Does anyone have it? I've been considering purchasing a Sirius radio/tuner for our car, but I have not decided if I should. I would like your input before I make a $150 purchase, plus the $12 monthy fee.
What's the difference between this and normal radio? Just more channels? Personally, I find that everything I want is either in the normal channels or on CDs...
Personally the only reason I'd get satellite radio is if I'm always on the go cause I'm a sports fan and u know how that is... Anyway, if u already buy a lot of CD's and just want it for more music then Nex is right IMO; Sattelite isn't for u.
I considered getting a satellite radio, but decided to go with a usb fm transmitter instead. That way I can play any station that's available online (most bigger stations are available online) on my laptop and transmit it to my stereo. My laptop then becomes a radio that picks up an infinite array of radio stations from around the world. And the transmitter was only $25. Heh. Being thrifty rocks.
I honestly would rather have XM than Sirius, but only because our local show that was taken off the air now plays on XM I believe (Bubba the Love Sponge, you may have heard of him.)
I'd totally go with XM as well. And theres a big reason to get it. Howard is moving to satalite next year, and that'll be the only way you can hear him.
I guess the big difference between Satelite and normal radio is that Satalite gets weird stations you'll probably never hear normally, its uncensored and commercial free.
So what do you guys think.
This was the one I was considering:
Archatmos
Excellion
Fracture: Israfiel (WBR), Wujal (URG), Valedon (GUB), Amduat (BGW), Paladris (RWU)
Collision (Set Two of the Fracture Block)
Quest for the Forsaken (Set Two of the Excellion Block)
Katingal: Plane of Chains
I guess the big difference between Satelite and normal radio is that Satalite gets weird stations you'll probably never hear normally, its uncensored and commercial free.
Mmmmm, commercial free, uncensored Stern.....PUM!!!
