Kip: He's late for dinner again. The others are waiting.
Chip: He's always late.
Kip: Yes, but this time he is really late.
Chip: He is probably chasing a butterfly somewhere.
Kip: Let's go look for him. The others will be angry.
Chip: There he is!
Kip: Looks like he won't be chasing butterflies anymore.
xX_WakeMeUp1337_Xx is in a coma. They were Dopey, Town Vanilla
The dwarves, realizing Dopey isn't just late for dinner, find his body and put it in a casket close to Snow White's.
It is now Day 2. Deadline is Friday, October 2nd, 7pm GMT+1
I mean what is your point? Are you gonna go after JT now? That's the only other PR claim. Or are they both town and scum shot a recently-replaced vanilla for the memes?

no. i'm just saying that was my gut response to your observation that the claimed PRs didn't appear to be messed with.
Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
I was not roleblocked and my target is still alive.
Silver, please confirm buddy.
Why Silver? He was a supporter yesterday. Wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to target someone who was suspicious of you?

In any event. I'm going to do a thing on ZDS in a bit. See what there is to see.

He was the player I got the most consistent townie read from yesterday.
But why does that even matter for your ability? Were you concerned about targeting a scum and having that person lie? Seems unlikely.

I've requested night actions be reviewed to make sure it wasn't missed but, as Axelrod said it would have made more sense to target someone you were town reading who thought you were a wolf than to target someone with a mutual town read on you
Assuming actions have been resolved correctly there are a few things that *might* have happened (silent roleblock or redirect being one of them, the other being CC is a wolf and wants to thunderdome me lmao)
I know that the "final" vote count doesn't completely represent what happened, and there were people jumping on and off wagons at various points, but this is where I start.
I got strong Town vibes off Highroller basically all D1 and I am loathe to give that up. The ZDS vote here did not seem suspicious. He had already expressed some suspicion of ZDS earlier, and here he thinks he's caught ZDS in an inconsistency. I think ZDS even conceded later that he had made a mistake. I still don't see this as suspicious. If Highroller's scum, he kind of lucked out that he "caught" a townie in a minor mistake and was able to bulldog it all the way through to a lynch. I imagine Highroller is capable of being the bulldog as scum, but it still doesn't feel like it here. This and his later posts seem like genuine conviction.
The only thing that's questionable is Highroller's seeming complete inability to consider that he might be wrong. Reading his posts, I see no doubts. No second thoughts. Only complete certainty, with scorn for people who can't see it. This might just be a Highroller thing though.
Third Vote: Cropcircles at #567. This wasn't CC's first vote for ZDS, and this one was more to secure a lynch than anything else. CC first voted ZDS all the way back at #102, even before Highroller did. The basis for the vote was that he didn't like ZDS's vote for him. It looked fairly OMGUS, but it was also early.
I already posted that I didn't think early game CC looked great. I thought he improved somewhat when he got out of the ZDS tunnel and started talking about other people. He did a brief casing of DKing (who became WakeMeUp) at #303, and I thought that was fair. And then a brief analysis of Jackrito at #304, which was also fine.
He switches his vote to DKing as his next most suspect after ZDS, and it's not completely clear to me why he's doing that, unless it's that he feels the ZDS case is just getting no traction. He's still saying ZDS is his top suspect. So, I'm not a huge fan of that.
DK replaced out shortly after and CC unvoted as a result. That is pretty neutral to me. Revotes ZDS at #433. CC claims Friendly Neighbor at #472.
There's one more unvote/revote that happens during the deadline scramble. Some people are trying to drum up support for a JoeTerry wagon (Vaimes/Proph/Silver), and CC jumps there at #547. It is again unclear to me why he is doing this given ZDS is still his top suspect, but, again, maybe he's thinking there's not enough support for a ZDS wagon?
Quickly reverses himself at #567, going back to voting ZDS where he will stay. Says he went back to look at the reasons people were voting for JoeTerry and didn't actually think there was much there. He still seems to think his original reason for suspecting Joe is valid, but also that it "isn't enough for a lynch." Says he's still got a "gut" feeling about Joe, but that's about all.
I think the truth here is that he saw the writing on the wall that it was going to be either him or ZDS. I would probably have preferred it if he had just said that, instead of making out that he did a whole re-read of Joe and other people's points and concluded the case wasn't good enough.
So.
I am still not a huge fan of CC in this game, and none of this really changes my opinion. I think his original ZDS vote was poor, and subsequent justifications did not get better. I'm okay with his vote for DKing, townie notwithstanding, but I don't understand why he went there at all while still saying ZDS was his top suspect. The late Joe vote was strange also, given he appeared to not understand why other people were voting for Joe when he did it. And the self-preservation vote for ZDS at the end which wasn't acknowledged as such.
All that said, he's got someone vouching for him, and a claimed repeatable ability, and I don't really see eliminating him under these circumstances. Aaaaaaannnnnnd I just previewed and this is not actually the case.
Huh.
I was stopping here anyway because I have to go, but I'll have more thought later.

