Thanks a lot Rian... due to your link, I ended up spending two hours browsing youtube last night! And I didn't even find anything very good. How is it that everything there is ALMOST funny/interesting, but not quite? Even your link, that was just.... I mean, why publish it? Oh well. Mike sent me a funny youtube link, ask him for it, it's long but worth it.
My wife's 30 today, but I shouldn't laugh, I'll be 31 in 2 months...
The pokemon youtube video is a work of art.
My favorite pokemon is probably Dratini, etc.
I loved training that guy up back in the day.
I am about to the same part in Emerald that I always get to before I stop playing, but my hack might make it more interesting.
Yes I am also watching the Degrassi: The Next Generation season 3 dvds that I bought.
Is anyone going to the coldsnap prerelease?
I would really hope that the prere isn't underattended....bahh.
It is bad enough that it costs more than usual for me.
I am excited about the TS prere, already. hahahah.

I have to work this Saturday, traded for next Friday off, so I may be camping while CS is Prereleasing. . . on one hand I am -_- to miss what is sure to be a bit of old-school Magic, but on the other hand, I will be alone with a redhead in the woods. . .
Happy b-day, r_e's partner-in-crime! I shoulda sent more truffles! Made Jim Beam Dark Chocolate ones today
Brian....I really what some of your chocolates!! OH PLEASEOH PLEASE!!!!
So yeah....these 4 clan member conversations are the BOMB!!! I think we need to open our doors to some serious recruting. There doesn't seem to be anyone around these days. Summer is upon us but even the infrequent visitor isn't posting.
You know what.....I'm feeling a bit surly today so I'm gonna let 'er all out!
Warning....rant!!
So here is how I see it!
There are only really 4 of us posting to this thread! I have seen Sedds around here more than most of the other members in this clan, and that is weird! No offense to you Sedds....I'm glad you're posting!:D Damn....even Dan paid us a visit before others in the clan have posted on the new thread! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?!?
Robynne is posting more and seems to be peaking out of her doldrums.....very happy to here that! You go girl!
I understand not being into the Magic thing but there is little on this thread that is about Magic so that excuse doesn't fly with me. I love the DUX but he isn't posting anymore. WHY DUX!?!? Where are you!?! Are you still mad at me? I swear I had nothing to do with any of it!!!;):p
Zig is gone. He hasn't even logged into his AIM account since May. Found a spliff and lit 'er up....gone for days....fishing maybe!
Then there is Mike! I love you Mike but you never post! You lurk and read the thread but you say nothing! GRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Speak damn it!
OK I'm done....happy birthday to the R_E mrs.:) I don't really remember 30.....I liked it...I know that, but the days I don't recall!

