"Be thankful you're healthy."
"Be bitter you're not going to stay that way"

"Things could be one hell of a lot better," he answered heatedly."

No, I have a lot of things I am thankful for. Health, happiness, security. I'm a very, very lucky person.
Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -how passionately I hate them!
Quote from Nietzsche »
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

Starbucks Espresso when combined in my espresso machine. I'm not sure how it all happens, but I combo the two together and this wonderfull black stuff comes out.
"Hello! I've come to serenade you. I can't play guitar. I can't play this accordion either, but I thought it'd be less obvious."
Dylan Moran, Black Books
(M:tG) It's a hobby which costs money. You can't play golf without the right clubs and a membership for the golf court, you can't play paintball with a cardboard armor and a sling, you can't go to the movies without paying for a ticket and you can't play Magic without owning the cards. Simple as that.
1. My friends and family who deep down I know care. Even though sometimes it seems like they don't
2. The fact that I'm alive and healthy and that one day I will die. Who wants to live forever?
3. This site, for being an excellent outlet, and also my favorite girls here for being protective of me and being understanding of who I am. I'm looking at you TT, marski_ and Tneill.
4. Everything else that I missed.

You sir (T2), have an excellent taste in music. I'd be hardpressed to find an MTGS member who knows who the hell Verdi is, but I'm glad you do.
On a different note, I'm thankful for all the corny stuff, like friends and family and health and all that. But I just realized that when I was home from college this weekend, just hanging out with relatives I haven't seen in a while, that home is the greatest thing in the world. Just getting away from it all and relaxing where you grew up with familiar people....nothing else like it in the world (cue studio audience 'awwwwww!'). It may sound stupid, but it's true.

I'm thankful for having a steady relationship with a hot girlfriend, to be doing well-enough in school, to have a steady-sized group of good friends, and to be successfully putting a stop to my pornographic habits. It's a good year.
