The last Star Wars I saw opening night was Phantom Menace. Nah, I'm more than content to wait until it dies down. I still haven't seen Doctor Strange or Fantastic Beasts yet either.
@Stardust: Metal dice? Seems quite interesting. I thought magnesium doesn't like being touched though? (magnesium + a bit of water from moisture of human flesh -> magnesium hydroxide, which is corrosive + some hydrogen gas... I might be mistaken though.)
Also... as far as crafty stuff goes on Sporcle, we had a quiz-making Secret Santa-like event where we've been assigned to make quizzes for another person. This is the quiz I made - hopefully this one is more interesting to more people around here as it has questions regarding many different areas of pop culture.
3) A commercial for a grocery chain where they say "wonderful" five times.
I'm checking out Rogue One this Wednesday, there's a 70mm IMAX presentation running in Indianapolis. They had the same setup last year for The Force Awakens and it was amazing. Well worth the trip.
@Stardust: ...Maybe I got my stuff mixed up, as I was thinking of calcium instead. Calcium is the one that's more dangerous in this case. Magnesium isn't as dangerous (magnesium hydroxide is milk of magnesia, while Ca(OH)2 and CaO are the dangerous ones).
Aurora Illumina: A character always shunned in the fantasy world due to being too physically incompetent compared to the average fictional character, and also always ignored on Earth for making tests that are too difficult for the average person on Earth.
I got to see Rouge one 2 days early.
1)my four modern decks that no-one will allow me to test
2)my 5 custom tokens that are WIP
3)a laptop that had Ramen Noodle Broth spilled into it on accident
Anyways, Aurora wants to share another quiz with you... this time, not one she made herself, but one that someone else made as a gift for her. The 12 Animals of Christmas
Meanwhile, for our irregularly-scheduled scenario that breaks the fourth wall (or maybe even the fifth wall in this case)...
What would you do if a vampiric sculptomancer asked you to do 25 Celestial Spirals before replying to this message?
(Failure to complete this may result in a Gremlin firing 1001 styrofoam pellets at you.)
Kind of... but I actually took that from something that Lord Grey asked Aurora to do in the RP thread (and of course Aurora couldn't do it).
Note that if Aurora actually wanted to make her requests extremely difficult, she wouldn't be asking for jumps. She would instead be asking you to play difficult Etudes on the piano.
Couldn't? Aurora didn't even try to do them, she simply let her fears overtake her and resigned herself to the fine-casual purgatory that is the Jeevescake Factory. Sure, she isn't a fully powered demigod like some of her co-workers, but that's what character development is for.
If I return to RP, it probably won't be with Aurora, but with a new character that's a bit different in some ways (as I mentioned trying to keep the Aurora in my songs separate from the RP world). Most notably, she's not going to try to make random appearances in "real-world" threads like this one. The revelation of the "fourth wall curse" (which has no cure) was... well, something I kinda made up on the spot at the time because I couldn't think of another logical way to explain it, and it pretty much signaled the end for Aurora (I'll probably think of another way to "force" the bad ending to happen like that).
Aurora, Brilliant Glow 2WW
Planeswalker - Aurora
If a source would deal noncombat damage to Aurora, Brilliant Glow, instead prevent that damage and transform her.
+1: Until your next turn, creatures can't attack you or a planeswalker you control unless their controller pays 1 for each of those creatures.
-2: Exile target creature that attacked you or Aurora since your last turn. You gain life equal to that creature's power.
Starting loyalty: 4
-----
Aurora, the Incurable
[CI: White] Planeswalker - Aurora
Whenever you cast a spell, remove a loyalty counter from Aurora, the Incurable.
+2: You gain 3 life.
-3: Create a 4/4 white Cakeling Elemental creature token with lifelink.
Aurora seems to enjoy being in this thread more as she finds it safer here, and she prefers doing crafty things in the safety of this thread, on the other side of that dreaded fourth wall.
...Such as yet another keyboard click game. Also, expect the U-less music quiz tomorrow.

Overcome obstacles and become stronger in the process. Level up, channel your inner Figure of Destiny...or Warden of the First Tree if he's more your style.
If Miss Illumina ever gets tired of that grind and wants to elevate her game, she could reunite with her old squad. Just saying.
