You know, even though he was my favorite one out of NSYNC, I still knew he was gay...when I was 7. Haha.
The magazine cover picture next to the article...that literally made me lol.
9 more days until Mikey leaves. I'm probably not making it any easier on him by like..crying practically everytime I see him, but I can't help it. The easiest way to put it is...the person who basically saved me from killing myself back at the beginning of the school year is leaving me. We're still dating, and we still love each other...but he won't be here. And thus the support he gives won't quite be the same.
We're going to make it somehow, we HAVE to make it somehow..

And thus continues to proud tradition of celebrities coming out after their popularity has declined. God forbid someone actually values being a positive role model or even honest more than their career. I can't say I've seen Bass go out of his way to appear straight in public, and his reasons for not coming out seem fair. But for once it would be nice if an A-list celebrity would be asked in an interview, "So you've probably heard the rumors that you're gay. Are they true?" and respond, "Yep. What's your point?" Maybe after a few reactions like that people would stop being so obsessed with who's gay or not. Who cares? What relevance does that have on people's lives? I'm pretty damn sure Brad Pitt is straight. Does that mean I'm going to not see his movies? Or stop wanting to have sex with him for that matter?
I think I'm going to make myself a plain white T-shirt that just says, "Get over it."

Micah! i missed you so! How are ya? Im good. No, im not dating anyone, but there is someone I like here. She ( yes she), is the greatest! And its gonna be a bit difficult to call me, as im in the middle of B.F.E ( give you three guesses what that stands for).Nah, im kidding. I love it here. I will probably be here for the winter, but before that starts, im taking 2 weeks and going somewhere. maybe to visit Texas? See ya later!
Wow Lance Bass is gay! He never flew to that black hole in his rocket ship but... what? oh we've done the gay spaceman joke? Oops. My bad.
One N'Sync band member down 4 to go. *eyes justin timberlake poster*
And though I'm not shocked I didn't see it coming because... well.... I mean it's Lance Bass. Wasn't he on Sabrina the Teenaged Witch? (probably eyeing Harvey that skank)
Oh and apparently Bass is going out with Reichen Lehmkuhl. Tres haute! That guy is slamming hot. (guy of the week *cough*)
Next up on the coming out schedule: Ryan Seacrest.

I may have asked you guys this before... are any of you the typical flaming homosexual? Personally, they are too over the top for my liking (and licking) but each to his own
The reason why I ask is because I was passing by a resteraunt polular with the the LGBT crowd, and I was talking to a really cool down-to-earth bi guy about my recent 'experience' then all of the sudden a flamer with a pink hat and leather chaps takes him and starts dancing with him... oddest experience of my life...
Hee. Flamers. I like some flamers, but it has to be a certain kind of flaming. A limited flame, if you will. Ya. That is odd. I think that the LGBT "crowd" can be pretty interesting.
For example, There are a lot of queer people in the punk crowd. By our library, all of these crazy anarcho-punks hang out. One of my friends from that crowd came out to me as bi. I told her like three months ago. Why did she keep silent? Grrr. Well, maybe she came out very recently. And maybe this forum is irrelevant because I'm having a converstation with myself. So, said girl was talking to another girl about having "a love puddle." Neither of us had a clue what it was, because the girl we were talking to brought it up. I can imagine what it is, but I would prefer not to do so.
Anyway, I guess I was working at the ACLU today. Interesting stuff. I sat in on a meeting for the Montana Safe Schools Coalition. They are focusing on harassment against LGBT students, so it was fun and interesting to participate in and learn from.
Help has come in the form of a bit of basic algebra. I feel that it'll shed some light on your problem here.

...S in this case stands for 'spam' and the T stands for 'light trolling'. And the W? That stands for 'Warning'. I love math. -- {mikeyG}
I certainly have my ... flair. But no, I'm not the stereotypical flamboyant flamer. In fact, very few gays I've met are. It's pretty rare that I've encountered someone truly outrageous; people I've met tend to top out at "queeny".
And super-flaming guys don't bother me in the slightest. Flamboyancy, however, can often be taken into the realm of obnoxiousness. And obnoxiousness does bug me.

The most flamboyant I get is that my wardrobe is 3/4 designer labels. That's all. And I don't like sports. And I'm fond of musical theatre.
I mean this as no offense to you, and I know this doesnt seem very characteristic of a bi guy, but I can't stand overpriced designer labels. I can make myself look better in a $50 outfit than in a $5000 outfit. I think that people who are caught up with designer labels are kind of shallow. Sometimes, designer labels do in fact look better (in which case I might buy it), but most of the time, there isnt a difference between a black t-shirt by Armani and a black T-shirt by... someone else, aside from a 1 cm logo
That said, I do appreciate designer names though. I read GQ almost every month and then I see a cool look, then I go out and replicate if for 1/4 of the price
Sorry if that sounded mean, Tuatha, but that's one of my pet peeves
Flamboyant kids make me giggle. Not like "lolz you're st00pid!!111one" giggle, I just find it amusing.
Yes, I find humour in weird things. What're you going to do about it?
In other news, my mom and I are pretty sure my brother's gay. Let's just say this will not go over well with the alpha male of the house...
So today....we had some REALLY nasty storms...I was at Mikey's, as we had just come back from the zoo with his brother. they had the emergency signal thing on TV, with a tornado warning for the county next to us [which I can walk to in 1/2 hour from my house]...I get kinda freaked [wouldn't you?], but not too bad.
Go upstairs, turn Mikey's computer on..he and brother follow, and as I'm sitting there watching the clouds...the tornado sirens go off. I literally felt the color drain out of my face. It was the weirdest feeling ever. And then I started shaking, like, really bad. 'cause I realized not only was I a half-hour [essentially] walk from where the tornado was, my dog was home alone, with no way to protect herself.
We went to the basement, and even with mikey holding me and wrapped up in a blanket, I was still shaking. he and dad played a game with me to try and distract me, but it failed miserably, since it was a game i'd never played before.
To be honest, I'm still a little freaked out. I don't know why, storms in general don't freak me out [unless it storms when I'm home alone], and tornadoes don't bother me in the least. I just don't have an explanation, perhaps that's why i'm still bothered by it.
Either way, I'm off to bed now. I'm happy, I spent an entire day with Mikey, and I'm curled up in his sweatshirt, which smells like him [derr? :P]. It was cold in the basement, and you don't do much moving while playing poker.

I may have asked you guys this before... are any of you the typical flaming homosexual?
Nope. I'm really not. Extreme flamers used to really get on my nerves. I'm what Lance Bass christened a 'SAG', a woeful term if I've ever heard one. My friends tell me that I'm undeniably manly, but with a quality that hints at more going on. Whatever the hell that means.
It's probably something to do with my style, my one true homosexual personality trait with dominance. My clothes are splendid (I'm a whore for labels, but I'm not a slave to them. $125 jeans hang near where my $9 T-Shirts lay folded.)) and I can put together an outfit for anyone in no time flat. Makes me an invaluable asset when shopping, prior to clubbing and for directing significant others how to dress better. I had one friend tell me that she knew I wasn't straight when I could pick out clothes that suited her better than she ever could. Heh.
So what happened to the new thread?

So yeah. I'm not 100% he-man, as it were, but I'm certainly not a breathing stereotype.
Haven't we done this conversation before?
Also, isn't it about time for a new thread?

REDIT: I know! How about "[Gaymers]-We think we're pretty witty"?
