Yo, reminder to come back and talk about this future Sloth.
Ok with the yeet official let's talk about this:
As far as I'm concerned, we had Anak dead to rights and throughout the entire Day, not a single player offered an actually valid defense of him - at least one that didn't warrant a huge amount of suspicion regardless.
What this means is in the scenario where Anak somehow flips Town, the players that were resistant to vote him for no specific reason (or gave no reason at all honestly) look bad to me and there's likely scum there: Someone trying to later say "see, I knew something felt wrong."
That means Vaimes, Bur, Cuth (?)
I guess Tammy too but lol she's done that every Day so far.
I'm really thinking we dont need to go down this rabbit hole and Anak just flips red here, but wanted to get that out there before we go into Night.
glglgl
I said it earlier, I don't really think scum!Anak can pull all this off. I'm pretty sure Anak is town here and I'm just hoping we don't lose to vitality thief.
Just in case we don't see D5: my current post-game spicy take for scum team is HR/Sloth/KJ/Bessie.
It's probably not that, but I can't think of anything else right now.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
If I know your father, he'll face up to it square and do what's right. But Eda only knows what he'll think is the right thing to do. Probably whatever hurts the most.
Anak has been condemned he was: Burrich - Town Stable Master
Very little worth knowing is taught by fear.
You are Burrich, the stable master at Buckkeep. Before Chivalry entered exile, you were his right-hand man and you took responsibility for raising his bastard son Fitz.
You start with 6 Vitality.
The Wit: 1-Shot Anytime Action - You bond with another player and are able to each send one 30-word message per phase to each other.
Sealed: Passive - You cannot use the Skill.
Heart of the Pack: Passive - Each Night, if you have a Wit partner, you lose 1V and one of your Wit partner(s) gains 1V.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.
LastWhisper has left the game victorious.
He was Jinna - Neutral Hedge Witch
We are the sum of all we have done added to the sum of all that has been done to us.
You are Jinna, a hedge witch in Buckkeep. You peddle charms and spells. You befriended the lonely Tom Badgerlock when he provided hospitality to you. You are deeply suspicious of the low magic known as the Wit. Its filthy users being little better than the animals they consort with.
You start with 7 Vitality.
You win and leave the game when you kill three Witted players, either through actions or by using your vote. If it becomes impossible for you to win, you will leave the game as well.
The Wit is an ability which five players in this game possess that allows them to create a permanent, limited, chat with another player of their choice.
Hedge Magic: Day Action - You may spend 1V to give a player a charm (they are notified that they have received a charm). The first time each phase that a player holding a charm sends a message, you are notified that they have sent one.
Curse: Night Action - You may spend 1V to consume all charms. Each Witted player holding a charm loses 3V. Each other player holding a charm loses 1V. You gain all Vitality lost this way.
It is now Night 4. N4 will end at 0900 AEDT on Wednesday the 27th. Countdown. Please do not post.
Death moved swiftly in the night. When you awoke you saw 3 dead bodies.
Bessie has died, she was: Will - Mafia Skill Coterie
Or could the completeness of the memory be the bright overlay of the Skill, and the later drugs a man takes to control his addiction to it, the drugs that bring on pains and cravings of their own?
When the Red Ship War began, the Seven Kingdoms were desperately short on trained Skill users. You were part of the wartime effort to rebuild the Skill Coteries. You were a star pupil of Skillmaster Galen and became a loyal member of Prince Regal's Coterie.
You start with 3 Vitality.
Hidden Knowledge: Passive - While you Skill with a player, you may read all other messages sent to that player during that time.
King’s Coterie: Passive - As long as a member of the Coterie is alive, the scum team can pay vitality costs as a team.
Interference: Anytime Action - You may spend 1V to prevent target player from receiving or sending messages during this phase.
You win when you achieve control of the vote.
Cuthalion has died, he was: Chade Fallstar - Town Royal Assassin
Sometimes, it would be much easier to die for one's king than to give one's life for him.
You are Chade, bastard brother to King Shrewd. You always have lived in your royal brother's shadow. First as a jealous young man and then as his assassin. Due to an experiment gone wrong, your entire face is scarred and you've become synonymous with the legendary pocked man as a symbol foretelling death.
You start with 2 Vitality.
Counselor: Day Action - In the first 24 hours of each Day phase, you may predict to the host who will be condemned at the end of the Day phase (you may choose to guess no one). If you are correct, you gain 1V.
Lady Thyme: Night Action - You may spend 2V to make target player lose 4V.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.
Tammy has died, she was: Molly - Town Chandler
Save what you can of her, and let her keep what she can of the wild and daring boy she loved.
You are Molly, the daughter of candlemakers in Buckkeep. You are a fiercely independent woman who was childhood friends with Fitz. Your father was a crippling alcoholic and you do your best to keep the family shop alive.
You start with 4 Vitality.
Mother's Pride: Night Action - You may spend 1V to protect another target player. If that player is attacked overnight, they do not lose any Vitality.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

So that means... there's probably 3 scum left in [Boom/HR/Sloth/Bur]
I'll reread these 4 over the next few days to see what i find.

Sloth has/had an awful PoE, Boom kept defending bessie. Highroller for last scum, for being perfectly okay with killing Anak and letting Wisp win after spending weeks trying to kill Wisp. I don't believe for a second that he waited until Day 4 to ask the mod if the neutral could win without ruining the game for town or whatever that was.
That's what I'm feeling but I'm rereading bessie posts + mentions before I make any hard decisions.

