Hey so long as you dont go around telling people "yeah i named him after the planeswalker" you should be fine, the name itself is actually not that bad anyways.

Call me old fashioned, but an evil ascension to power just isn't the same without someone chanting faux Latin in the background.
Oreo, Glazing people better than Dunkin' Donuts since 2009
That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange eons even death may die.
I believe that I have enough social competence to slip into a party or two, potentially wooing some attractive females that would not mind spending the evening performing the booty dance on me.
Considering that I've seriously given thought to naming a daughter Teia before (hey, at worst it'd just sound like I got creative in spelling Téa, rather than naming a human being after a roleplay/story character I originally created when I was 12 or so), I don't have a lot of room to criticize someone naming their kid Jace. So long as his middle name isn't Beleren or The Mind Sculptor, you've got plausible deniability on your side.
Isn't there a Jace Skywalker in the Star Wars extended universe?
Jacen Solo. Han's son. Later becomes Darth Caedus, kills Luke's wife Mara, and gets killed by his twin sister Jaina. To say he was brutally derailed as a character is understating things quite a bit.

Sweet Lord in Heaven Spoiler alert...
I have a friend whose child is named Jace and calls him the littlest Planeswalker. My Nephew is also named Jace and it has no magic influence at all.
If you take a look at the graph, you can see a huge rise in the number of baby boys being named Jace around 2009. Unfortunately, Worldwake came out in 2010.
Well I guess the Jace Beleren came out in Lorwyn back in like 2007.
PS. My favorite part is the funny looking guy named Jace who posted his picture up. =)
Carpe Diem.

(I know a jason who goes by Jace so it should be fine)

if you feel its a good idea to name your son after a card game character, maybe your not mature enough to have a baby yet

I laughed, so loud.
But yeah, its a cool name and you could always collect Jace's for when he gets older to trip him out with it.
