@Nemcon's card: Sounds OK. Feels black to me tho. I see no real problem with it in red since it feels greenish and redish and green is allied with red so a little spread of abilities is allowed.
About the card itself... How about changing the "Until end of turn" phrase to:
Until end of turn, you may play creature spells without paying their mana costs. Creatures played in this way come into play with a burning counter and "Whenever this creature is dealt damage, sacrifice it. If you do, it deals damage to you equal to it's converted mana cost."
Cleans it up a bit and doesn't punish for playing that Llanowar Elves with your extra :symg:.
Edit: The counters are still there to make it easier to keep track of those creatures...
Yea, it is very wordy, I claimed that, and I know it is pretty powerful. Tomorrow I will look at the idea again and tweak down the power level by quite a bit.
Edit: Yea Crimson, i realized on another look that I forgot to word it to not affect creatures played normally.
Ohio.....I'm in Illinois......my family and I used to go to Ohio a lot. But we stopped about 2 years ago.
It's probably for the best. For all my power and might, I have laughable short range. I can barely hit someone in Cleveland.
And it's a figure of speech. Metaphor.
Yeah, I know. It's the nature of the euphemism that bothers me, though. It is inherently objectifying, it implies that when one person is in a relationship that they have somehow "obtained" or "caught" the other person, and they have to put a huge amount of effort into keeping them in place- like it's not a bond of mutual affection.

[16:23] Alacar Leoricar: maybe if you do it'll make the porn more meaningful
Oh well. I'm 13. I would've joined when I was 12, but I thoght you had to be 13. Well, no matter! I'm still here now! I think I had been viewing these forums as a guest for 1-2 years.
Ohio.....I'm in Illinois......my family and I used to go to Ohio a lot. But we stopped about 2 years ago.
Thats was to Alacar. But w/e. And I can't blame your for not going to Ohio. I've been to illinois once. It was good. I <3 Chicago.
Chicago is fun! There is lots of stuff to do there. I got all of my swords from Chinatown, there. Though stay away from the allies. There is too much death and crime and drugs in America.
At this mall near me there's this place full of knives and swords and ninja gear. It's all on the walls on shelves. I seriously don't want to be there during an earthquake.
My teacher at my high school has a katana, and he gets catalogs where he can order more.
Well, I live in New Jersey, but I also bounce to New York often. And I'll be in Allentown, PA, for college. I already had a long distance relationship: my ex is from Japan.
I think I have 4 swords so far, 2 Katanas and 2 Decorational. They're cool to have around. I sometimes practice with them, because my brother teaches me some things. And yes, PotN......very choppy.
Woah. Japan? That's really far, but did she come here, you met her, then you broke up and she went home to Japan or something like that?
I see so many people here that aren't even past 15 yet.....and I'm 16...why do I feel so old?
On the matter of relationships, I have had no such luck after 3 attempts at a small relationship. Just as bf and gf. 1 was 3 months, another was 2 weeks, and the last one was 1 hour, but I don't really count it. Obvious reasons. But they were all the ones who broke up with me. That's kinda a message to me, but there is advice in here. Relationships are fickle. They can last a long time, then end, last a long time and go forever(highly unlikely at less than 18) or they can last a short while and leave you in the dust. But if a girl says no, then don't go after it. Usually when a girl says no, they are telling you it won't work because they don't feel it.[/trying to sound mature]
EDIT: On the matter of weapons, I wish I had a katana.
On a less serious note, currently listening to: Cotton Eye Joe
This week's Regular of the Week is none other than SapphireTri, also known as Mike (or sometimes Beth?).
Mike's name SapphireTri is a culmination of two things- Sapphire, his Wiccan name, and Tri, which is the number of attempts it took him to create his account on MTGS.
Mike came to MTGS after the exodus from News, but until that point he had existed as a lurker. It wasn't until everyone left that he created an actual account in order to join in the discussions on the fast-growing Legacy format.
Speaking of Legacy, Mike currently moderates the Legacy forums here on MTGS, in addition to being a member of the Coffeehouse. He also loves hanging around the trade forums, and between these three locations he divides the bulk of his time on the forums.
When asked about his favorite card, he had but one word to say: Tinker. Although a brief response, anyone with any familiarity with the game at all realizes the implications of this response.
Not surprisingly, he says his favorite deck is Tinker.dec, but it has changed to Legacy Enchantress recently. He says he likes the deck because of the variety of win conditions it can produce, with such powerful cards like Serra's Sanctum, Sacred Mesa, and Argothian Enchantress. He also likes it for the nostalgic value it has, due to the fact it was his first Legacy deck.
In addition to his MTG hobbies, Mike is a tattoo designer, and is currently designing a very complicated tattoo for a close friend. Someday he hopes to come up with a design he really likes enough with to adorn himself. He is also currently modifying his entertainment center to be a powerhouse, or so he says.
Mike likes the Coffeehouse because of the sense of community and the newfound friendships, and how it has allowed him to open up. He also enjoys the wonderful (if not somewhat fictional) food.
If he had to pick a favorite regular, he says it would be Mamelon. He says it is because she has helped him understand himself even better, and because she is a good friend in general- although I'm sure that her outsider hit dice and high MP totals are also a drawing factor.
Well, that's it for our Regular, SapphireTri. Everyone give him his respect, or face the wrath of a Second Class Goddess, Limited License!

[16:23] Alacar Leoricar: maybe if you do it'll make the porn more meaningful
Well, he was disappointed at how his congrats forum turned out. He had it locked himself. It seemed all the mods were like " Yeah, I think you're too young and will fail, but congrats." I'm really depressed it worked that way. I thought more would be happy for him.
Chicago is fun! There is lots of stuff to do there. I got all of my swords from Chinatown, there. Though stay away from the allies. There is too much death and crime and drugs in America.
Chicago's not that violent. The only places you need to avoid is the south and west sides. And even then, it's just in isolated areas.
congrats on all the relationship business going on in this thread.
on swords: too expensive, and i can not smote the people that (on my list anyway) need to be smited.
i'm 20, btw, and have no relationship at the moment. i did once, but it ended up sour (she was into things i wasn't, *hint* *hint*).
I see so many people here that aren't even past 15 yet.....and I'm 16...why do I feel so old?
You feel old? Bah, wait a few years, and then we'll talk.
I used to collect weapons. I like nonconventional weapons, though. Swords don't appeal to me, but flails do. I have some manriki chains, a couple of dress sabers that just hang on my wall collecting dust, and more bullwhips than one can have without being a BDSM overlord.

I don't think it's a matter of not being happy. It seems more like concern that stems from a place of experience, or at least that is how it seemed to me. Besides, no engagement is without it's naysayers. Don't take it so hard.

I know, I know. My parents told me that too, as they're 49 and 48, but it feels old getting out of bed in the morning and my legs start creaking and cracking.
@Priest: Well don't worry about it. I'm sure he'll be fine with megan. They seem to really love each other from what I hear, so it'll turn out just fine.

I know, I know. I'm just surprised and sorry that I failed him. I got them to propose and I was really excited. I made the thread and I expected a bigger and better turn out.
Did I here old farts. I'm eighteen do I count as one?

@ Photon. Thanks man.
My arm is still hurting.. it popped in the wrong way or something..
and enjoy your music, Shinobi.
If 16 is old, then what am I? Or Danica? She's 21!
And Priest, as long as your heart was in the right place, and Yukora and Megan know it, it's alright. Photon is correct, as always.
