Thing is, this is the new decklist, it used to have 6 transmuters, but I changed it last night and haven't really tested it since.
The trade seem legit though. I'll do it. I was just kinda happy of having almost all instants.
Demonic Tutor would totally be going in if I had some (they are better than transmuters in almost every way.) Diabolic I am unsure if it is worth it, and Beseech the Queen is something to look into (I own 4-5 IIRC.)
I'll think of it some more. I wanted to add some ways to deal with artifacts/enchantments.
As for my Esper control deck, it's just a bunch of Esper cards I threw together when I first started playing.
Nether-Go is an old control deck that works by not running any creatures other than 1-3 Nether Spirit, and then putting it into the graveyard via draw/discard effects. The deck runs a lot of cheap disruption (Duress, Counterspell, Mana Leak etc) and removal so that you can control the game. You then just counter/destroy/bounce everything your opponent drops and beat away with a Nether Spirit that proves very difficult to destroy. Accumulated Knowledge is often in there too.
What's up? If you don't want to talk about it on here feel free to PM me.
They look so awesome and flavorful. I may try building a WB EDH deck with them that aims to just control the board and exile tokens to draw cards. In fact, most of the cards my Divine VS Demonic duel decks aren't in any decks at the moment and there's a decent token subtheme running through them, so I could probably put something together with them. This is sounding really fun now.
Thats pretty cool, i have most of the non creatures for that deck atm. Same for nether go.
And its nothing anymore, im happy now and all is good.
So I went to 3 prereleases.
First Prerelease I chose Red. My deck was BRW control Went 4/0
Second one I went to was a 2HG. I chose Blue my partner chose black. We went X/1. He went BW control, I went RUG midrange control
Third one I went white. Went 3/0. I went RW Heroic/Bestow. Lots of removal with 3 Divine Verdict, 3 Magma Jet, 2 Lightning Strike, Two Rage of Poph, and some combat tricks. Also opened a Heliod
Spent $75 on the events. Made like $95. So pretty good.
Only notable pulls were Thassa and Heliod and that was in the last event.

Thanks to Heroes of the Plane for the awesome Sig.
I really badly would like to give Theros limited a try tomorrow night, but broke people can't play. Not to mention no sitter. Probably for the best though. I haven't played a limited game since 2005(?). I was pretty bad then. I think I would be better at sealed than draft too.
Man, I just wanna get out there and give these cards a try!
Mmmm hmmm... I recall a certain member that was very gung ho about becoming EC, despite objections from his clanmates. Let that be a lesson to ya!
I do hope you get it changed back. Etched Chester has more character and just feels right.
That's cool. One of my favorite things to do in Magic is to take an already established, high money deck and build a budget version - you generally have to work around a lot of flaws but I feel it's a good exercise in becoming better at both deck building and playing.
Totally unrelated - where is everybody?! We used to be such an active clan as well... Would a Finks contest get everybody more involved? I can run a CDCC, GMAD or card creation contest easily enough if you'll all get involved. I'd actually quite like to do a design-a-format contest at some point, but that seems like it would need a lot of planning.
The exercise is what I live for!
If we do a contest I will do my best to participate.