This is not what you claimed to me. I just double checked the skill, and you implied that you were a vit thief and said that you use one vitality to take one vitality. You said you didn't target HR night one, but that you were responsible for GJ night two. (And, you said yes that was me which I took to mean you took vitality from Boomfang. When I asked you why GJ instead of one of the top wagons, you talked about your suspicion on Johnny and that you didn't mean to kill him because you didn't expect him to die but you wanted to see how he reacted to losing vitality. In fact, in number 9, you literally asked me if I had an opinion on who you should shoot to which I replied that my understanding of the game was too *****ty to have an opinion on this. You said you have one more shot.
No one seemed to pick up on it and I didn't draw attention to it 'cause maybe I would attract the vit thief or the RBer if it existed: Boom was my last shot on N3.
Far as I can tell, neither happened. I asked Grape if I would be informed of being blocked if I didn't use anything, but given no one reported that for the previous Nights, I'm assuming not.
Highroller is basically scum in all worlds imo. The other three I keep flip-flopping on. Tubba is mostly town for AtE stuff, which is unreliable. Wisp was a die-hard town!HR stan. Sloth is just a smooth player and I struggle with his content.
Highroller tunneled a neutral for literally the entire game, and then switched over to Anak when Wisp's win was inevitable. I don't think he can be town, because then the remaining team has to be Boom/Tubba/Sloth.
Why did you even have bessie as a townread? Walk me through your thoughts on her since she replaced in, be as detailed as possible.
You keep making weird as ***** statements toDay - like, is it just cause your riding the high of a scum death and you're feeling manic?
I ask this because where are you getting the idea I had Bessie as a townread exactly?
I was pressing her more than most others yesterDay, and she was on my POE when I discussed her - what's up Vaimes?
I want to hear more from @Tubba toDay - I've been championing him all game but all other OG witters are dead, so just by probability that indicates he might be scum, right?
I was also going to ask Killjoy to vote two random players now but I now realize that'd probably be a bad idea. Don't think he's scum anyway, though I should reread.

Actually **** it: Tubba's a Witter, he witted me N2. I didn't reply due to a combination of not sure what to say/what the benefit would be, and because I was too busy to IRL.
I don't really think this means much re: his alignment? We are working under the assumption that at least one of the 5 Witters is scum, so I guess we could talk about who we know has the wit right now (CC is dead town, there's Tubba, who else claimed to have it?) at some point. I don't think that point is now though, because it's not like we don't have suspects independent of setup.
I think the game kind of looks a bit like:
Town
Slothful
Tammy
Cantripmancer (?)
Townish
BoomFrog
Bessie
Killjoy
Null...? Or something
Anaklusmos
Cuthalion
Highroller
Scummish
Vaimes (?)
Tubba Fett
Bur
Azrael
3rder: Wisp
Aside from the grouping, this list is not in an order that should be considered relevant.
Please, point me to your in-thread read of bessie as being in your PoE.
(If I missed it, I apologize, I'm using the MTGS search feature.)
This game has gotten annoying and reading the day hasnt helped though I shouldnt have lashed out at Wisp.
I'm also very short on time as mentioned (gotta go right about now actually).
I'll step back and start from scratch when I return.
Right now, I kind of feel that if the yeet is not Wisp, then somewhere in {cuth/bessie/anak} seems like a good place to focus on?
I will dive into those three when I'm back.
That makes no sense. That same event gave us extra vit/skill. If it IS a scum ability somehow, they would have never used it.
Watcher/Tracker Combo is one of the most common roles you see in games.
The watcher (bessie) is theoretically the scummier of the two because it has more of a PR hunting vibe.
(Also because it hasn't flipped town.)
?
You mean the Etta thing? I figured Tammy might need my flavor - she didn't have it, but if asked about it I could provide it.
I wiki'd the name, just thought it'd be cool to be prostitute.
Sloth, I checked the last half of your ISO (15 pages) and these are the ONLY mentions of you "suspecting" bessie in that time. Unless you've been calling her bes and my control + F search failed me.

Not gonna lie, this looks really bad for Bur. Either that or it's just a lucky break for scum.
So I guess we look at this toDay.
...Bessie skilling Bur pretty much clears Bur right? Why lie about that?
Why would scum need to skill their own scummates to tell them what's up? They would just tell them.
That's what I'm feeling but I'm rereading bessie posts + mentions before I make any hard decisions.
A little wifom-y, but Bur did say he expected to be targeted by 0-1 scum.
This is everyone who Skilled Bur. Did two mafia (bessie and Boom) target Bur, or are they not partners?
Something to think about during your rereads.
The only person I got annoyed at there was Wisp, the reason was because he was being lazy and at that point I was suspecting everyone.
Here's a post where you call out the same issue, before me.
Please talk about this further.
Anyway, I just pointed out that her claim wasn't the same as Cantrip's. You use defensive language like "easy yeet opportunity."
Tammy actually outted it:
No one seemed to pick up on it and I didn't draw attention to it 'cause maybe I would attract the vit thief or the RBer if it existed: Boom was my last shot on N3.
Far as I can tell, neither happened. I asked Grape if I would be informed of being blocked if I didn't use anything, but given no one reported that for the previous Nights, I'm assuming not.
Bessie's scum and that's great, but that doesn't make me incorrect to be suspicious of that jump when there had been nothing before.
0-1 scum in [Boom]
2-3 scum in [HR, Tubba, Sloth]
Highroller is basically scum in all worlds imo. The other three I keep flip-flopping on. Tubba is mostly town for AtE stuff, which is unreliable. Wisp was a die-hard town!HR stan. Sloth is just a smooth player and I struggle with his content.

Boom and bessie both targeting Bur feels like it could be a softclear, but it's also a super easy way for mafia to look unaligned.
He defended and townread [or townleaned] bessie.
His claim is unconfirmable and has room to be fake.
He pushed a scum!Cuth world.
(If I missed it, I apologize, I'm using the MTGS search feature.)
