KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

from experience i can tell you improving your towngame makes your scumgame suffer. Gotta keep going back and forth improving each a little at a time.
You, uh, didnt.
Youre gonna be hot garbage next time you roll scum. Dont think thats this game aorn.
@Shadow: Do you see anything noteworthy right now?
Yes, but I’m not sure I see anything AI. I have a soft spot for Tubba’s self meta, and I’m also intrigued by tom’s interest in him atm.
i figure ive "propped him up" to some extent for a chunk of his mafia career. As his buddy, as scum pocketing him, and v/v correctly reading him.
I doubt he sees it this way and probably no one else should either but my attitude is sorta "momma hawk watching him hunt on his own"
Between you and shadow I’ve been pretty much ninja’d.
Also, KJ is probably town.
I swear to god I'm not this easy to read.
Do you have any reads rn?
IME, you are a bit more frivolous, and go with the flow as scum. My impression of you so far is “buzzkilly, obnoxiously serious town KJ”.
Reads as yet are pretty sparse, Tom usually has kid gloves on around me and his pushing me this game, which could mean anything with Tom. Probably >scummy, as I think it’d be easier to just bury me without getting his hands as dirty.
KCC >scummy by dint of mixing it up with Tom and Shadow, but I’m not familiar with their play so well salted.
I think Shadow genuinely likes my presence, (and who can blame him?) but with skilled players I’m always worried about the layers. Cautiously optimistic.
@KJ/Tom: yes, I think the presence in the thread has been townie, and I do specifically see at least something from each player here that I think comes from town more often than scum.
There was a large chunk of that Day where I was stretching to find anything I cared about. Someone described it as a weird energy. And it turned out there was just no scum around
I know it's early, and a very small game, but I'm struggling to find anything to even poke at, far more than I'd like

I love how you cut out the vote from my quote. It’s not like my post was big enough to clutter the thread without snipping it.
Which solidifies my read on you.
Also, KJ’s naïveté points towards town!him, so KCC / Cantrip seems like a good early shot at being the scumteam.
@KJ/Tom: yes, I think the presence in the thread has been townie, and I do specifically see at least something from each player here that I think comes from town more often than scum.
That's funny, I'm a little wary that Tubba or Cantrip were being deliberately friendly with me. It's definitely in Trip's scum playbook, and if Tubba is scum, I can picture literally any of the possible scumbuddys warning "KCC can be scary, stay on her good side"

Cantrip is always friendly, no matter his alignment.
Looking at this playerlist, including yourself, who do you think would be possible mislynches?
Shadow is doing his thing where he tries mudding the waters early on about who the PR is to make sure scum shoots wrong.
It’s similar to what he did in the recent Token micro. And successfully. I was scum in that one and got the token distribution all wrong because of him.
Looking at this playerlist, including yourself, who do you think would be possible mislynches?
I would have immediately said KJ, but he cleaned up some of his play and made it deep into Euro.
I don't consider myself mislynchable, it's basically never happened, but others here might after I just cop CC scum and then took heavy pressure anyway. That could look tempting
I think of Cantrip as being hard to mislynch midgame, but he was teetering around it near the end of Euro and also D1 there.
I heard some talk about you being a potential mislynch when you are busy.
Tom and Shadow seem just generally hard to lynch at all
I don't know Tubba, but he endgamed the only game I glanced at
Reads as yet are pretty sparse, Tom usually has kid gloves on around me and his pushing me this game, which could mean anything with Tom. Probably >scummy, as I think it’d be easier to just bury me without getting his hands as dirty.
KCC >scummy by dint of mixing it up with Tom and Shadow, but I’m not familiar with their play so well salted.
You seriously couldn't have waited, like, 30 minutes? Also: no.
KCC, talk to me about Tom. How do you go about sussing him?
Shadow, you didn't answer Tom's #73; what are your thoughts on KCC?
Tom, I'm getting mixed messages from you on Tubba. You've gone from demanding to expressing your feelings as would a mother hawk to "not being impressed". But no real read yet?

