Wow. Spangle Is Freaky. Sorta like me when I was younger. Seriously that pic looks like me when I was 7. Except more eviler. Combine me at with me now and you get spangle. But then how old am I? Does that make me 10 or 20... timestreams are ****ed up.
Haha, I normally look around 7 - I look older than I usually do in that pic. Scary.

Well, I just took like 45 minutes to write a post here, then something happened with my computer and I lost the whole thing.
Since I really don't feel like rewriting it, and it would take too long anyway since I honestly just want to go to bed, I'll summarize.
Does anyone else play Guild Wars?
I'll bet it's good thing, actually, since if I make a post longer than a paragraph, no would read it anyway.

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.

Well, I like some of the coldnsnap art alot actually. I like that they're bringing back the style used for Ice Age. I just love the artwork for the card in there Arcane Denial.
Yikes!! Well, if it was more than $5 to go to the CS PR, then I'm sorta glad I didn't go. I don't like to pay to much for a PR. I'm trying to save up for KH2 as it is. I want it really bad.
Well, I just decided not to go to the CS prerelease at all. I'll just buy the singles when they come into stores. Anyone know any good stores online that are cheap and fast? CardKingdom is good, but a little pricey.
What's this 1,20 dollar?? I see numbers like that a lot. They're like 2,30 and stuff. What's that supposed to mean. also, I'm gettin a picture of meh soon. Or i might just keep my identity a secret.
It is better to learn about someone through details and not an image though.
@Alacar: I loooooo-oove your set. I love all 5 of each legendary sister. They're so amazing. What's your story line. I was going to feature some of your cards in my upcoming set, but I don't want to copy your storyline. I want it original, but use some of the same cards. I've found many other images to use though.
This week's regular is Mamelon, our resident unblockable shapeshifter.
Mamelon, who's real name remains a secret to all but the most exclusive individuals on this site, came to MTGS some time ago as a lurker, to read over the spoilers and Rumor Mill threads. However, it wasn't until a relatively recent time that she actually joined. Upon joining, she first joined the Gaymers thread, and then moved onto other clans.
Mamelon takes her name from a character in a series of short stories she had began working on- Mamelon was the name of a shapeshifter with no "true" form, and she was on a quest to find her natural shape. Mamelon was also the much talked about "secret" character in ethersphere's and my FFVI RPG on our site, the Den- as she had originally planned on playing as Mamelon in the game, but decided against it. The other players had already read preview stuff and heard about this mysterious shapechanger, however, and thus a rumor was born.
Mamelon's favorite place on MTGS is the Coffeehouse, although she still likes the Rumor Mill and the Custom Card forums- particularly Custom Card Games.
When asked about her favorite card, she said she had several, but she really loves cards that do somethin unusual in an elegant way- citing Future Sight as an example of this. However, the first card she ever became very excited about was Uyo, Silent Prophet. She really liked the concept of the Moonfolk, and loves spell copying effects- plus, it's hard not to like a random kabuki chick in a fabulous robe. Mamelon states that she also carries some nostalgia, as she was the card that drew her into Kamigawa block, and in all honesty, into the game of MTG itself. Plus, there are many stories she and I could share about Uyo-related hijinks, including one particularly amusing story about using Uyo to destroy a broken local format.
Mamelon's favorite deck is her pet deck, which is a deck that is sort of her signature deck (everyone in our playgroup has one). Her deck's name is Polymorph. It is a mono-blue deck operating around cards such as Clone, and Followed Footsteps, and essentially does everything to replicate the deck of the opponents by copying creatures, enchantments, spells, even lands through use of cards like Annex and Fellwar Stone. Mamelon adores it because, quite literally, every time she plays it is is an entirely different deck. She enjoys that it was a challenge to build, and likes that even though it is mono-blue, it is a refreshing departure from mono-blue typical antics. She also loves having an alternate win condition in flipping Jushi Apprentice to make her opponent draw 30 (I exaggerate, of course, but I can testify that while playing Mamelon, it can make you draw through your deck in no time flat).
Mamelon's other hobbies include video games (her favorite game series is Wild Arms), anime and manga (although she adds that they are much less exotic to her now), writing, drawing, roleplaying, D&D, music, and reading. She also has a somewhat impressive collection of manga.
Mamelon says that while most people may find this to be obvious, she has a lifelong hatred of violence (whereas I on the other hand, embrace it), and also has a strong like for sex and sexuality (and again, I am her polar opposite in this regard). Some of her dreams include becoming a professional writer, and perhaps even having a romance, but ultimately she says her dream is to have more dreams, to have more of a choice as to what kind of life she can live. She also dreams of being a princess in a magical castle, with a secret identity so she can fight interplanetary villains (read: She's Sailor freaking Saturn).
Currently, she is working on her own MTG block (yet unnamed), playing the character Jody Sondheim in Rise, and someday hopes to complete her novel.
When asked what her favorite thing about the Coffeehouse is, she said the casual environment and the people that frequent it- along with the cookies, chai tea, and garden salad (I will warn you, Mamelon has a legendary sweet tooth).
When asked about her favorite Coffeehouse patron, she said she couldn't pick one favorite, but listed Yamaneko, Kraj, Janus, Shinobi, PurpleD, Alacar, and Yukora.
And that's it for the Regular of the Week!
Next week, there will be no Regular of the Week, due to capitalism ruining my life. Instead, enjoy a classic episode of I Love Lucy!
Here, the prerelease costs $30 for sealed (5 packs [or a tournament pack and 2, or a tournament pack and 3 for smal sets] and you can win up to 7 or 9 more packs , depending on the flight) and $18 for draft, and you can win up to 9. You get to keep what you opened or drafted. So if you can win a few games (which I usually can) you can come out with more than you paid for.
Here is how it works- You gain life with the Well of Life, and then trigger Well of Lost Dreams for some SEXY card drawing action! With routine lifegain and card advantage on your side, you CANNOT lose! And since this is artifact-dependant, you can run it ANY deck!
As I stated last week, card draw is VERY good. If you ask any pro player "hey how do I unlock the secret of hot awesome winmore tech?", he will say "By drawing cards, newb!" (well, actually, first he will probably say "Security! Get this loon away from me!", at least in my experience). You will find that drawing cards is a surefire way to win games. Even if all those cards are crap, you still win by drawing a lot of cards. I'm not really sure how this works, but I think it has something to do with El Nino.
But let's not dismiss the lifegain aspect either. Believe it or not, lifegain is the most powerful ability in the game. "SURELY NOT, NO," I hear you say. Well, it is the truth. Why else would anyone want to play Loxodon Hierarch? I mean, it's a ****ing elephant, how good can THAT be? I'll tell you why- it's got a hot little lifegain aspect available to it, also. So to be able to gain 2 life each turn, and draw 2 extra cards, you will be in such a good position that even the faster and nastiest decks will piss themselves in dire fear at the sight of you.
Of course, some critics will say that this combo is a bombo, as you have to tap out each turn to make it work- which may or may not leave you with mana to activate the Well of Lost Dreams. To this I say "STFU N00BZ!" Tapping out means you are rocking the damn game with awesome-ass plays, so I can't imagine any single deck archetype that wouldn't want to be totally tapped out at the end of each turn. Plus, you can always use other cards to generate mana. Some would say that having a few Birds of Paradise would work, but I would have to playtest this to be sure. A more efficient way would be to run something like Dimir Houseguard (I figure you will want to play Dimir, as it is the only guild that can match the sheer level of awesomeness held by this combo) and then sacrifice Cathodian to it. Sure, you will burn for 1 each time you do- but who cares, you just gained 2 life and got 2 hot new cards!
BAH! that doesnt even work! If all lands are tapped you cant pay X to the other well! But nothing photon makes works. But it gave me a good laugh to read the whole post.
@Everyone. I went to the coldsnap prerelease and cracked open 2 adarkar valkyrie and a rimestone dragon...not bad eh?
...yh right. Though there was one who got 2 valkyries playing along side. God...they were damn sexy helping each other! Anyway...i got what i wanted the most in coldsnap 4X rune snag 4X flashfreeze. They are great coujnters
Right, that's the joke. Thanks for being that jerk who explains a joke right after it is told and makes it totally unfunny.
And I wouldn't say nothing I make works. A lot of what I make works great, thanks very much. But, the point of super secret tech is to come up with really stupid combos.

