Thread 5 already?? Man it's been a wild ride. Here's the info per usual.

Alliance of Rogue Deckers has formed more than 2 years ago on the old MTGNews site and has transported itself here in what I shall call "The Great Exodus." We stand for all that is not popular about decking but is still competitive. Let us venture forth and claim more netdecks together!

Potential members: Please include in your first post a deck you built yourself with no outside help aside from card lists and spoilers. Membership will be determined by vote of our clan council.

I would like to be a friend too. Netdecking isn't my style and I totally agree with an open mind. Too bad i'm in R&D though, this is awesome to.
Also, how could I register to the "block party"

OK now for the update post for catching up:

1) For those not following we're still trying to get everyone's decks decided for this MWS Block Party tournament. Blocks taken so far are:

Choco, Zirilian, and I believe Sam has yet to pick blocks.

Lastly, when the tourney is over, can someone PLEASE remind me to change the title of this thread? Don't wanna leave that up forever.

Edit: Since this is the info post, I thought I'd edit this in: As per previous decision, the only blocks to choose from are Ravnica, Kamigawa, and Tempest blocks.

Nice a new thread hehe. If i was to play in the block party i probably would choose onslaught or kamigawa. I wish i could join the block party tournament but too bad i cant because i know its going to be fun.

I am almost done with this semester then going to do clinicals during the summer 40 hours a week...

I may have been a bit quick on including Zirilian's name up on that list. Suppositions can go too far. I think it's better to ask blue and Revenant to see if friends will be allowed or even if its too late to allow others into the tourney. Personally I'm OK with it as long as available blocks are around still. The problem is there are four people left to choose blocks and there is only Ravnica, Tempest, Odyssey, and Kamigawa blocks to choose from so I doubt we're taking any new entries based on that premise alone.

I think it's fine to allow friends but they need to submit soon because we'll only have enough spaces for as many blocks as there are left available (not that there are that many people scrambling to get in ;))

now i know i've mentioned i was doing odyssey block many a time... :3

I have been looking at a little bit of reanimator decks somewhat for legacy and ive been thinking about making a reanaimator deck with blue splashed in it so it will have a much better chance against control. Plus maybe card draw such as aks, and fact or fictions as well as mental note would be good in there but im not totally sure on mental note being in a reanimator deck considering reanimator has a bunch of discard outlets anyhow. Hmm just an idea though and i might approach making a UB renanimator deck for legacy...

well i kinda just threw it together and, when i played it a few times, i worked out really well. it is very evil...

It's such a good thing we're doing this on MWS SAC. I don't think Apprentice could handle a deck that size.

As for my deck I decided to make a few changes. Here's absolutely final decklist. I'll edit the link in the post up there to include SAC's deck and change mine and include BweeBwee's SB. Mind you it's only a minor change really compared to what I was originally going to do.

I think I've done that before but I have to do it again since we've grown so much in ... oh, 10 days. We're starting to win GvG's, too.

The only reason I'm not playing Guild Wars right now is because my parents are letting someone else stay where my computer is for a couple days. I'm listening to Reel Big Fish as I type this, they have ... an eclectic list of songs.

So this weekend. me and Crimson tested decks.
Me Vs Crimson
First round. I lost. no way to kill his Avatar. I had to chump blocka and stall until I died. I need better cards than Smother to deal with bigger creatures. Unfortunetly there are none.
Second Round. I SB Xantid Swarm and Gigapede. Crimson couldn't deal with my Xantid Swarm Blanket. I won.
Third Round. Same thing as Second Round.

Me Vs BweeBwee's Deck
First two rounds. I mulled and then quit. I believe Crimson got out Arc-Slogger and I just quit for one of them.
Third Round. Attacked early and got crimson down to 14 or so. He used that 4 damage reacurring burn spell on me. god I hate that. He then got two Arc-Sloggers out. I lost.

SAC's Deck Vs Crimsons
I added in more lands to the build. 22 was not enough. (also added in 4 Cephelid Colloseum.) First Round
Mulled down to 5. Quit.
Second Round. Early on got creatures and beat him down Got Finkel and Mr. Teeth out. Crimson was down to 13(12?) He played two Tidal Krakens. I did a final attack. Got him down to one and then lost. (if only I had more cards in Graveyard...)

BweeBwee's Vs Crimson
I played molten rain early turn. (Bwee: You need more of these) Proceeded to burn Crimson down. Played Wall of Blood and then the game started to slow down. each turn for us was a: draw. land. then go. Until finally I think Crimson EOT tried to dominate my Wall. I in response sacced Pyrite SpellBomb and topdecked Grab the Riens. I won.

Well 24 land is alot... cut it down to 22. I was thinking. Your deck could have been godly pre-banning. 4 Sharpnel Blast... good thing.
The testing was that extensive as we only played 7(8?) games.

Here is a uwr scepter control deck that i have been working on this deck for a day and in my opinion scepter control can still do pretty well in legacy if played by a good skilled control player. This deck is far from being finished imo because i havent done any playtesting on it at all and i havent really spend that much time on it at all. Right now imo the deck looks alright. All suggestions are welcomed. Here is the scepter control deck.
