Hey guys. I've checked in on this thread quite a few times before, so I thought I'd stop by and ask for friendship. I've actually applied for friendship once before, but around that time I also got asked to help create another clan, and the thread was moving slow, so I didn't end up checking back.

Yukora and KoolKoal I'm sure already know me from the coffeehouse, and nan and Wrath of Dog from the A/M/D thread and my (now on hiatus) graphics shop. I've yet to meet Zirilian or Stormblind, I believe. Therefore, allow me to introduce myself once more. I go by Andy in the real world, am 22 and living at home after having just graduated college this past June, with a bachelors in English (focus on TESOL). I'm currently working as a telemarketer whilst studying Japanese and working on getting a passport, etc, so I can eventually go to Japan and teach English. I'm also a (insert several synonyms for big) anime fan, and I currently run the "Anime of the Week" for Magic Coffeehouse. I have a Wii, and have beat Twilight Princess. Other games I have are Monkey Ball, Rayman: Raving Rabbids, Red Steel, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Right now I just finished watching the series Black Blood Brothers - a very awesome show. I'll probably spend tomorrow watching more of the anime I got from my friend last Wednesday (32 gb worth). I can't decide if I want to wath Mai-Hime or Ergo Proxy.

Anyway, I hope to become a friend, and eventually a member after hanging out for a while. I know you guys have to vote on these things, so vote away. I've resolved some issues that kept me away from the site for a while, so I'll have more time to hang out and chat.

Edit: Also, a shout goes out to Twinkee, Sleeping Villain, and Charlie D - I've seen you all lurking here, and I know you all know (of) me as well, from various places.

So.. Ive been a bit busy latley.. But friday I was at a meeting with a firm here in town and I probably got myself a job I'll first start off working in the copying central downtown for a couple of months. Not too interesting, but it will be good experience and I will have something to do.

Then after a couple of months they have a position open for a two-year apprenticeship as a graphical designer It is so ****ing awsome, I never though I was going to be able to get something like that because there are so few such apprenticeships and their highly sought after. It will allow me to complete my education and get a good and steady job for two years while getting me lots of experience And yeah, now I have to start rehoning my photoshopping skills wich have gotten a bit rusty the last months. Expect to see me in contests and such ^^

So who else do I need an okay from until I can officially become a member of the clan? Also, please feel free to call me Daniel, as it is the name I tend to use on a day-to-day basis. Another question for all of you who care to answer: I have a 6GB Silver iPod, and a friend is looking to buy it off me. The condition is near perfect, with a small dent on the edge on top of it, and was curious what a fair price would be for it?

Good job, JC, finding a job. It's really what I need to do, but I'm decidedly too lazy. Luckily, I have a short vacation coming up during which I'll have lots of free time to look for one. I just have to make myself do it.

Man, I'm a freaking checkout operator at a local woolworths, and I get $13.20 an hour. I'd have expected most supermarkets to give, what, like $10 an hour at most to 21 year olds like myself.

And our checkout managers are like the only cool ones in the store

Well, minimum wage where I live is $8/hour, and that's somewhere around the vicinity of $7 USD. Most of the retail stores and restaurants pay around that, and McDonald's pays even less at the beginning, and justifies it as "training wage". Luckily for me though, lifeguards are unionized so I get around $18/hour. Concerning the iPod, as I said, it's a 6GB Silver Mini. Not sure if there's any other information I could give.

I still need a job. And studying for midterms wouldn't hurt either.

nan, you have to remember the exchange rate, becuase starting pay at $17 an hour here just doesn't happen, $13 is pretty good to start