[16:23] Alacar Leoricar: maybe if you do it'll make the porn more meaningful
I have to go to work in a little bit. It's going to suck so much. I work tonight, tomorrow, Tuesday, and then Wednesday. Today is an 8 hour shift with an overnight, and then the next three days are all 16 hour shifts with overnights (plus a training on Monday). Then I have Thursday off, work Friday night for an overnight, then I work Saturday-Tuesday.
I am so not looking forward to it.
I literally feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

Congrats to mamelon for being RotW!

Where I went one sealed deck flight was $30 and two was $50. I went for two flights. So it was around the same price as it was in Italy, I guess (for one flight, I mean).
Good job for doing well in the prerelease, Mr. Stuff!
Still debating whether to replace Mana Leak for Rune Snag in my MUC deck. I'm leaning toward putting in the Snags.
Congratulations, Mamelon! Regular of the week is my favorite long post to read

Lol, I love to change it up a bit. Hmmm ... my suggestionds are :
- Create something that represents you/ your persona
- Create one from a deck you like
- Make another anime one
- Make something along the lines of Alacar, complimenting some other people.

Ooh. That 3rd one sure is tempting. lol. I think I'm going to make an elf one or a firerific one with Axel on it. Maybe I'll just make a whole bunch of banners, one for each color. I'm writing down ideas now. Thank you, Priest. Any other suggestions?

When are those cards info about the valkyrie and viper coming up?? I click on the card links but says it can't be found.
By the way, I do have to say some of the CS art is quite poor. Though I'm extremely interested in seeing all the black cards and female cards.
