Well, I'm Blue all the way. I love playing EDH with casual themed decks, love Theros block, started with Innistrad which was also great (loved the Spirits tribe). I enjoy listening to Evanescence, Christina, Chillout/Ambient/Lounge/DownTempo or whatever you wish to call it, and I have a soft spot for handsome brunette men.

What's your sign and how do you feel about long walks on the beach?
I enjoy listening to Evanescence,

Christina,
Beautiful is one of the top 10 best songs ever written.

Not sure what you mean. Looks the same to me.
PMed you Blue.
I'm a Leo and I love walks on the beach. I'm from a beach town in Florida and love going at night in the winter when it's empty with a crisp, tranquil breeze. I study shipwrecks and weather in my free time so I naturally admire the ocean. "Beautiful" is a great song, and Stripped was her best album for sure (Impossible, Walk Away, Underappreciated etc.). My favorite from Christina is "Monday Morning" though. And "Birds of Prey."
Nah, it's just a typical preference, but I've had a crush on gingers and all sorts of men before. Who end up being straight. lol. Or D-bags.
Oh stop. lol. You're straight? As long as you don't go around flirting with gays for attention, I don't mind it. But I know some like that and eh.
LOL, I gotta admit that when I am in a comfortable situation I tend to flirt with everyone for attention- I tend to be a bit needy when it comes to attention. Truth is I kinda doubt that anyone's gaydar ever got fooled be me, I am pretty clearly straight in person, but I grew up in a Lesbian family and spent a lot of my formative years with homosexual men as friends. In that environment the ability to casually flirt with just about anyone became a critical social skill.
probably annoys some people, but even at the age of 40 I still crave attention like a teenager at times.
I like stocky, fuzzy guys and I play Magic: the Gathering. So I have a lot of attractive, straight friends with innappropriate senses of humor. lol Straight boys flirting with me in a friendly, playful manner is something I well accustomed to by now. I get good friends and a dash of eye candy out of the bargain, so I'm not complaining.
Flirting with straights who are open to the flirting is fun. It's completely safe and lets you test your skills
I generally avoid flirting with gynophiles. I guess it's some kind of a survival mechanism Also, being straight is a big turn-off for me.
That makes sense, emotionally. Why open yourself to that kind of heartbreak?
I guess we should be clear here- there is flirting and there is FLIRTING. The latter is more like hitting on someone, or seduction, or leading someone on as a power trip; whereas the former is something that could be done in a group with plutonic friends of either gender if you are comfy enough with each other. Then again, it could be easier and safer for me to engage in because being straight and never having had any hangups as being seen as gay, I have grown up with a lot less fear of persecution or physical abuse. Truth be told, as a married man who is quite happy, even if my wife would never hear about it I would put the kibosh on any attempt at FLIRTING by anyone of any sex. It would be far too aware of becoming the kind of slime ball that I really loath.
Fortunately that kind of thing has not happened to me since I was a kid, clubbing in the early 90s.

I didn't mean it in that sense. Or did I? I'm not sure. After all, I do have a history of repeatedly falling for straight guys, but that was a long time ago.

What I meant is that I'm very careful not to express anything that could be interpreted as sexual when I'm dealing with people who are categorically not attracted to me. A part of it is also trying to underline that gays aren't automatically after everything with two legs.
When it comes to heartbreak, these days I'm hardly afraid of it at all. Falling in love is such an amazing experience that I don't want to shield myself against. It's wonderful and horrible at the same time. I'm presently just going through a new relationship complete with emotional rollercoasters, and I'm going to enjoy it for as long as it lasts. If I was single, I would undoubtedly be a lot tougher, but because my primary relationship is poly (12 years and counting with my husband), I'm never alone.

Man, one person has been a near disaster at times in my 19 years of marraige, I cannot even imagine how badly I would have ****ed up or been ****ed up by a poly relationship. Then again, if that is where your heart leads you then I suppose you have something in you that gives you a little bit of perspective.

A relationship (and any set thereof) capable of handling it does require quite a bit of effort to build and maintain but when you get there, I can guarantee it's worth it.

...for those that can handle it, sure. I will give you the benefit of the doubt in that it is worth it for you, and that is great, and I will admit that I have had my fantasies about women I have known socially and would like to get to know better in more than one way, but in reality I would not be able to emotionally meet the needs of two partners even they were cool with it.
Does poly mean you have more than 1 life partner, or is it about letting each other loose sexually?
Every relationship is its own story and there are different kinds of arrangements, so I can only speak for myself. Or on a more general level. For me, it means that I'm married to one person whom I call husband but I also see other guys whom I call whatever I want
Typically, the difference between a polyamorous and an open relationship is considered to be that "open" only allows sleeping around whereas in polyamory, you can also be emotionally attached to third parties. It's also not uncommon to progress in time via an open relationship into full-fledged polyamory. That's what we did, too. Personally, I think trying to separate emotions from sex is pointless because they're so closely intertwined. I know some people can have sex without feelings but that's not me. And falling in love is the most wonderful thing there's in the world. I think everybody should be able to experience as much love in their lives as possible.
My boyfriend used to be in a relationship where the three of them lived together.
I'm not sure if that ever had any chance of working out. THe two others ended up hating each other after a few years.
I've tried poly-dating. Didn't like it. Some people might chalk it up to being Scorpio, but I think it probably comes from being a very spoiled child. I hate sharing.
