bit of romance all wrapped up in one neat package. If you like highschool comedies, you won't be disappointed, and if you like action/drama shows, you also won't be disappointed. How many shows can say that?
If you see this, or have seen it, you won't want to miss out on the pseudo-sequel, Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu. It is without a doubt the most hilarious anime I have ever seen, even funnier than AzuDaioh or Excel Saga. So if you haven't, go see it already.
5 bucks is pretty ridiculous for Remand, CA, but I say keep driving the price up. I've got a foil one.
Oh, and my friend go me a tournament pack of TS for Christmas. Magus of the Mirror (meh, now I have a total of two Magus' and they're both of the Mirror :mad:), Trickbind (happy), Stonewood Invocation (yippie!) and then... foil Ancestral Vision. (Woo-Hoo! *Does a little dance*)

@Photon: I meant my winter break, not my summer one. It's understandable to get jobs and stuff over the summer, but that's not the break I'm on right now.
@Pokemon Dungeon: Never played it and have no interest in it. Give me traditional Gold/Silver Version any day. Actually I'm probably going to get Diamond/Pearl because it looks interesting, not the least because the starters include a fire monkey and a penguin (I've been waiting for a penguin Pokemon for too long).
In about 10 minutes I'm going out to the nearby strip mall to see if they're hiring for the holidays. After that I might as well look up internships on Craig's List.

Hey everyone, I still don't feel great. I've got a bad head ache that nothing is able to help, but at least I don't constantly feel dizzy any more. I should be feeling fine sometime later tonight though.
Magic is getting expensive? I didn't even notice as I'm trying to quit :p.
I rented pokemon dungeon once. It was ok, not great. Thats what I thought until I couldn't figure out a nice way to keep more than my starting party member with me, and whenever you lose a dungeon you lose all of your items that are with you :mad:.

You should have:
Eggs
Frying Pan
Butter/something non-sticky for the pan
Heat Source (We'll use a range in this example)
Mixing Bowl (doesn't need to be huge)
Fork/Egg Beater
Spatula
Toppings (Suggestions include sausage, ham, bacon bits, cheese, spinach, broccoli flores)
Instructions
- Set your cooking range to the lower end of the Medium setting.
- Crack open 2 eggs into the mixing bowl, allowing the yolk and as much of the plasma as possible to flow into the bowl.
- Rotate the fork or the beater to spread out the yolks of the egg until you have a fine yellow liquid.
- Once the frying pan is warm, pour out the contents of the egg from the mixing bowl onto the frying pan. Try as hard as possible not to let it spread out too far unless you have a circular frying pan. Should that be the case, let it spread out in a circular fashion to the ends.
- While the underside of the omelette cooks, apply your toppings to the side of the omelette which is not finished cooking. While you spread out the toppings, most often the Omelette will have successfully cooked at this point.
- Use your spatula to fold the two sides of the omelette together upon itself, or if it is circular flip over one side of it onto the other, effectively folding it in half. Let it cook and then flip it over to the other side.
- Press the omelette down a bit, letting some of the excess juices flow, and then cook.
- Use the spatula to remove the omelette and serve.
SnoopDoggAtog (Starr)'s:CANADIAN TERIYAKI TOFU
4 cups snow peas
4 cups cubed white button mushrooms or whole tiny button shrooms
4 cups chopped yellow onion
3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 8-oz extra firm tofu steaks, cubed and cubes rolled in flour spice mix
Toasted sesame seeds
Flour spice mix
1 cup wheat or corn flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dried basil
Pinch salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
CANADIAN TERIYAKI SAUCE
1 tbsp (LOL 10 ml) maple syrup
1 tbsp (LOL 10 ml) rice vinegar or red wine vinegar
3 tbsp (LOL 30 ml) soy sauce
Pinch ground ginger
Pinch red chile powder
COOKING:
Heat vegetable oil in 16" wide or larger wok or deep skillet until a bit of onion dropped in starts sizzling briskly right away.
Add tofu, onion, garlic; stir fry for 1-2 minutes on high heat.
Add mushroom; stir fry for 5-10 minutes or until onions are translucent and mushrooms are starting to soften and brown.
Add snow peas and stir fry for 5-10 more minutes. Pods should be glistening and softly springy, but still green.
Pour in Canadian teriyaki sauce, stir, lower heat to medium, simmer for 5-10 more minutes or until mixture starts to become dry and cooked, whichever is first.
Salt to taste.
Remove from heat, garnish with toasted sesame seeds, and serve over steamed rice or with soba. 6-8 servings.