Mike doesn't post because I forgot to link to the new thread from the old thread, and he hates that because he's a dork... So he's on a posting strike. Sorry Mike! Is that better? Now post.
I think Zig needs a kick in the choad! If such a body part exists, anyway.
Man is it ever warm here... bright warm sunny weather for like 10 days straight. You'd think it was summer or something! And me without my speedo.
Which reminds me, saw Click last night, and it was pretty funny. Had a good message too (got a bit serious about half way through, in fact it was a bit weird to go from farting in people's faces to "you'll die unhappy if you don't take time for family"). I recommend it to pretty much anyone here. 7/10, and you don't even have to be a Sandler hardcore. Suitable for dates, even.
Working out today - chest. Only problem is the 45 minute drive to the gym... but I need a haircut anyway and the girl who does it best is out that way.
It's pretty warm here, also. At Limited Champs I opened a foily Voidslime, hopefully I can trade it for some Sizzettron stuff I need. I only opened 1 dual in my birthday box(it was Hallowed Fountain at least), no Simic Sky Swallower..2 Voidslime total(1 foil, 1 non). A pretty disappointing box, honestly.
I want to see Click also..Talena and I saw Lake House earlier this week..it was a cool movie, though I thought the ending pandered to the masses alot...the Harkins near where we live has a huge play zone for kids(popcorn, video games, movies etc) so that's awesome, makes it alot easier for us to see movies.
You just drop your three girls off at some area with popcorn, and come back and they're still there? That's good. I mean, that they didn't get stolen and stuff.
Yeah Lake House was okay, but like you said, the ending (and a lot of the rest) was a bit cookie-cutter. Then again, some movies are okay like that, and you just unplug your head and watch. Coulda been a rental, though.
Damn....even Dan paid us a visit before others in the clan have posted on the new thread! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?!?
PWNED is what the hell that is. Pure and simPWNED.
Had another moment apart from real life. I'm half considering walking back in the door, provided that's cool. I still wouldn't be posting much, probably for a while longer, but as long as "even Dan" is posting more than other people, I suppose I could consider myself up to snuff.
Hehehe, I'm always up to snuff.
That aside, I have actually made it to two movies, An Inconvenient Truth, which the science behind it all checks out, still didn't change that Al Gore just pisses me off. Decent flick, and if it raises awareness just a little bit (while not catering to Gore's self-serving agenda too much,) it'll have done a good job. And then the new Omen. I thought they did a very solid job for a remake, honestly, but horror is such a strange topic, as you've got like eight different types of puritans that it'll never be good enough, and then pretty much everyone else that likes horror movies are just horror movie ****s, and think any horror film that comes out is decent. The types that saw Final Destination and enjoyed it.
I have no intention of making it to Click, as I can't stand movies that do the funny to heartwarming crap. I may have left the clan, but I still snort boulders in my off time. Heartwarming has no place in my movies. Just sex, violence, swearing, and drug use.
Edit- nice hint, Daron.
I didn't know they censored ****. Take those four asterisks to mean "loosely moraled woman," or "slit with a u instead of an i"
Even Editter- Not only did I get my point across in ****, I also pulled of a cheap excuse to say "slit"
I persoanlly would love to see more Dan! I won't be ignored over here!! And since we really only have 4 people posting that are in the clan then you already have 25% of the majority in the bag!;)
4th of July coming up and I am going nowhere for the first time in 4 years! Usually we go to the beach and start our vacation this week but we realized that no matter how cool it is to watch the fireworks out over the ocean....the amount of retards surrounding us on a normally quiet beach gets a little much for me! So we are going the following week.
I'll keep you guys up to date as to when I will not be posting.:D

Hey, still here. Got more hours at work recently and almost finished my room. Anyways, I don't have long here, heading off to my dad's tonight and then away for Canada Day weekend. HAPPY CANADA DAY! (or 4th of July for the americans in here - though maybe I'll be back before then.) See ya!
Yeah Happy Canada Day, weee!
I think my wife's parents are taking the boys out for part of the day, so I'll stay here and work. (Which is a good thing, because I like work.)
I suppose I should post, but I've no idea what to post about. Let's see what I can come up with.
xkcd.com/comics/useless.jpg
Personally, I can't think of anything more perfect for me. It's like whoever draws this comic lived my life, and then was reborn with some comic skill abilities so as to express it, or something.
Thursday, it decided to rain down here, and in my nearly orgasmic excitement, I somehow tore half of the toenail off what is best described as my left "ring toe." What's worse, it wasn't a rip, but a massive cut, so the skin under where the nail is is also cut. It doesn't look very bad, unless you look at it close up, but it's pretty nasty once you realize just how much damage there is.
Finally, I've been listening to massive amounts of Tegan and Sara lately. If you'ven't heard this duo yet, you really should try them out. And if you're one of our Candian members, you extra should try them out, as they hail from that great frozen tundra to the North.