dont think theres any mixed messages there, dudes gotta start flying and im watching
@KJ/Tom: yes, I think the presence in the thread has been townie, and I do specifically see at least something from each player here that I think comes from town more often than scum.
@KCC Tom voted me because I voted shadow who was apperently an 'obvious watcher' which would mean I voted in an attempt to kill the towns only PR which would mean I could recognize breadcrumbing this early and react to it and that's why I would have been voting shadow.
Tom's vote on me seems to assume I thought (knew?) that shadow was breadcrumbing watcher, which is a weird assumption to make based on what tom knows about me and my ability to play nonstandard versions of mafia (gaming setups, etc)
@Shadow Why are you pressurevoting Cantrip when he said he would be gone this weekend?
Cantrip: My RVS vote on shadow was Vezok's RVS vote in Eurovision. Was kinda hoping scum would jump on that but no one remembered it.

what do you see from kcc?
You felt the need to reiterate this after I reiterated it two posts before because...?
KCC, talk to me about Tom. How do you go about sussing him?
I'm not sure it works yet, but his posts just felt dramatically different between Modern and Euro. His scum game was guarded, and intentionally hard to read. In Euro, he was much more open, I could feel him reaching out and probing rather than being withdrawn.
So far, I've seen some signs of him being difficult and keeping his cards close to his chest. I'm hoping it's an early game thing that turns around, because scumTom was not a fun project last time
@KJ: I get that a lot. Out of curiosity, despite the rather low amount of posts, has anything stuck out to you?
What were you expecting to get out of this question?
It was open ended, and it’s the type of question that, if posed early enough can trip up scum who aren’t sure how much or little they should be reading into things yet.

I'm pretty sure I've seen town!Tom keep his reads close, so ymmv, but why highlight this read this early in the game (as opposed to waiting for Tom to either continue as-is or change)?
but why highlight this read this early in the game (as opposed to waiting for Tom to either continue as-is or change)?
If I'm right about his scum play, and why, and my read encourages him to adjust, I think that'll just make him easier to read, not harder
And there's not much of a later to wait for. As much as I'd like to, I can't really set 2/3rds of the game on the back burner when Tomorrow is potential lylo
@Cantrip: WRT Tubba/Tom, yes, I am pretty sure I have been in all the gams they’ve been in together. (And I think tom and I have discussed it out of game).
@cantrip/KJ: I’m voting Cantrip because I have town leanings/pings on every other player.
KCC started eurovision bringing people in. Even the *rvs>maybe real push* on vaimes was trying to make him do stuff. Some jokes and fluff and greetings too, but those also show camaraderie
Here, its like a push away. RVS vote on tubba because she doesnt know him. Some questions to get to know him but theyre shady and standoffish.
Im interpreting this difference as essentially TMI that shes the (informed) minority. Shes not reaching out and figuring out who to trust, but looking for weakness. Stalking.
Sticking with vote.
For references read her posts here then first two pages of eurovision. Just feels different and think thats why
I doubt he sees it this way and probably no one else should either but my attitude is sorta "momma hawk watching him hunt on his own"

(Assuming im correct to interpret this as "thread seems towny>maybe its the people not posting" @shadow)
It does feel a bit like Eurovision D1
KJ, why did you think Tom thought you were role hunting?
This vote feels kinda the exact opposite of that to me?
IME, you are a bit more frivolous, and go with the flow as scum. My impression of you so far is “buzzkilly, obnoxiously serious town KJ”.

Thats about it that’s standing out to me now.

Why?

Then again it's a micro, it's always too early.

Strong townlean on KJ.

I liked KCCs reaction to Tom, seemed like town caring what was happening. It’s among the weaker reads I have though.
@KJ: I’m not pressure voting Cantrip, I’m real voting Cantrip.

Rhand was level with Cantrip, but moved up slightly, hence my vote shift.
Were you aware of Tom's relationship before he described it in 50 (after you indicated being intrigued)?
Given that I hadn't posted since Friday, how was your vote "real" and not a pressure vote?
But, no, not really. The vote was for missing the breadcrumb, not role hunting.
I'm used to you having unusual interpretations of posts, but this feels more like paranoia
