I introduced my play group to magic. I was the U loving blue player I am now. I drove them away from the color blue towards the colors green and red because of more controlling tempo strategies. I still play with them now and always joke around with them whenever they ask me why all my decks contain blue, bluemasterrace man... can't beat it.

I am a HUUUUGE Three Stooges fan! My Saturday mornings as a kid would start w/ Little Rascals, go into Popeye, then typical Saturday morning cartoons, then an hour of Three Stooges, then The Munsters.
The other reference in the name comes from the Farrelly Brothers classic comedy "Kingpin" in which the line "I otta stooge slap you" was uttered by Sea Bass (played by the baseball player Roger Clemmens). It just stuck in my head (like a "stooge slap" lol...).
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
I started playing Magic during Kamigawa block. From one of my first boosters, I pulled ... nope, not Soramaro, First to Dream, but Descendant of Soramaro. I thought the name sounded cool so I started using it, without knowing who Soramaro even was. I never came across his card during that time and only looked it up years later.
One of my favorite cards when I started playing was Royal Assassin. I flipped it around and added an 'e' to make it sound fancy. I joined the forums back in 2005 or so but after taking a break from magic, I couldn't remember my login, so I made a new account on a date that had lots of sevens in it for luck.
I carried my username over from my XBL gamertag. I just came up with it off the top of my head the moment that it asked me to create a GT; also because most of my friends/family have weird names like "monkey wrench" and "rogue biscuits" (actual friend/family GT withheld for privacy reasons).
Started using it for Gamecube games when I was a kid and it started to stick. I really liked the look of old greek mythology, and the Cerberus was super menacing and I thought it looked cool. As far as 8 that's my favourite number.