They aren't bad, they are just different. 99% of Pokemon fans will most likely have never touched a Fushigi no Dungeon game, so they won't know what to make of it. The game itself is not so much a Pokemon title, but really a Fushigi no Dungeon title with Pokemon characters, in actuality.

Edit: Does anyone know what "emo" means? I used to think I did- I thought it was a teen subculture based around a genre of whiny music, but based on how I am seeing it used on the forums, it basically seems to mean "anything you don't like."
P.S. I actually know what the word means, I just wish people would stop using it, learn a new word, and quitting pissing their panties over others who may or may not be whiners. You would think people would realize teenagers are just gonna be melodramatic and whiny from time to time.

So, what's wrong with being sad? Why is that such a crime? That's what bugs me. I can understand not wanting to deal with a bunch of unfounded complaining, but it's almost to the point that anyone expressing any sort of negative emotion is written off as being "emo" (as if that label should be some sort of scarlet letter). It's just something I have noticed as I have browsed the boards.

I remember when that article first ran, and everyone was like, "OMG! I bet it's Counterspell and Wrath of God and Upheaval all on the same card and it costs 1UUW."
On slightly frustrating Magic note: What the hell made a recent uncommon start costing about 30 bucks for a playset locally (Remand)? I know it's REALLY popular so I was expecting around 15 for a playset but 5 bucks a piece is really MORE than I willing to pay... for a recent uncommon at least... [/rant].

Seargent Sagara Sosuke is part of an elite military team, MITHRIL, that has a history of taking on the toughest assignments. Kaname Chidori is an average highschool student who, for reasons unknown to her, becomes an important military target. When Sosuke is assigned to protect her, there's only one catch - he can't let her know she's being protected. For Sosuke, that means taking on the toughest challenge he's ever faced - enrolling as a normal highschool student.
Full Metal Panic has something for everything, and, for once, it gets all of its elements right. It has side-splitting comedy, dynamic action sequences, a great storyline (involving kidnapping, hostages, giant robots... you name it), and a nice bit of romance all wrapped up in one neat package. If you like highschool comedies, you won't be disappointed, and if you like action/drama shows, you also won't be disappointed. How many shows can say that?
If you see this, or have seen it, you won't want to miss out on the pseudo-sequel, Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu. It is without a doubt the most hilarious anime I have ever seen, even funnier than AzuDaioh or Excel Saga. So if you haven't, go see it already.
5 bucks is pretty ridiculous for Remand, CA, but I say keep driving the price up. I've got a foil one.
Oh, and my friend go me a tournament pack of TS for Christmas. Magus of the Mirror (meh, now I have a total of two Magus' and they're both of the Mirror :mad:), Trickbind (happy), Stonewood Invocation (yippie!) and then... foil Ancestral Vision. (Woo-Hoo! *Does a little dance*)

@Photon: I meant my winter break, not my summer one. It's understandable to get jobs and stuff over the summer, but that's not the break I'm on right now.
@Pokemon Dungeon: Never played it and have no interest in it. Give me traditional Gold/Silver Version any day. Actually I'm probably going to get Diamond/Pearl because it looks interesting, not the least because the starters include a fire monkey and a penguin (I've been waiting for a penguin Pokemon for too long).
In about 10 minutes I'm going out to the nearby strip mall to see if they're hiring for the holidays. After that I might as well look up internships on Craig's List.

I rented pokemon dungeon once. It was ok, not great. Thats what I thought until I couldn't figure out a nice way to keep more than my starting party member with me, and whenever you lose a dungeon you lose all of your items that are with you :mad:.
