To people who appear to be wondering if my vote was serious or not. It's about a 2. (on my patented scale that I just made up from 1-5, where 1 is random and 5 is because I am positive you are scum. 2 is "a" reason which is not random, but which may also be a bad reason. This is acceptable in the early game, but not later).
To people who appear to be surprised or disappointed that I am not "doing more", I think you should not be surprised or disappointed.
Choubris was taken aback. “Sir, are you really saying that,” he began, then he too looked round as though afraid of being overheard, “that tyl Loesp, your father’s best friend; the glove to his hand, the very edge of his sword and all that, murdered your father?” He spoke the word in a whisper.
Ferbin looked at him with a face of such desperate fury and despair that Choubris felt himself flinch at the sight of it. “Plunged his filthy fist into my father’s chest and wrung the living force out of his beating heart!” Ferbin said, his voice sounding like it never had; all gasped and rough and wild. “I saw it clear as I see you now, Choubris. And if trying to think it away, if trying to persuade myself I was in any way mistaken, or drugged, or hallucinating, or dreaming could make it so, then by God I’d jump at that, I’d welcome that with both arms, both legs and a kiss. A million times over I’d rather be safely mad having imagined what I saw than know my only derangement is the grief of having seen what did take place!” That last phrase he roared into his servant’s face, one hand grasping the collar at Choubris’ throat.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

Same reason you are voting ITF: Think he is coasting, really didn't like his poppin today, and I am moving more null on Umani.
I don't know what Axel's meta would even look like. I know I played a Xzre game with him eons ago, and he is one of the old guard. He doesn't feel motivated to post.
Same reason you are voting ITF: Think he is coasting
I mean, this isn't even a thing you have to have suspicions about. I am totally coasting. As much as one can be said to be "coasting" this early on.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.

And if everyone suddenly took your strategy, boy howdy mafia would be a fun game.
I HATE lurkers, but even I can hunt when I need to. Long and short of it is the posts that you have made look bleh, and no one else has really been pinging me.
Coasting =/= lurking. And my issue is with the posts you are making, rather than the lack of hunting.
Other stuff: I think Urmama is town. I feel they're pure, and I liked his response to my question.
Tubba's kinda on my radar, but I'm not focusing on him rn.
I liked itf's posts, what did you specifically not like?
Tubba is definitely rough around the edges when I don't have my free Mason town read
Might have jumped to a rushed frustrated conclusion on them earlier

KJ, how do you read Tubba? We just played a game together, and until Sloth flipped, I had no read to a slight wolf read on him based on PoE. He just always feels pop in wolfy.
Tom, this question can do to you as well for all the same reasons.
Feels like a tasty mislynch for scum too. Any feels towards that?
ZDS wouldn’t go for LHF as scum I think.
I don’t know Jackrito well so
I think it's pretty clear in town Umani world, that guy is wolf bait.
But honestly, my issue is that I am having a hard time finding wolves. I don't want to just champs rule it up here in this *****, but there is probably at least one wolf in Rodemy/M plus 7/ITF.

ITF's post felt kind of lazy. Just a generic "umana is town", get people who think otherwise. I thought it was lazy, and I personally didn't like it.

Hey, back in my day we played entire large (20+) games in under 1000 posts. I am not the problem.
It is possible I was slightly more proactive back then.

don't remind me. I subbed into a game at 1500 into a wolf slot, only to die post 2000 something in. All on day 1
It hurt. I am still of the mindset if day 1 goes over 1000 posts in mtg world, it's pain.
At risk of promising something I won't deliver, I don't have to go to work tomorrow (courtesy of virus...yay?) so I don't have an excuse to not read the thread more closely and see if anything sticks out.
It's just that I don't really expect anything to stick out at this point.

@GJ
I’ll bite, elaborate on your Tom take?
As for your earlier question, not really? Last’s shift was jarring and even after seeing the slip, it seems less like a slip and just a way of speaking. I would say what Urmama (stolen) said in that same way and not think twice about it. Everything else is the usual Day One group of puppies fumbling over each other.
Things typically stick our more when there are bodies to point to. Like how I caught on to YWF when Vaimes wolf flipped.
@Tubba: Last always seems to think he has a gotcha tell on something. It feels pretty NAI. tom is more of a meta tell, and while I wouldn't act on that alone, it's raising an eyebrow. tom probably knows what I am getting at so we will see.
Gotcha is a mindset, you are either obnoxiously thick headed about some catch that may or may not exist, and handle it in a trolly or annoying fashion, which tends to irritate the opposing party
I haven't played much like that since the good ole days where Rodemy used to roll scum every game
I think it's pretty clear in town Umani world, that guy is wolf bait.
But honestly, my issue is that I am having a hard time finding wolves. I don't want to just champs rule it up here in this *****, but there is probably at least one wolf in Rodemy/M plus 7/ITF.
My HOT take is that tom might be a wolf.
Your hot take was right last time, so I'm going to tuck this post away for later.
Then there are players like Chris who tend to treat their reads like cop checks then tend to be like this as well, I personally try not to be like this anymore
I'm not arguing that I wasn't but I want axel to point to why. I basically hadn't read anything till yesterday and I don't know why I stuck out to Axel compared other low impact people (like Shadow for instance).
I'm assuming that from scum!Grape's POV I would look a lot more villagery and untouchable than if he were town [who doesn't know my alignment], and therefore I believe him to be town, unless this is a very specifically engineered pocket attempt.
Wow actually that doesn't leave that many people, hang on. New list.
Not a witch:
Vaimes
0-1 witches:
Grape, Jack, Umami, Last
0-2 witches? I dunno, I want this grouping to be separate:
tom, GJ, KJ
1-2 witches:
ZDS, Axel, M+, ITF
1-3 witches:
Rhand, tubba, shadow, Rod
Kind of a more accurate rep of my reads/general thread feelings. At this point in time several slots ended up near the bottom by virtue of not having much thread presence so I expect this'll be different a week from now.

So that's a lie
I wouldn't even call how I handled Umami, as a "got ya" moment
I mean, I saw your calling of it as a slip. Actually come to think of it since that was after:
@ZDS: I guessed at it, but what was the TMI slip on Umani you were talking about?
I thought you were much more gungho about that LW. But then, you take a year break and you forget things.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
What would you call it?
I'm very unsure about who might be a witch. Maybe once we get to post 500 posts, I'll solve the game.
I haven't played much like that since the good ole days where Rodemy used to roll scum every game
I'm not that bad. That happened what one time?
I agree with your conclusion but how did you get there from tom's post?
@Axel since it wasn't just activity what did you find underwhelming about my posts?
@Tom Who would you poke at out of the KJ, Vaimes, LW,and GJ group for the Umami handling?
I'm not arguing that I wasn't but I want axel to point to why. I basically hadn't read anything till yesterday and I don't know why I stuck out to Axel compared other low impact people (like Shadow for instance).
I'm not lynching ZDS, Axel, M+, or ITF without a compelling reason.
Is about where I'm at.
