JESUS H. CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There were like 10 new pages since I was here last. I think I'm goin blind!!
Anyway, Luis, I know where Portugal is. I used to read maps for fun. Thankfully I found Magic. I almost ended up a nerd.
@BB18: Having gone through similar difficulties w/religion, I can say that you will have the most success trying to talk with the oppressors about their constant hounding and let them know that your choice is just that: Your Choice. If that don't work, do what you gotta do. Good Luck.
BTW, I learned Quads over 10 years ago myself. Never have they actually benefitted me in my life and I can't even remember how they work at this point.
Congrats to Daan and Riley on the decks. Do you accept entries from non-members? I don't really care about prizes and such, but winning would be cool. I love winning!
Hi Raia. I'm Sean and in the States. Los Angeles area to be precise. I love music, Magic and winning. Music-wise, I like stuff that is lyrically hardcore (makes you sit up and say, "Wow. Did they really just say that?") Especially Slayer. They are the greatest.
Anyway, for those who did not see the races on Sunday, Danica Patrick made Indy 500 history by being the first female driver to lead laps. Hell, she almost won. It was the best Indy 500 I think I've ever seen. As for the Coke 600 for Nascar, they set a record for caution flags in a race with 22. The problem seemed to be that the cars were going too fast to control in several incidents. The track also seemed to be an issue. it has always been a bumpy racetrack, but they decided to grind the bumps out this year. As a result, in some places, the asphalt on the track started breaking off in chunks. They repaired the track, but some of the repairs found their way into Jeff Gordon's grille, causing him some minor difficulty. Anyway, the race was settled by a hood's length. I love racing too.
Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -how passionately I hate them!

Hello. Is it okay to butt in here once in a while?
I'm currently getting my behind whupped in the FCC so I have set out on a quest for greater knowledge... uhm right... and I found this lively, lively, lively group. Maybe I can learn a thing or two from you guys. And maybe I can contribute to something good somehow, some day. Go me!
What an honor! I was going to put something like Portugal is located at the ass-end of Spain, but that seemed to offensive, so no offense, OK? I'm a heartless bastard.
Yes, I live for metal. But I also listen to some Hip-Hop, and pretty much anything.
EDIT: @ nightshift: Mayhem is just a bunch of cool mofo's who don't seem to mind when outsiders post in their threads. They'll tell you whether or not it's OK for sure, but I can only imagine.:tongue2:
nightshift: Ofcourse you can post here, noone is going to kill you (Exept maby votan but dont mind him, its just one of his wicked (wicca) ritual thingys :p)
All are welcome to post here as long as they follow the regular forum rules and behave well (beeing naughty is only acseptable if you have no dick :p)

nan: f*** you. You have some nerve joking with portugal when Norway isn't even a real country....
You're just used as a borderline for Sweden
See, I can be nasty too, now let's drop it. Really I hate it when ppl make fun of my country. And Comparing it to spain is just ridicularizing my country......
Yeah, that was pretty harsh, nan.
As for Portugal vs. Spain, Portugal>Spain. IMO.
Maybe cause I got a signed Portugese 'Phling. Oh, and 3 Negators too.
But the best one is the Japanese Kokusho I got off of Ebay for 14.50 incl. shipping. The language definitely accentuates the card.
@Raia: are you able to describe "something incredibly naughty" for me?;)
Beta's would blow shinys away, although the FBB ones would probably be the "budget" black border version. I thought he said 8th ed. but he just said T2. My bad. I hope they're Beta's.
Maybe I'll go ghetto on my Revised BOP's. I can use a Sharpie and make it BB. jk, although they are in very played condition. I wish I had BB BOPs though. I do have some portugese smokestacks also. Those are cool.
I wish I had some good foreign cards to trade cause I'd love to get some portugese cards. I have basically about 10 non-english cards although I did just get a French BB Taiga on Ebay. It was 45 w/shipping. Anyway, Luis, if you want to unload some Portugese cards for cash, I can dig it. I prefer buying over trading anyway.
MBM: Good luck with the stud farm. LMK if you need a few "farmhands".:tongue2:
I MUST HAVE YOUR KOKUSHO LUIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It would be #4 for me (aka, a playset).
Hmm, post #666 in progress here.
Guess I gotta give a shout out to Slayer, the epitome of 666, which is my lucky number. I know it's cheesy, but I'va always been fascinated by it and I always see it. Like on my car odometer, or on video games, post counts, etc.
Like I somehow have the uncanny ability to glance at the clock when it's 9:11. I must be crazy.
Anyway, I'm not a true "devil worshipper" or anything, I just like the reaction in people, their adversity to something so simple as a number. 666, what do you think?
EDIT: btw, it is an honor and a priveledge to make post 666 in the Project Mayhem thread. Can I join now?
I have no lucky number, I have no luck either.
I have a Russian Laqautueses champion if anybody is interested
I just got back from the orthodontist and I get my expander out in 3 months ,I am happy.
Any Cradle of Filth fans ,I downloaded a couple of songs and they sound good but I can tunderstand what they are saying.

@votan: It's okay, I had a geek streak in college where I bought a map just to memorize the countries of Europe and their capitals. Plus we used to be a colony of Spain and they were bastards then so I'd take Portugal's side anytime... wait... history lessons flashback... the captain of that Spanish ship that found Philippines was Ferdinand Magellan and he's a Portugese... grrrr! Anyway, my surname is Cordero which translates to "lamb" in Spanish. Does it mean anything in Portugese?
@Zirilian: We don't have Filipino cards in the Philippines too but that's okay, I think it'll be weird and the text would consume too much space:
Mata ng Poon, Tarangkahan patungo sa Reikai
Lupa sa Alamat
Ihiga: Dumagdag ng isang walang kulay na "mana" sa iyong bilyar.
Kapag ang Mata ng Poon, Tarangkahan patungo sa Reikai ay mailalagay sa isang libingan mula sa laro, maglagay ng isang 1/1 na walang kulay na kaluluwang nilalang na palatandaan sa laro.
Round One of the FCC is up. I have to play Mr. Bloody Minded.
That is a bad pairing, I was hoping not having to see a Project Mayhem member until at least the 3rd round. Well, good luck everyone who is in it, and I hope to have a good match with you Mr. Bloody.
Wow, I didn't know Columbus was Portuguese. And I didn't know all those other stuff too (except that you're close to Spain; since I looked up "Iberia" before). Neat, in less than 24 hours I've learned something from you guys.
well, who discovered america depends on how you see it. the first people who went there walked over the bering pass but if you want to count people who discoverd it after that then it was the vikings yes Norwegian vikings I find vikings and that culture the only thing I like about my culuture

All your talk about cards in foreign language is making me drool. It pissed me off that they stopped giving foreign cards at prereleases. The foreign goodies I have that might be noteworthy are my Arabian Glory (Judgment prelease card) and my battle-worn Japanese Exalted Angel. I wish my company'd send me on a business trip to Japan again so I can raid some MTG store there...
I vote yes on Maro as he seems like a nice guy, and I will prolly vote yes on loosing sparhawk if the vote comes up... he is a nice guy tough :/

I will definatlty vote yes on Maro, from the post of his that I have read, he seems like a really nice person and knowledgeable about Magic. And if we are voting out Sparhawk, I will have to agree with that too, even though Sparhawk is really a good member when he is active.
I think Maro is cool, I vote yes.
Lets wait a bit on sparhawk and try to contact him.
