Immediately following the death of Vincent, the Azzyrian forces mobilized the bulk of their army to move on Amistar. Dominick's messenger indicated that Vincent was dead and the time to act was now! What the dead Azzyrian strike force leader hadn't counted on, however, was Syra's strong hand and guiding influence to restore order so quickly. In many ways, Vincent's death was a boon to Amistar. The Loops were destroyed and the people had free will and a want to live again. As soon as the foreign army appeared on the horizon, nearly every able-bodied man and woman of Amistar volunteered to take up arms and fight for their homeland.

The war has dragged on for nearly a year. Casualties are high on both sides, but the Tower of Amistar still stands strong, shining as a beacon of inspiration for the Amistarians. The time has come for the Azzyrians to cut their losses and worry about defending their own home from potential invasions. And so a messenger was dispatched to inform Syra of the desire to meet and discuss a treaty with King Malric of Azzyr. Once the meeting was agreed upon, the King and his trusted advisers set off on the fortnight's trip to the border town of Damalar, which was as neutral a location as possible given the circumstances.

It is a brisk autumn day. Rising early, you can hear the birds chirping, and the wind gently blowing through the tall grass near your camp. You are a member of King Malric's consort headed to meet the Amistarian contingent in Damalar. Most of you are not prepared for the sight that greets you as you exit your tent - King Malric's head impaled on a spear driven into the ground. Written in the dirt at the foot of the spear are the words "Traitor. Amistar must fall."
It seems some contingent among you does not desire this peace to happen. "Who are they?" is the question you must answer.
Amistarian III is a game for 16 players. It was reviewed by Ged and ganderin_dan. (Thanks, guys; you are awesome!)
It features the burnout mechanic.
The story arc continues - the events that occur in this game will shape the history of Amistar. Will Syra be greeted by a peaceful contingent of Azzyrians when she reaches Damalar? Or will a treachery be afoot?

Should I read up on the past games? Or is prior knowledge not necessary?
Not necessary; might help you enjoy the story, though. (And perhaps inside jokes that are bound to occur - such as vezokpiraka claiming scum in the last game.)
If you're not familiar with the burnout mechanic, it will be explained in the rules.

Can I be a mod-confirmed miller-traitor again? That was fun.

Presently in the current league game (1)
/in, soon to be one game.
If he lets me, that is I'm in one game (WWE), and I will be V/LA from 7/3-7/8. But I think you know I'm actively posting.
I doubt the existence of that jpg.
I'm only actually in one game, but I'm going to be needing to be paying attention to 3-4 games for the foreseeable future so I had better not, no matter how much I want to play with Iso again.
Pretty sure that's a poor play. Megs has a jpg for every occasion.
I secretly love his jpgs but am too tsundere to ask to see them nicely.
Signed up for a basic.
In one game currently.
Maybe in, maybe replace?
Put me as a very, very tentative /in for now.