I'm ~kind of worried Proph is scum. I think he's someone that would propose a WMU shot while hoping that town!JT and I keep sniping at each other.
I think WMU is a weird shot, specifically as a replacement, because they were still kinda trying to get their bearings. And they scumread ZDS/Proph/Cayvie.
initial nk thought is that wolves want to maintain the status quo; given that, i find it somewhat likely that we're barking up the completely wrong tree, that there's a wolf roleblocker or something similar, and that this CC situation is a trap
because there's no way in hell WMU was the optimal NK target through a pure SPK lens, and i doubt it makes a ton of sense as a PR hunt either
i think if CC is town we can assume the roleblock is real regardless of silver's alignment
cause obviously the wolves would have no reason to suspect CC would target silver, and if we assume the nk was to set up a sleepwalk misdunk today then we can assume that they would use the roleblock to seal the deal
+ i don't think w!silver would have any reason to go for the 1 for 1 here
another thought i just had is that all this setup for a CC dunk could be a gambit to try to buy JT extra time? i was lightly townreading him yesterday but it was a lazy read and probably needs updating. wouldn't be surprised to be wrong there

a lot of roads my brain is wandering down wind up at "maybe it's just cayvie" tbh

Out of curiosity who do you think would have been the optimal NK?

if i put myself in the wolfteam's shoes i probably shoot axel or vaimes
I think if I were a wolf and CC is town and I roleblocked him I just, you know, lie and say I got the message instead of thunderdoming him lol
Mod literally told me "banana" when I asked whether I should have gotten a message. Presumably that means actions were resolved correctly? Not sure I want to live in a world where actions were resolved incorrectly and a mod didn't take steps to correct it lmao.
Setting aside CC until we get confirmation on if CC would be notified about a roleblock, I have a really hard time seeing myself voting anyone but Cayvie and JT today.
JT was very scummy at the EoD yesterday but I think that Cayvie has higher equity. It's more about Jackrito's behavior than Cayvie's but Cayvie hasn't done a single thing that screams town to me.
Seems silly for CropCircles to trade me 1 for 1 if he's a wolf but maybe they figured it's the best they could do to try to get another misexecution before he actually dies
Like CC's play here is nuts, but CC was also in a bad spot if scum? I don't know I assume CC is town here but if the mods say that CC would have been notified of a block in that hypothetical situation I can't see myself voting anyone else.

heh
i came up with a thematic pun
heigh-ho silver
i mean my immediate instinct is that this means some of the claimed PRs are scum
no thanks
what are these words?
then cc is p much cleared? i mean what
no. i'm just saying that was my gut response to your observation that the claimed PRs didn't appear to be messed with.
I'm gonna go reread now.
why would that make more sense? idgi

Redirect [to scum] is possible. CC being scum is possible.
First Vote: Highroller at #111.
I got strong Town vibes off Highroller basically all D1 and I am loathe to give that up. The ZDS vote here did not seem suspicious. Assessment: Still Town.
Second Vote: WakeMeUp at #466. WakeMeUp was Town.
Third Vote: Cropcircles at #567. This wasn't CC's first vote for ZDS, and this one was more to secure a lynch than anything else. largely gut. getting reasonable wolf-type pings
will review more in-depth later
Eh.
JT being a wolf would complicate things a bit more but
i'm comfortable townreading highroller, axelrod, vaimes (i think), and like i said i think this CC situation is a trap
cause obviously the wolves would have no reason to suspect CC would target silver, and if we assume the nk was to set up a sleepwalk misdunk today then we can assume that they would use the roleblock to seal the deal

of course, i have no idea if that's standard here or not
but that's the angle i was approaching it from
i've been hurt before, ya gotta give me time to heal
Mod literally told me "banana" when I asked whether I should have gotten a message. Presumably that means actions were resolved correctly? Not sure I want to live in a world where actions were resolved incorrectly and a mod didn't take steps to correct it lmao.
Not sure what the odds are of Amy bussing on d2 though lol

Cayvie would be down for the fake claim, dunno about the rest of my PoE
Kind of just want to flip Cayvie and see what happens before I lock teams
