Yea, if meloku wasn't rotating in a little while, the price would go up even more. Not that it will lose all of it's value just because it won't be in standard, and that's not saying that it won't go up at all, of course.
For my plans concerning the new set I would have enjoyed splurging and buying a few boxes, but thanks to debts, obligations, and a tiny bankbook the only thing I'll buy when it's released is a fatpack most likely.
Of course, I have a knack for getting my hand on cards immediately anyway, so I'm not worried.
Turbo-Burn...would be my idea if you were to run those colors. It seems the field will be littered with creatures to blow up nice. Mana accel to a simic bomb monster or sit back and lay waste to them with burn.
I was thinking what can I add from Izzet to my future UGR deck. Any ideas?
The problem is that the Simic and the Izzet, while both being deeply involved in the sciences, are very different in playstyle. Izzet creature cards have synergy with instants and sorceries, while it seems Simic creatures have synergy with counters and auras. More than that Izzet doesn't need to use creatures to kill opponents either, while I can't think of anything Simic could come up with that could do the same.
*pulls out his pocket watch and swings it through the air in a pendulum movement*
You will play UR; the Firemind commands yooooooooooou!
In all seriousness Azorius would be a better partner for Simic decks than Izzet would be, simply thanks to Æthermage's Touch. Likewise; Izzet also has that little combo it could use with Celestial Hussar and Kiki-Jiki.
I am legitmately trying to save up for a case of Dissension. Even though I love the Izzet, it's looking like not only the most powerful block, but the most fun block. Also, you have to admit, the UW shockland is just breathtaking. As for :symu::symr::symg:, I don't think that those colours go too well together. Thusfar, it really looks like the combination to beat is :symu::symr::symw:.

I feel like a high roller. I already have a ****load of things to buy. And with my overtime today, I tacke don 50 bucks in three hours. Here's hoping I pull a foil Omniban, and the duals aren't too heavily pulled one way (Eight shrines and five Gardens is troublesome when the others are far from four-ofs.)
Sigh, I guess we can be resigned to the fact that we probably will not have any more than 60 or so cards up by the time prerelease rolls around...
I like pie.
we may not have the whole set for long, but due to those hardworking australasians, we should have the whole set for at least 18 hours before the prerelease. So, thanks an consolations about that whole international date line thing?

New thread, grats!

I personally think this combo works. The possibilites are many, but they don't follow guild lines. I like Meloku + Asuza, lost but seeking backed up with burn and counter.
go to wizards.com tournament center: the link that says locate a tournament near me. Then find the store you're going to the tournament for. They should have the info on how much the sealed and drafts are going to cost on thier website. It should be arond 30$, but each place varies.
Shew....been busy makin' money for dissention.....Right now, I'm looking at about 80. Anybody know how much a booster box is going for in the U.S.?
Again, prices vary. It really depends on where you're buying from. Online places can get you some real bargains, but I wouldn't pay anything more than 100 pre taxes, or you're really getting taken. The best thing to do is to pre-order somewhere online and get involved with some other people one a case or more to save extra money.
