It's a coincidence, that you all thought my joke was the fact that it was today that the gunpowder plot happened. Sorry. Not my joke. But you'd have had to see V for Vendetta to get it, so I can't blame you.
In other news, I just submitted my Housing App to the University of Iowa.
Remember, Remember, the 5th of november. Good movie, just saw it a month agao.

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
Hello, I'm not dead. It's just that school and, well, mainly school, has been keeping me very busy. I intend to post more often in future, and I may even get back into mafia, who knows.
I saw V for Vendetta in theatres. Excellent movie; more than made up for the ending of Matrix: Revolutions.

V for Vendetta was an amazing movie, IMO. I saw it on vacation and thought it was pretty much great all around. The whole plot was interesting, and the characters were really interesting. Also, I <3 Natalie Portman.
Also, I'm up for article of the month, so everyone go vote for me!

Now the question arises, the casting directors had the decision between her and Scarlett Johannson. Did they make the right choice? My friends and I all say, "Hell no!"

Natalie Portman was amazing in that rle. Scarlet is cool and all, but you can't disrespect Natalie like that. I live and breath Natalie Portman. I'm biased, I admit it.

Scarlett and Natalie are like my two hottest women alive. However, I think Portman is better for the role. Scarlett is more voluptuous, which I don't really see fitting that character for some reason. Plus Natalie was oddly sexy as a bald woman (O_o) and I don't think Scarlett would have pulled that off as well.
I am going to watch V for Vendetta soon. A friend of mine bought it recently, so we are going to watch it one of these days. I am looking forward to it.
Anyway, life's good. Just finished a school assignment today, so now I have a few days to relax.
I'm voting a pretty strait democratic ticket, yes on smoke free Ohio, no on smoke less Ohio.
(Smoke less is a constituional amentment that only bans smoking in some places, so if it passes, then smoke free doesn't go into effect.)

Yea, I heard about some Garphical errors in the RC2, but no major issues. Or am I wrong with this?
I saw V for Vendetta on a boat when I was going to London a few months ago. It's a great movie, although it didn't quite touch me.
Natalie or Scarlett for this role? I think Natalie did it better than Scarlett could've done this. I mean, they're both quite girly women, but Natalie is a bit more... how do you say it... assertive, and that is what this role needed.
My brother knows a lot about computers and he has told me a lot of bad things about it. Enough to keep away from it. One thing I heard was that none of your Windows programs will work.

Well, as usual the forum awards are a pile of crap. Although I've tried to lighten them up a bit by nominating Francisco Liriano for rookie of the year, kingcobweb for nicest member, and Harkius for funniest member.
Last year I nominated Xenphire for best mod, GRAH for best member, and danny cheung for most helpful member. So the mods are probably used to my wacky hijinks.
You must literally be ROFLMAO since he actually made the ballot for that.
I thought about voting, decided to eat a big sandwich instead.
I didn't have the gas (or the cash to get the gas) to get to the voting place. I barely had enough gas to get home, so I went there and had the sandwich. The turkey was a little dry, but other than that it was tasty.
Besides, I've been disillusioned from the whole process since the Bush-Gore presidential fiasco, and especially after Bush-Kerry.

Still, can you please explain to me the whole "disallusionment" phenomenon? I don't get it all. Heck, congress is voted by a f'ing popular vote....

Well, for one...Gore did win the popular vote. I was raised to believe that the will of the people decides elections, not certain states or Supreme Courts.
Al Gore won that election.....Florida be damned.
As far as Bush-Kerry...that vote was just like deciding which pile of feces smells better. The fact that the Democrats couldn't finsdanybody that could beat Bush was astonishing.
Sadly, the governorship of Maryland wasn't a much better choice

I'm sure there are people who are still convinced Bush stole the elections.
But those are PRESIDENTIAL elections. They don't go by popular vote. These do....
And the recount going to happen in virginia is completely fair imo (and im democrat), and would happen in almost all civilized countries if it was that close.
In other words, with rare exceptions, elections such as these shouldnt be so.....disliked by americans.

I disagree. I thought that Edwards/Dean was a far superior ticket to Kerry/Edwards. I think that Edwards/Dean would have beaten Bush.

Clinton was on my TV the other day trying to get people to vote for Mike Hatch for Governor. Luckily Pawlenty won.
Haha, I saw that ad too. I was like "what the hell is this", and you could definitely tell Clinton probably didn't know who Mike Hatch was, and didn't give a **** either way. I'm a pretty big Pawlenty fan, so I'm glad at least he held his seat. He's such a cool, regular guy while Hatch is just a boring bag of douche.
Being as I watched Pawlenty get checked by Kent Hrebek in a celebrity hockey game and then after the game almost kneed him in the back of the head without knowing who he was I like the guy. After the celebrity game he came down, sat in the stands with everyone else and watched the Wild do their skills competition, my dad and I shook his hand as we left and I was going, "Who the hell was that." Mind you, I'm a fairly knowledgable person in things, but I just didn't recognize him nor expect him to be out and about without much guard. But I guess the two big guys sitting on both sides of him weren't just his good buddies.
I hated the ads that hatch was throwing up there ****ting on Pawlenty, "Tim Pawlenty said he would not raise taxes... well he did." Well no **** he did, hmm... multi billion dollar deficit, what do you think he's going to increase spending AND lower taxes. Oh wait, that's what his predecessor did. HURR!
