This is the Clan who stand alone. We don't need no guild to help us.
We don't need a pair of things. We just need 1 of things. Were origanal, not pawns of the Guilds. We lead on our own, not follow orders. Don't get me wrong, we aren't Careless, were Independent.
Not all guilds are pawns to their colors though, they are acceptable because they go by their own rules, they just seek some direction(Even through killing) but who cares.
We will be rogues, even vigalanties. We FIGHT!
We have no one cause but we accept ALL CAUSES.
We are nor good or either, we are Guild Athiest.

no, not really, but i'm sure u knw by now not all clans are on good term with each other and some clan even impose a no friend request unless by PMing the leader n getting a 2/3 vote by the clanmember (talk about elitist~!)
n amusingly when u wanted to befriended a clan, they take a look at ur clan and judge u by it even when ur act of wanting to be a friend hav nothing to do with ur clan whatsoever...

Yeah, what he said.
Yeah, some clans insist on triple-checking you, obtaning written forms, and a full security scan before they let you in, others let every man and his dog in.

I am happy with the results I'm have and I'll put you up as freinds. Also, for the safty of the clan, I will renounce SOME of the statments. I'll still dislike the Guild clans, but safety in such a small group (1 and Freinds) is very important. I am going to make a Guild Athiest logo soon, so stay updated.
So…is this a clan specifically for Atheists and/or atheistic ideals? A clan using the term atheism as a novelty, exploiting its negative connotation among the theistic majority to push a feeling of rebellion? Or is there a deeper symbolic meaning where the other guild clans which conform to a particular wotc color scheme represent the ignorant masses and atheism represents a divulgence from the masses to be its own establishment away from the shackles of wotc dogma with a “we don’t believe in combined colorscheme” type identity? Or did you just pick the term atheist cause it is neat and created the guild cause you don’t like the other guilds?
Curious is all, Mostly about the choice of clan name.

I think the primary problem an anti-clan has is that it's single unifying belief-the thing that entices people to join in the first place-is a dislike of a type of other clans. Rather than unifying around a common belief, you're unifying under a common disbelief (although that does sound somewhat bizarre).
Think about it: the entire reason you would join a clan is because you belive in their unifying beliefs. But by making this clan centered around a centralized antagonism, you aren't actually developing anything, but rather representing the feelings we all have.
Of course, it could easily be argued that an infant clan has no possibility to actually attract influential members (such as Mods or mass-posters like The Fallen Evincar), so they need to simply attract fresh blood. Case in point: I joined Robot Jesus, not because I agreed with its principles, but rather because I thought that it would be easier to assimilate myself into an infant clan like [RJ] than a clan like the one I've adopted, Project Mayhem.
But by giving to new members a banner of a dislike of other clans, while you're giving a voice to a fairly common belief of some posters here, including myself (namely, that Guild clans don't actually promote anything, because unless that Guild has a large central belief, such as the Rakdos, they're simply representatives of their colors). But think about it: would a person want to join your clan, with its contrarian nature, or join a clan which is easy to assimilate into, such as a Guild clan?
I applaud your efforts, at the very least. I myself believe that Guild clans take the inspiration out of a clan by centralizing itself around a drap principle. Even the Rakdos, with all their lack of civilization (no offense to the clan, which itself is very well-seated), are fairly uninteresting. But a clan like yours doesn't seem to have a future without a larger audience, which, unless you find a way to advertise, won't come in time to save this clan.
The best way I can see to get attention for this clan is to advertise through signatures. I'm willing to post something in my signature with a link, and maybe the other friends are willing to do the same. But, unfortunately, I think the nature of a contrarian clan is what will eventually scare members away.
I agree with Xyre in that the clan seems to be organizing towards a comon disbelief. But then thats what atheists do, they would never even organize if other religions didn't exist. I agree that the underlining premis is a little weak, but thats just the underlining premis. Clans do evolve over time, even these other guild clans will develop their own identities given enough time. It may not be a bad idea to grasp the guild ideal presented by Ravnica while discarding the presented colorschemes.
And thus we've turned a clan recruitment forum into a debate on the viabilty of clans based on their initial unifying factor.
