The gundam idea was pretty bad. So far I'm liking the turn the manga took better. I started reading a newer manga called Boku no Hero Academia recently. It's pretty enjoyable. Not exactly anything new, but enjoyable nonetheless.
From jumping around in the manga to see where things seem to change, I'd guess after Chelsea stabs Kurome the manga changes from the anime. I'm not sure if they did the whole Esdeath falls in love with Tatsumi thing in the manga either... I've currently only read through Chapter 12, but got tired of reading what I already watched, so skipped ahead. After tomorrow night's final exam, I should have more time to read, so I'll be closer to finding out I suppose.
I definitely plan on catching up tonight. Heading to take some final exams now.
EDIT: Last episode of Chaika was very... Deus Ex Machina... It felt very rushed and meh...
EDIT2: Last episode of Akame felt less rushed, but sucked how basically everyone died. I really enjoyed watching Leone beat the prime minister to death with her bare hands even without her powers... Knowing that the manga is different and still serializing, I now want to see how it differs. I've read to chapter 25 so far and now that I have time, I'll read some more.
New Year's resolution: visit this thread every single day. I don't want to go MIA for four months again. In fact, somewhere in the middle of my abscence, I have become afraid that the clan died without me, so I got even more hesitant about checking in. Luckily, this thread is still alive, so I'll make a new one tomorrow. And then we can talk about me being a disgrace to every clan member. And about anime, I guess.
