You heard it here first, folks. Every month this year has been the hottest month of it's type since records began (back in 1880), and this July was officially the hottest month ever. Most of this is caused by the Northern Hemisphere (more land so faster temp change and higher averages) but even in NZ it's one of the warmest winters we've ever had. Aside from several dodgy nights we've basically skipped a season. It's been pretty nice, but this will probably be me in December.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
I feel that June and July were pretty warm here in Ontario, Canada. there were a few warm days in August but its cooled down a lot now. I even had to wear a jacket yesterday, which I haven't done in a while
Semi related: if anyone has two hours free and wants a summary of some material related to climate change, watch Before the Flood. It's pretty good, if basic, and Leonardo DiCaprio hosts it.
I glad somebody mentioned the Arctic temp. anomaly. It's such a huge deal and it's getting almost zero attention. Are people just going to wait around until low lying coastal lands are inundated. Everyone in the US is so caught up with "Trump" that all other news is ignored. Talk about heads in the sand.

I didn't put this in Debate because aside from "how ****ed are we?" I don't know how much discussion there is to be had.

Your animated pic gives me the wingest boner, so there's that.
