Ha! New Hampshire is soooo much better. Or is it Connecticut.. Which one is full of Berries? Middle and North and South and West and the like?
We have no berries, fool! But we are the Free State, so we rock anyway. No sales tax or income tax? Yep. No mandatory seatbelt/motorcycle helmet laws? Yep. The second largest legislature in the world? Mhm. Live free or die, goddammit.
i missed alot... congrats, those who have had date-luck.
i'm exhausted, mentally and emotionally.
Ever had to go through the "I need to cut this friend out of my life NOW" thing?
I'm dealing with it now. And some how I'm also dealing with it for one of my other friends. She was closer to this dude... and I'm the one who she comes to. and it seems like if i don't approve... she can't do it.
so yeah, i'm tired. its not easy being the emotional desicion maker for 2.
and its not like i can get any out of this, shes as straight as the Shrub is crooked(my pardon to any I offend).

I'm sure Blue was joking, and Jack's response didn't seem serious... (Well, I know I wouldn't be personally offended if someone said something jokingly offensive about my hometown.)
It's like everyone is suddenly high-strung and irritable. ::sigh::
In other news, life goes ok. I have lots of homework to do and little motivation to do it.... so most of it gets done at the last minute. I was hoping to do a lot this weekend, but then I had LARP on Friday, lots and lots of Magic™-playing on Satuday, and me being a lazy, lazy bum on Sunday. Wheeeeee.
LadyAria, :(. I know how you feel... I can't help you as it's too personal and I'm not sure what your siuation is anyway.... Good luck with it and I hope you feel a bit better soon.
Thanks... I appreciate it. its just a difficult situation. the friend that needs dropping has become a baaaaaaaaad drug addict and is in a situation that just encourages it.
And its effecting all his friends.
And its changed him irreperably, i think.

Heh. Sorry I didn't mean to cause a fuss either ;). I'm from Texas and I've lived all over it. My friends from Houston call it the Sweaty Armpit of Texas (and some call it the crotch) but I didn't mean it offensively. Why would I want to offend someone else from Texas!?! As it is there's only a few of us anyways
Nathan, you're alright in my book.
Goat you don't have to apologize for me. Had I seen his response I would have done it anyways.

It'd help if people in the clan would quit slinging words around so recklessly without taking into consideration what someone might think or if someone could take it the wrong way. You can't just say something that offends someone in a careless manner and be like "oh whatever, you need to lighten up" all the time. It doesn't work like that. Even if it's just people on the internet, you're still here conciously reading words and thoughts and thus can have feelings towards those words and thoughts.

Usually, if I make fun of something and somebody takes offense at it, I learn that I won't get along well with that person and just avoid them. On the internet, this translates into the ignore list, where I don't mind if someone gets offended at my post and I don't see it! I just speak without thinking way too much, and most people that chill with me realize that 9 times out of 10, I'm not being serious about it. If I were top actually call somebody out, it wouldn't be in a joking fashion =\
I suppose that was a bit of an overly-long explanation that had a minimal connection to what I quoted, but whatever.
Physics is killing me. I've worked on about 20 problems for like, 5 hours. It's nuts

For the record, I thought Blue's comment was okay, and I think Jack didn't realize that Micah is also from Texas. One must admit, Texas gets insulted alot. Alot alot in fact! Jack's response didn't seem too serious, but I'm not one to let things fester, so I made the gester of making amends with him. He was slightly offended, but now that the misunderstanding is rectified, we can move on. I just thought I should tell Micah how Jack was affected by his words.

Erasmus: I'm sorry Physics is so hard. I really enjoy physics, but you must have college-level physics, which contains the calculus and vector headaches that I have to look forward to. Down with insane school work loads!

Yes....and it's not that it's particularly mind-numbing, although at times it is, it just takes forever to do one problem. The whole....blargh - there's just so much work in it, even when you know exactly what you're doing.
Wait to you get to Phys II... you thought you had head aches now? Only as far as I went... my friend is taking his graduate classes and he's got 'Light, Color & Holography', 'Standard Modern Elementary Particle Physics I', 'Optical Effect in Solids', and some others, which I can't remember all of them he told me... either because of old age or alcohol dain bramage

I spoke with him on AIM, he apologized and said he didnt mean it that way. Everything is cool.
Also, most people are seriously confused about Christianity(especialy those who follow it), Id like to apologize on behalf of them in there ignorance.
Strange. It's so weird to be a fairly devout Catholic who just figured out he was gay. The funny thing is that in theory, Christianity a very tolerant religion. The most important thing is to love everyone equally. And yet a lot of Christians are really, really, REALLY intolerant, like our dear president. I don't get what God he follows, because 90% of the time it sure isn't mine.
Speaking of physics homework, thank god I'm still in conceptual physics. It's like taking physics without the calculus and all the math. Senior year is really going to suck, though, because I'm in ad-math and my mom really wants me to do the high-end science courses.

So you are religious, Tesh? Being a member of this clan has helped me smash many myths of being gay. Among them is the myth (which I thought made perfect sense) that gay people are not religious, by and large.
It's a sad commentary that I held this view, mainly because of the skewed view I perceived that Christians hold towards people who are homosexual. When I learn of homosexual Christians, my mind goes: "OMFG WTF HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!?11/!??"
However, the intolerant views of the religious establishment is actually held by a minority of Christians.

Going on the point of religion. Don't rant on me for this, but it's not that I don't like religion. I just don't like form-based religion. Alot of the religions have manipulated and changed the bible and other books for their own liking. It's not like I despise religion and so forth, I just will not go into a church for sundays or for religious dictation. I only goto churches for cermonies (cermony of life - baptism, ceremony of union - marriage, and ceremony of death - funeral). The main point of a person to have, whether it is religion based or based on your own views of life is this: You need something to believe in. That is the most important thing with religion or whatever. Something to believe in.
I am sorry about my little spiel.

Thanks! It's good to be here too. Actually, a lot of the stuff that the religious right quotes to attack homosexuality is in the old testament, or is in the works by the apostles in the New Testament. In the Gospel (which I personally consider to be most true to what Jesus wants for us), again and again the point is made that all are welcome, even those rejected by society. A lot of the time, the example of the tax collector is used (they were essentially the Antichrist of the time.) I personally believe that a lot of what is written in the Bible was designed to make sense to the people of the time. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated...but you can extrapolate the meanings if you look at it the right way. Following word-for-word a Book that, while the writers may have been God-touched, they were still human, seems like a bad idea to me. So I do my best to reconcile my Christianity, my bleeding-heart liberalism, and recently, my sexuality. It's a bit of a balancing act, but I manage.

maybe a lot of christianity is very anti-christian however i go to church almost every week and most of the people there know about my sexuality and they do not care and i think that that is what christianity is truly supposed to be about: caring for others despite their differences and the things they do but because they are a person just like you
