I wasn't really planning on voting him
it was more of a meme
I am going to agree with Tom and believe I just awkwardly misread the intention of that post
But you said you didn't like the post. What does Regardless of what his intentions with that post, I didnt like it even mean, if you don't know what the intention is?
did I say something about intention? don't recall
contractions are my thing
did I say something about intention? don't recall
contractions are my thing
I'm gonna make a wild guess and say you aren't a mason this time around, so you're gonna want to start making note of the things you are choosing to physically type out and post that people will hold you accountable for.
I'll lead when the days shorten and the picture is clearer
Wait, that's my thing.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
I'll get to that post in a bit @ZDS
I just woke up
@Jackrito
I've never seen you vote this early, is there a particular reason for that vote?
This wagon will die once real content comes up
@Grape
@Rhand
Also have blank votes, but I don't think I'm gunna get a decent response from either of them
I want to start voting a little bit more, since I'm a little bit sick of being passive and hedgy. I do vote early sometimes though like in Token for instance I voted pretty early.
I like this wagon. I do pity Whispy who seems genuinely confused and annoyed by the growing stack of unexplained votes, so here I go:
— Whispy, why did you assume Axel was calling out lurkers seriously, rather than facetiously?
— Generally speaking, why do you have no sense of humour?
— Do you enjoy playing as scum?
— Do you have an opinion on Axelrod?
— Do you have opinions on the players voting you?
I didn't think he was calling out lurkers?
Regardless of what his intentions with that post, I didnt like it
and his next post felt like an appeal
I have a sense of humor, I don't like RVS
I will say that jokes and sarcasm tend to go over my head a lot of the time
I like being a wolf, because I don't have to question if posts are just stupid or malicious
I still have a problem with TMI, and actually pushing towns though when I do roll wolf though
vote: Axelrod
thats my opinion on Axelrod right now
Tom's vote is NAI
Vaimes is being Vaimes, and I don't want to butt heads with him like I did in previous games
Rhand's vote also doesnt really say much, I would like him to tell me why though
ZDS' vote doesnt feel like he actually thinks I am a wolf, questions are ok I guess
Semi worries a bit how I relate to the Rvs and jokes part of this so much.
I'm personally going to take my time with ZDS this game I'm annoyed with how hard pocketed I got, so do not want to make that mistake again.
No real reason it just felt right at the time when reading at 2am. I think their posts just came off to me as a bit awkward as well, but this is was by no means a fully serious vote.
I used to be hard for people to read, but since I came out of my hiatus I think I lost that air and most people read me more easily. I think part of that is because I put more focus in my town game, when before it was more in my scum game. So I came off as scummy in general.

Rhand, it's just so ridiculous--how did this play-style develop? Like when you were first starting did you change your town game so it would be harder to figure out if you're scum or did you just naturally have this absurd level of confidence out of the gate as town and it's just easy to throw out a name with no explanation and have people buy into it?
I am only the tiniest cloud in front of the shade master.
I like this wagon. I do pity Whispy who seems genuinely confused and annoyed by the growing stack of unexplained votes, so here I go:
Would he be "genuinely" confused and annoyed if he were scum?
Possibly. It can be annoying and confusing to be caught so early, when it happens.

I was 50/50 on Whispy but now Umami really rings like scum who can't figure out why a townie is being scumread (and doesn't take much risk in opposing the wagon). See 73 and 75, mostly (the hypocrisy in 72+73 is a nice bonus).
Unvote Vote: Umami
ZDS, the humor question is what got me, it was great haha
Rhand, don't hate me, I find these emojis sort of disturbing but I'll start using them
I don't trust early wagons in general--so are you saying Whispy is townie now?
Oramen was in a round room in the shade wing of the royal palace in Pourl when they came to tell him that his father and his elder brother were dead and he would, in time, be king. He looked up from his papers at the breathless earl who’d burst into the room and broken the news. The earl’s name was Droffo, from Shilda, if Oramen was not mistaken. Meanwhile a couple of the palace servants piled into the room behind the nobleman, also breathing hard and looking flushed. Oramen sat back in his seat. He noticed it was dark outside. A servant must have lit the room’s lamps.
“Dead?” he said. “Both of them? Are you sure?”
“If all reports are to be believed, sir. From the army command and from tyl Loesp himself. The King is – the King’s body is returning on a gun carriage, sir,” Droffo told him. “Sir, I’m sorry. It’s said poor Ferbin was cut in half by a shell. I am so sorry, sir, sorry beyond words. They are gone.”

I don't quite understand the hate about Wisp. I'm not seeing him as actually scummy. So far he's just being Wisp from what I see, and the wagon on him is a thing that interests me for that reason. It looks like a "lets see where this goes" wagon for the most part.
Umami I haven't played with enough yet to get a solid feel on, but they're fine. The wagon there might be more interesting in the end, I'll let that develop.
I wanna leave my vote on Jack right now. My experience with him last game was that he became townie very quickly. A little pressure will probably bring that out again I think. Or the opposite, if that's the case. I want people to follow me here to test this.
Vaimes: How serious is the tom townread? Is it "you see town tom" or "tom is not being scum" or something else entirely?
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

I initially voted Whispy for his tense reaction to Axel's (and to a lesser extent tom's) joke and to his wagon. He was a lot more easygoing last game so I figured he may be the kind of player who can't completely relax as scum. Furthermore his wagon was made of good, veteran analysts, which did not influence my vote but made me feel good about it.
I am now reversing my read on him because:
— Of Umami's possible TMI. It may not be obvious at a glance but look harder because I assure you it's there;
— Axelrod is being extremely unimpressive and doing very little visible scumhunting (I want to see where he is going with Grape because aside from that his posts are all fluff);
— Killjoy is being extremely unimpressive as well and far too careful and calculating.
So my eyes are on UmAxeljoy now.
Speaking of Umami, it irritates me how his tone has changed since his previous grape of posts. Now he's all sweet and friendly, it looks like a disgustingly blatant attempt to pocket.
I don't think I am going to like this voting program.
But, since Grape hasn't posted since his last post and is now clearly a liar,

Why is expressiveness a requirement for mafia?
I said last game I was taking a new way of playing mafia that doesn't require so much effort from me. That might be what you're seeing here.
