Bee Tee Dubs: Does it strike anyone else that M14 has more (than usual) enchantment-related cards? Could that and all the counter-shenanigans herald mechanics from Theros?
@Kronik: Sene has a special "Limited Time Offer" thread for custom titles in the Speakeasy. Just make the request and you'll get it, even if your post count is <1000. I got mine in grey to go along with my username and to thematically convey its oxymoronic nature.

I currently have a Bruna, Light of Alabaster EDH deck and am looking to build yet another Aura themed deck: a pauper EDH featuring either Rhox War Monk or Bant Battlemage as the commander.

It's hard to see someone's true colors when you look through the computer screen (which is the stained glass).

I had my viewing of fireworks on Canada Day, July 1st. Not much for me tomorrow though.
(And... no, I don't think we're going to go south of the border to see more fireworks...)
I have to work tomorrow... all day... but that just means time and a half! In addition to holiday pay~ That also means that I can check to see when I work next week, so I can get together with Kank...
Oh and in case I didn't tell anyone, I met Jabberwocky and his wife at GPLV. He was really cool.

Going to my Mom's tomorrow with my Brother and Sister for some kind of cook out. I'm not sure if we are going to do any fireworks or not. If not I might go watch them at the lake when I get home otherwise (if it doesn't pour down with rain like they are suggesting it will).
Prior to heading to Vegas, Jabberwocky caught wind that I would be attending as well and we told each other about some identifying traits to see if we could find each other when we were there. For me, I told him I'd be wearing a 1 of 2 vocaloid shirts. Then my atypical asian description 5'3", 160lbs, glasses... He told me that he was 6' and his wife came up to his shoulder. The shirt he decided on was one with a fish skeleton on the back and that his trademark item would be a large grey dufflebag. I ended up finding him after I had dropped from the main event. I helped him get a bunch of cards signed and in return he gave me some unique cards to get signed. We talked about MTGS a bit and then about Magic stuffs. I really enjoyed meeting him. I wonder who I can meet up with next...

Tasty as potato salad? Hungry as a wolf? I could die for my grandmother's cucumber & bean salad. It's very simple. Cut the cucumber in thin slices, add 1-2 cans of green beans, add 1/2 cup water, add as much as you like of lemon vinegar (don't know if it exists outside of germany, though. Here is a pic of it), season to taste with salt & pepper. Mix it, and let it rest for about half an hour in the fridge. Yummy!
Or my mother's lasagna...damnit. Now I'm hungry, too

PG, you exited about Pokemon X & Y? I will buy a Nintendo 3DS XL (I stopped buying the handhelds after the GameBoy Color) and the Y Version. Happily, my birthday's in october and I'll have two weeks of vacation
Aaand: Anyone into the PS4? I really didn't plan to buy one (despite owning the 2 and 3) but as I watched some E3 game trailers I must say, damnit, next year's summer vacation is going to happen with a PS4 before my tv

Oh, I've had some mighty tasty macaroni salads in my day. That's usually my first round draft pick in the cold mayo-based picnic side dish category.
