I'm going to send that to all of my college friends who watch anime in like 3 minutes
By the way, Omna, the weapon was a Holy Sword for Fayt, makes the game seem unfair in Airyglyph right now, and then as I progressed I had enough for Nel's Osprey Dagger... my Lvl 9 Firebolt just sucks in comparison to this dagger user's physical attacks now. My guess is that this shouldn't happen.
Congrats to Omna for reaching the Paladin part of the quest. Tough fight against Milon, but you prevailed!
Thanks everyone for the early birthdays and stuff... it's now my goal to try to get as much Sanctuaries stuff ready as possible before then... hopefully do something with it at that point. That would be sweet
I also started off today feeling REALLY good as I have the day off and I got a customer compliment in the office today! Apparently there are some who really like my service Now to just make sure I don't get the big head about it and keep it up
aaaanyway, I'd just like to point out that the RAF 5 has finished. Raf 6 signups are open for three days. It's a forum game that is fun for the whole family
Essentially its Rock Paper Scissors with guns
EDIT: @"this" from Arguas -. I don't get law #17 though...
Anime of the week? That's a cool idea. I'm not an anime fan, though. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I don't watch much TV.
Today I'm going to the card shop to buy the U/B precon deck so that I can get my snow Islands. After that it's pretty much free time for me. I need to finish reading my summer reading book, Native Son. Good book, even though it's somewhat depressing.
That's bittersweet. Do you have a regional high school to go to? It's good to see that you don't have to go to a school you don't like anymore, though.
Yeah, but it's a public school though, something my parents are not too fond of it though. But in hte 30 minutes I've known this, we've been toying with the idea of moving back to philly.
OMFG are you serious!?!?!?! Your one lucky kid! I would kill to have my school close (not really kill, but it would be cool) our school is a trash heap. I would love to see it close down. I would go to a neighboring highschool, but none of my friends are, and I am still learning the same thing at my school. But still, that is awesome news POTN.
I like Time Stop. I do. But I can never think of a deck that I would rather put it in over an honest to God counter.
I so wanted to like Oyobi. Maybe I'm just a hardass, but I just can't see myself spending 7 mana for a subpar token generator. If I'm not gonna run Luminous Angel, I'm sure as hell not gonna run her weird sister who watches too much anime and caves to anything remotely Sanrio.
My brother had this Ross Perot-like fascination with this card, for all the reasons mentioned above.
Seriously, man. Put on a shirt, and some underwear, for Christ's sake.
Reduce to Dreams: Hey guys, here I am! Affinity you better watch out! Kataki, War's Wage: Sorry, man.
RtD: What are you saying. Hum of the Radix: We've been trying to get this party started for a while, with no real success.
Kataki: Yeah, so pull up a binder, get yourself comfy, and just chill out and keep your fingers crossed. Maybe we'll see play. Tanglewalker: Hey guys, did you just hear? Affinity just got neutered! The artifact lands were banned.
RtD: But... but... my dreams of stardom!!
I love how they managed to make Ipseria into a really flavorful card. Just like in the old legends, when the Sphinx would try and guess something you might be thinking, and if she got it right, she would magically make birds appear out of nowhere... or something like that.

I had also considered the lyrics to "Doncha Wish Your Girlfriend Was Hot Like Me?"
Because, you know, Merfolk are coming back in TS, guys. Just like they were coming back in RAV and in 9E. But seriously, I'm sure they will be back this time.

What goes on in Private school?? That's my question.
Is it just like regular school, except maybe better and less students?? I don't understand the whole concept about having private schools.
My mom went to one before, though. Never really asked her about it though.
On the anime topic, I've hardly watched it. I've seen it here and there, but what's so great about it?? It's basically a Japanese cartoon. You have all these anime lovers at school wearing some ninja bandanas trying to look like some Naruto blonde boy for some reason. I thought they were bandanas with flashy mirror at first.
In fact, what's so great about Japan?? I think it would be a cool place to visit, but it's not one of my favorites. My grandma and my aunt don't like Japan a whole lot at all because of what they did back to Korea and China long ago.
*winces*
Those were horrible times. They lived through it in Korea. (They're Koreans if you haven't guessed.)(They moved to America years ago)
Yeah, that's practically true of all of East Asia: every nation there hates Japan for some reason or another, especially Korea and China. Ditto for Japan and every other East Asian nation. My art teacher is Korean (she was adopted by non-Asian parents, though) and she has a bunch of Korean friends who refuse to eat at Japanese restaurants because of what they did. She doesn't hate them, though.
I still eat at Japanese rstaurants though. I talk to a few Japanese people, but I don't know if I'd get into a serious relationship with one because of the fear of what happened long ago.
My dad discussed this with me yesterday while we ate out at a Korean restaurant. He said something like:
Long ago the Japanese slaughtered and raped MANY people in Korea. They did very bad things to them and killed a billion of people. In China, Japan used the Chinese as lab rats or tests to try lab experiments on. It was insane China and Korea where killed and slaughtered and even tested by the Japanese.
I refuse to act like my dad's side of the family (all koreans with the exception of grandfather) and say I hate Japanese people because that's like racism, but I still have a fear about them. And for all that they've grown to be such a successful and well-known country.
EDIT: Yaay!!! 1000th post!! Not a very happy post to be my 1000th though, but it's extremely meaningfull and I hope everyone of you remember what I just said.

Less kids. Hornier girls. And I think more homework.
@Photon: Lol. Nice cards!
I love japanese foods. My favorite is the California Roll. Mmm.....now I'm hungry.....
Ive been here since like the start and im barely halfway to 1k and a custom title...i have a good title i want to use, but first i have to be a patient person and make it to 1k. Then the real fun begins...
And what Mortal Wombat said is true, much of East Asia dislikes Japan... I dont understand why people would hate a group for past actions, but i guess it can just be grudges and stuff.
They tend to hold grudges to things that were important and greatly effected them.
That event the Japan did against Korea and China, was greatly wrong and they never forgot it.
What's even worse, is some Japanese deny it's ever happened. That's just plain bullsh*t and wrong!! My grandmother and her sister lived through that time and know what happened.
I really dont mind the fact that i go to a public school , i dont like the fact that many private schools seem to be stricter and more competitive. I like the laid back, relaxing, just f around and have fun while working...sometimes like my school is. Sure ill be regretting this in the future, but I try to live with no regrets. Im not sure about hornier girls at private school...there are quite a few at my school...I dont like attention, so larger class sizes i sort of like, I can just hide in the crowd as another normal person...
Edit: I agree with Tneill about denying things. If people deny that happened, then they are ****ing stupid. Its like those people that say the Halocaust never happened. I would like to find out what the hell they are thinking and show them how stupid their thoughts are.

While indeed true people should never forget these past occurences they should be used as a lesson more than a reason for a grudge. That is one of the reasons that the Middle East is as ****ed up as it is right now.
No need in hiding my face or trying to stick in the crowd as a normal person. Go the extra yard.
Dare to be different!
Well sometimes I will do that, that was how i used to be. I was the person everyone looked up to as smart or knew what to do. I was a leader , however everyone pestering me started to get on my nerves and I sometimes i just need to blend into the crowd and get a break from everyything.

OMFG. My school closed. See previous rants about why this is good. But I have no idea where to go for 9th grae now... out of town, likely.
