I got arrested sitting in a drive thru. I'm obv out now and already went through court and all that and paid all my fines and community service and ***** that came with my probation so they let me switch to unmonitored probation and I left the state of Georgia. I'm in Texas now.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
I think I could do better next time. I tried to be a people pleaser, and ended up trying to take territories too late, and got surrounded. I should have just committed to going North or East.

Announcing! MTGS Mafia now has a Discord community! For those that don't know, Dicsord is a mix of Skype, IRC, and Teamspeak, combining public text and voice channels with the option for private comms as well. The idea is to use it as a tool for community integration both as a functional replacement for the clan thread, as well as a place to have informal Mafia-related discussion. We'll also be using it to post announcements like when signups go up, so you won't even have to log into the forum to keep track of things!
To try it out, click here: https://discord.gg/vhbtZak There is an app you can download if you want, but it works fine in a browser. Spread this link to anyone you know who plays, even if they're not active any more. The busier we can get it, the more we can bring our community together and grow it!
I need to say sorry to you all for disappearing. Real life got the best of me. Not in a bad way, but it became overwhelming. I'm used to my new job now and ready for a big comeback.
So let's talk about you. Who has shown improvement the last months? Who are the players to watch? Did the meta become more friendly?
I have finally come to the conclusion that I just lack the ability to finish mafia games anymore. The funs just not there. Maybe I should try another site or something.

It depends what the problem is really. Mafia Universe is a top quality site as long as you can cope with 48-72 hour Days with like 1000 posts per Day, but maybe having shorter games is what you're looking for.
The Family has officially migrated to the MTGS Mafia Discord server as our primary means of communication for discussion of Mafia Theory and other topics.