@Daron: In case you're just being thick and not sarcastic, obviously it's a supervised area etcerera, you don't just dump your kids in the middle of the theater or something. It costs 6 dollars per child per movie, so essentially you're just buying them a movie ticket, but, they go to a SUPERVISED playland(there are always at least 2 employees there) instead of having to sit through a movie.
@Dan: You've always got it.
We probably won't do anything for the 4th of July..I"m not much of a fan of that holiday..I think people in the US are self-serving enough without having a holiday to reinforce the notion that this is okay.
Sigh..alright I'm lying, we'll probably cook on the grill because it's a good excuse to do so, and obviously kids love fireworks so we'll go watch those too. I just won't say 'Happy 4th of July' at all.
So I hear we have been talking a bit about weightloss and boy do I have a program for you. You have all known me to travel a bit, up and down 8 hours of rocky terrain hunting with the kelabit tribe, traversing deep underground caverns, and even climbing to the top of the highest mountain in borneo.
Well friends, you can't do that without gaining all sorts of weight and boy did I feel it. I guestimate I was around 160 when I first entered Japan. While walking around in Kaiyukan I heard people shouting "baluga" or "whaleshark" and knew they were talking about me.
So what did I do about it? Well listen carefully folk as what I did you can do too! It's a Certified 2 step process. First eat Cheese, you can eat what you want whenever you want as long as you eat cheese and alot of it. It really doesn't matter what kind as long as it dominates all your meals.
Now your probably thinking that the second is a butt load of exersize....you couldn't be more wrong. You have to minimise your exersize routine to nothing. Allow me to show an exerpt of my exersize log, generalized to illistrate my average daily activity for 6 months.

It took effort to get up today, didn't really feel like it. I checked my e-mail and looked to see if anyone was online....nobody...so I just went back to bed. Maybe in a few hours people will be online.
That's not sad friends, thats strict physical observation in conjunction with my all cheese diet! Whats the result? After six months I have lost between 15 to 20 lbs! Yes I am currently only 138lbs! Hows that for Success in weightloss.
So forget your Atkins, southbeach, or protien diets and go with the Daggertooth aproved diet. All you want to eat and strict monitering of physicaly activity and your good to go.

Right....you can't argue with 20lbs of pure weightloss.
So I gotta say that Mt Fuji kicked my butt. Now when I say it kicked my butt I'm not saying that I'm tired or sore. I'm saying that on several occasions I thought I couldn't make it, I had to trade packs to my younger sister because it was too heavy for me...despite having no problem with the same stuff while hiking Mt Kinabalu...and moving very slowly.
I started at the beginning, not camp five where you can drive to, and it took me 10 hours to get to camp 8.5. I tried sleeping 4 hours before moving out at 2:30 to get to the top in a rainstorm and see nothing but the top mountain hut which sold me ramen noodles for $8.00. Heading down was a pain as I was incredibly sore. Near the bottom my right foot felt like all the bones were moving independantly of each other and soon I was in intense pain.
20 hours in 2 days to cover only 20 miles and a total change in elevation of 6000m. I can't believe it took me so long...uggg. X_X
I'll post how fun the entire thing was tomorrow....a bit late now. But the truth of the matter is that the mountain was a blast and making it to the top was great.
Later all,

Chris, you probably lost a lot of muscle tissue, accounting for the weight loss. This would also explain why you had such a hard time climbing the mountain, when you're actually lighter than you were when you were climbing mountains all the time - now you're doing so with a lot less muscle! A poor diet, and sitting in bed a lot, will do that to ya.
Good to see Mike posting in the thread again, although he's still not saying anything that makes sense.
Nick - actually, thanks for explaining. I've never been to a theatre that had something like that (that I know of).
Yeah, nothing like ramen noodles (empty carbs) mixed in with some high fat cheese once a day, followed by not enough overall nutrition or calories, and a sedentary depressed lifestyle to get your body in "shape"! Let's call it the all-American-in-Japan diet. On the bright side, Chris, soon you'll weigh as much as the average person you pass on the street. If you ever make it outside, I mean.
What do you mean I don't make sense? I relayed three very clear stories involving a comic the describes me perfectly, my newest severe injury, and a musical group that I think everyone should give a listen to. What is so nonsensical about that?
See Chris, even Daron, our resident nurse agrees with me that the weight loss was due to the atropy of muscle.
