It's super ambiguous in the set-up: "Role Kill: instead of their normal kill, witches may name a player and a role. If that player has this role, they are killed twice. If they are not that role, they will instead survive the kill attempt."
If I claim truthfully, I open myself
up to a kill that can’t be prevented. Why does that situation mean that Ter, Osie and myself have to be town?
Oh didn't see this.
So, what do you think happened? Take me through it step by step
The other scenario is that you were the scum kill (again, makes zero sense b/c I would have put money on them killing osi, the most widely townread person by far, which is also why all of font's stuff came across as complete bs (no offense font)) and osi was the hunter kill, but again makes zero sense.

I honestly think you are either overestimating (or hiding behind a misrepresentation) of the benefit of a hypothetical angel that manages not to be blocked by demons vs. the solving potential that more information gets us. But I agree that we would should wait until we have a chance to discuss before claims. Hunter does seem like it logically would have been triggered

Exactly this and I would point out that I would rather have scum worry about hypothetical possibilities than give them something definitive. If the majority thinks claims are in order I’m willing.
They already know your role, Tubba. Only way they wouldn't would be if some weird ***** is going on. And if that weird ***** happened, then we need to know.

You, Umami, unless you are the gravedigger, cannot know that Terraine was a witch. This matches with you asking Tubba for his role, because if you were certain Terraine was a witch, then you would know either Tubba is the Survivalist or scum tried to rolekill him, and you wouldn't have needed to ask. Yet, you're voting for me, when there are 5 people alive, and two scum could show up and hammer. You did this before I even showed up in the thread.
So, font, what's your position on hunter claiming? Or doing a mass claim? Because either hunter is town and can confirm whether Osi or Tubba was their target--I'm assuming Tubba b/c Osi was the obvious NK target--or hunter is scum and won't claim in which case a mass claim would reveal them anyway
Also, what about that earlier question about playing up your NK fear after being reminded you said it was a thing? Did not feel like a genuine fear of your in the thread at all--more like that you were going through the motions because you were like 'right, yeah, I did say that earlier'
Sloth, how are you not getting weird vibes from font? You did a weak reaction test with, as you admit, super ambiguous results and just leap to the conclusion that because it's odd she must be town? I'm not following
Pretty sure I've stated I've been getting vibes off of font all game prior.
I also never "admitted" that the result of the reaction test are ambiguous. In fact, what I said was that I didn't see how scum!font would respond like that so I was towning her for it.

Hunter's not going to claim, because they're either Azrael or not town.
1. I don't think we're in lylo.
2. If we were, the GD claiming means they're a free kill, and they narrow the overall pool to help scum get more kills through the angel protects.
Actually, this is a good point. @Tubba Only claim Survivor or not!Survivor. Do not claim anything else.

If you create a test and don't have a metric for interpreting the results before getting the results, I would say it's not a great test. You had a rubric so to speak but the answer fell outside of any of your options which makes the results not super helpful. I just don't think that anything that falls outside of someone's normal automatically makes them town
I also feel like you were loose with your vote because you knew this wasn't lylo, because you knew Ter was scum. And you didn't act like you had that knowledge when talking to Tubba, because you've seemed to put thought into whether he was angel protected.

I assume that since you do not have a full rubric for evaluating answers to your questions in game, that every answer is therefore meaningless and you have no reads. Is that right?
I mean, yeah, I've reached the conclusion that Ter pretty much has to be scum
I mean, if she was an angel, she should have protected osi for sure
No matter how hard I try, Tubba doesn't make any sense as a scum target since he was all over Osi's suspect list and makes a good target, so now hunter almost has to be town to make sense, which begs the question why Ter would set off hunter as scum assassin for pretty much no gain? Could make sense that her partner is actually assassin and that Ter was BOD, which would mean that Tubba has to actually be Assassin which is why he wouldn't want to claim survivalist because there is a town survivalist

lol if I do a test, I have a specific reaction I'm looking for and if I don't get it then I consider the test null

having a test and interpreting it is very different then having a read, right? I mean you can have plenty of reads that aren't based on a specific test you generated

He did a test to generate a read, with a vague idea of what might happen. Something he didn't expect then happened. That obviously doesn't mean Sloth should just say "woops, can't read this, guess it's null," that's ridiculous.
For instance, I laid quite a bit of bait standing up for Ter, seeing if anyone would take it and try to flip the vote to me. Osi started to but she was my hardcore townread so that wasn't really helpful. You taking it later and setting up a future push against both Osi and me was interesting though

Osie is a he.
Forgive me if I don't believe you trying to get Az lynched and save scum was "bait."

Meh, I mean that everyone largely did nothing and kept pushing Ter wasn't exactly reassuring. Either my thing was too obvious and Ter's partner decided there was too much momentum to reverse it or Tubba hopped on board as a last ditch effort. Tubba is objectively the better lynch today, but you're definitely my vote for bussing partner
You, a town, decided to defend someone you thought was scum and further scum's wincon in order to see if any scum would jump on you for helping them. Someone you thought was town jumped on you during this, and you decided to keep going, gotta defend that scum until scum decide to push you. Did I get that right? Did you actually believe Azrael was scum during this or was that a read you bull*****ted as part of your bait?

Oh font, you're getting so fiery, I really don't think I'm going to convince you if you're town and I think you just want to yell at me a bit, but if you're scum kudos on the good push. Much more believable than your "someone's going to NK me night 1" thing

I don't get how your argument isn't that you were trying to bait scum!me (or sloth, I suppose) into voting town!Azrael to save Ter. Like, that would at least make some sense.

Yeah, I believed that Azrael was lurker scum, but feeling less like this today. Believed in Osi's Az/Ter team which is part of why I didn't think I was getting momentum and, yeah, if choosing between a scum pair, always believe in lynching someone giving zero info

Oh didn't see this.

They?
Hey, did you know that unless you are exactly one role, town!you wouldn't be certain this isn't lylo? Fun. Facts.
....
Sidebar, do you not use the singular they?
That's not why I misread it

No. I think Terraine was almost certainly scum. I also think Tubba should claim.
I am pointing out a problem with your thought process. Nothing more.
I also never "admitted" that the result of the reaction test are ambiguous. In fact, what I said was that I didn't see how scum!font would respond like that so I was towning her for it.

Hunter's not going to claim, because they're either Azrael or not town.
I'm not answering your other question.
Yeah, so do I. Otherwise she would have angel saved Osi.
If we are at LYLO, then why should GD claim? What does saving their info for a nonexistent day 4 get us?
