MTGS Mafia Redux 2 is a mini game inspired by the last five years in mafia. (Sorry, fans of French Mafia that don't exist.) Since I'm an old fogey, preference for game slots will be given to players who have been playing mafia here for longer, even though they probably won't get most of the references either.
Signups will be open for 72 hours. When you sign up, please answer the following questions:
- How many games are you in?
- Would you rather I run two versions of the game simultaneously in secret subforums, a la Cyan's Impossible Mafia, or would you rather I run only one version in the main forum?
- If I run two versions of the game, would you rather I distribute players randomly between the two games, or would you rather I make one of the games an "invitational" version? (The way I envision the latter, I'd designate 8-9 players as "invitational" players, put them in one game, and distribute the rest randomly.)
- What is your favorite game of mafia ever on this forum? (No points for sycophants.)

Favorite game has to be GIANT ROBOT BATTLE ROYAL!!! mafia for teh silly. And for the brilliant D3 play by the town.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
I do not care if you run two versions of the game. I have a slight preference for mixing the players up if you do, however, rather than sticking all us old guys in the same game (again).
I can't even begin to think about what my favorite game ever might have been. In the last five? ....maybe Joss Whedon Mafia?

I need to think more about the game I enjoyed most.
I disagree with running two games considering we will still be over forum capacity (because of the extra league game) after all the games still in the pipelines start. However I would agree with two simultaneous games if we momentarily reduce the basic or mini queue by one game to accommodate for this one. I do believe a Xyre game deserves special treatment.

The game is not being dumbed down. Control is doing fine; Draw-Go is not the only kind of control. Aggro is doing fine; Red Deck Wins is not the only kind of aggro. Creature combat is an important core concept and belongs in every color. Mythic rarity is not destroying the game. People whine too much for no good reason. I'm in one game right now. (Unheard of, right?)
I'm fine with a mirrored version if there's enough interest in the game.
I don't care how players are distributed as long as the one I get in has a good base.
Deitriptychos was my favorite game on this site. Amnesia and Seasons are good seconds.
